As she stepped closer to him, the urge to continue rapidly scratching his neck appeared again. He wondering why she had stepped closer to him. He had never had good luck with girls and he didn't expect his time in Team Rocket to be much different.
Besides what did he know about her other than she had a weirdly behaving Pikachu and apparently a thing for dancing alone at night.
He took a breath in and tried to stand his ground as she continued looking at him.

Finding nothing leading to why Rory was blushing Ally sat back and pouted. Guys were like a foreign planet to her anyway. They do such weird stuff then they expect you to know what they're talking about when your left kinda clueless...
Anyways,
Her motivation all but lost, Ally stepped back and raised one eyebrow while waving her hand in a dismissive motion.
"So, what brings you to team rocket? And spare me the hole I want power bull, it's kinda overused..."

Rory raised an eyebrow slightly. First she was kissing him on the cheek, then she was almost in his face and, like a switch had been flicked, had backed off.
Even after living with them, he still didn't understand why women had to be so confusing.
He shrugged at her question. "I needed a job and couldn't find work anywhere else."
He smirked slightly and turned the question back on her. "What brings you here?"

Well, she could understand that one. Should she tell this guy why she joined a n "evil" crime organization? The tiny lady shrugged, eh why not? It's not like any harm could come to her right? Well, he might think it was a childish and irresponsible reason, but she's heard that alot from certain members of team rocket that she will not name...
"I joined for Kicks because I was looking for my cousin Xander... Have you met him before? he's pretty awesome!"
everyone should know about her cousin at some point, he is the best brother figure on the planet anyway.

She joined a criminal organization, because her cousin was here? She had the chance to do anything else with her life yet she chose this because she wanted to find a member of her family?
"I haven't met him yet," Rory replied, trying to remember if he had run into anyone similar to Ally in the halls. If he had, he would definitely remember. "He must be awesome for you to join up to find him."
At least she had a somewhat decent reason to be here.

"Of course he is awesome, but you should TOTALLY meet him when you hAve the time!"
A yawn escaped her and she suddenly realized she was sleepy. Maybe she should call it a night? Yeah that seemed appropriate...Ally craned her neck to look Rory in the eye, smiling.
"I don't know about you, but I'm tired. It was nice meeting you and thanks again for saving me from my clumsiness!"
Ally moved to gather her stuff and lifted the heavy bag with a slight grunt. This bag got heavier all of a sudden..

The encounter had actually woken Rory up a bit more than he already had been before he started on his little adventure. Maybe he could seek into the lab and take a look at things down there without the higher ups looking over his shoulder constantly.
When he saw her having trouble lifting her bag, he went over to her.
The red slightly flooded his cheeks again. He really wished that would stop. "If you want, I could carry that back for you?" he offered.

He sure blushes a lot... Not that she was complaining...
"U-ummmmm sure, that would be nice. Thanks! Geez I wish I could have some bubble tea right now..."
bubble tea would be so awesome....he looks kinda cute blushing like that...wait a minute, should she be even thinking that? The thought caused a deep blush to run across her cheeks and she shook her head slightly, to clear her thoughts.
"I'll show you the way to my room. Follow me and keep up alright?!"
man she was tired....

When she agreed to let him help her, Rory grabbed her bag and threw it over his shoulder. He was slightly curious as to what exactly bubble tea was, he'd never heard of it before.
He noticed the blush appear on her cheeks, accentuating her freckles and bright hair, and wondered what had caused it.
He smiled at her. "Just show me the way."
