Ah've been there, like Ah said - so Ah know what ta do." Not only had Ofelia invited herself along she was now inviting others and, thankfully, was at the door to her room. Hefting the guy on her shoulders to the side she opened the dorm door and stepped in, still carrying him, before turning to look around. She motioned from the person who'd followed them to come in as well, clearly not thinking this whole thing though.
Her room was bare, empty of pretty much everything worthwhile, but at least she knew she had pants and shoes and could somewhat properly layer herself. "Okay, Ah'mma get dressed. Both of y'all jus' stay right there an' then once Ah'm done we'll all go tagether. If ya try an' run outta here Ah'll catch ya, tackle ya, an' leave ya feelin' stupid fer yer efforts."

Before gave Aleister a look. One that expressed complete disappointment and a deep sense of betrayal. Then the Misty remembered he made the Deather cry when they were kids so okay. Fine. This was just payback for that. So his expression changed. Into something more akin to a very unhappy baby pony.
"Iunno, just listen to her talk. You try making sense," he huffed xnx When he was deposited in Ofelia's room, Before just sulked and held his baby seal coat against him. "Mebbe I should accompany Al here to his room so he can get his stuff together. Wouldn't want him to freeze."
One. Last. Ditch attempt.

Aleister stood there leaning on the door frame. "Sure. I'll tag along, I always wanted to see Alaska. Even if it isn't quite a site seeing job." He bobbed his head pausing and looking at Before.
There was a small frown, "I'm sure she'll let us make a quick pit stop on the way out for me to grab something a little warmer." He added in a whisper, "I'm not sure she'll let you go anywhere since she ended up having to carry you."
He was standing there looking at Before. "Oh, uh... I'm not sure I caught your name."

"If ya try ta run Ah'll tackle yer a** an' make ya regret doin' it. Ah'll also carry ya like a princess all the way ta the portal an' make sure ta sing as offkey as possible while doin' it. Understood?" Ofelia learned around the corner, as she'd sort of moved out of sight to pull a shirt over her torso, and she finished yanking it down as she spoke and moved into sight. A pair of boots decorated her feet, she got dressed quickly enough, though the sight of shorts on her legs wasn't a welcome one. Ofelia didn't have pants, plain and simple, though she did have a shirt that had short sleeves rather than being sleeveless. She'd just have to suck it up and be cold, though part of her doubted she'd be doing much standing around this time.
"As fer mah name, Ah'm Ofelia. Ah dunno either of ya guys but we're goin' right now okay? Do Ah need ta - actually, Ah ain't gonna ask cause ya already threatened ta bolt once." Ofelia moved quickly and lifted Before off his feet one more time, once again hefting him over her shoulders. "If yer needin' a jacket too let's get ya one, but hurry up. Ah'm eager ta get this party started."

Mission  Survey Mission 2AArticle Headline: Five missing in plane crash in Alaska. * C class difficulty level (must have a team of three, at least one of them must be an intermediate trainee) *Article contents: Five people have been reported as missing, after a small plane crashed in the northern woods in Alaska, with no sign of their bodies to be found, including that of the pilot. Witnesses report that upon spotting the fallen plane, the seats were torn, as if something had dragged all the passengers out of the plane forcefully. MECHANICS * MECHANICS: RP assembling a team, as necessary, before heading towards the Lighthouse portal to request a portal to Survey Mission 2A. Once there, roll a 100-sided dice and match the roleplay to the results below, as well as any reactions. Each player must roll at least three times with rped reactions. Once they have "collected enough information", they can return back and submit a report in this thread. 1- 20: You search around, but don't find any obvious evidence. Just the signs of an abandoned broken plane, and footsteps around the site 21 - 40: You catch the smell of something odd - a burning sort of smell - but you can't locate where its from. The plane perhaps? 41 - 60: You decide to investigate your only lead, the abandoned plane a little more. On the inside, you notice the seats are still damp, a strange smell lingering inside. Your weapon senses the barest traces of a lingering Fear... 61 - 80: You lift up the seats of the plane, the cargo, anything inside, and find traces of thick black hair. The seats also seem to be molding. 81- 100: As you search around the plane, other than the footsteps of other investigative teams, you notice that the snow is clustered in odd clumps around the plane, almost like waves with thick and thin ridges... * 3 mission reward points for completing this successfully

It was at this point that Before pretty much surrendered all rights to his dignity. And like a sack of potatoes he simply hung on Ofie's shoulder, staring balefully at Aleister, "I guess now you got your stuff with you, I should totes accept you're all coming with. Whether I like it or not. So call me Before, 'cuz you ain't getting in that portal without an Intermediate with you."
When they arrived, the Misty insisted vehemently that he can walk on his own and he should put his coat on anyway before they all went through the portal. Emerging on the other side, the first thing Before noticed was how ******** cold it was. The second thing he noticed, "Oh fu- what is that smell?!" his face crinkled in distaste but eventually he motioned for the Deather to stick close while turning to Ofelia, "So you've done this before, huh? Aaaannnddd it turned out Alaska was still just as cold as Ofelia remembered and although goosebumps instantly sprung themselves to her legs she was still much warmer this time around. The semi-sleeves and wearing her jacket had done the trick, not to mention she was a bit hyped up with energy. When they reached the plane crash, or whatever it was supposed to be, she glanced around and tried to remember just what it was she'd gone here. It honestly hadn't been that long ago and she could recall bits and pieces but the specifics of it all....well. Ofelia shrugged and grinned at the same time. "Ah dunno, not really rememberin' from the top'a mah head. Jus' look 'round an' take pictures if sommin' looks weird? As fer me....y'all notice that smell? Like sommin' burnin'? Izzat the smell yer talkin' 'bout B'fore?"
Has that smell been there last time? Ofelia couldn't remember, she didn't recall the smell of burning (only moist and mold), and Rue made mention that she didn't recall burning either.
Do try to find that delicious FEAR though. Wasn't it here that I had just a faint taste of it? I want it again hick, make sure you find it.

Aleister had put on his winter jacket right before they walked through the portal. Of course, he hadn't been too worried about the cold until afterwords. "Holy smokes it's cold."
He quickly zipped up his coat and pulled the hood over his head. Sorta wishing that he had brought some warmer pants along with him. Aleister was looking around, "Stacey had mentioned something about keeping an eye out for unusual patterns or signs on the mission that I was on with Petra."
He'd been at least doing his homework. "Apparently, weird things happen before.... uh... what'd he call it.... supernatural activity?" That was right wasn't it? With so much stuff to try and remember he was getting a little disoriented. Aleister headed for the plane as the other two were smelling something... brunt.<Somethings left fear behind.... mmm... wonder what it was.>"Lets hope it's still not here Puca." Aleister said as he started checking seats they seemed to be still damp. Ew, "Hey guys." Aleister called from the inside, "Iunno about burning smells but something is totally rotten in Denmark."
Not but a few minutes after saying that the hunter trainee paused when a thought struck him. <What if it's still around.....><Non-sense... how long has this thing been here? I'm sure someone would've seen it by now.>"H-h-hey guys this thing wouldn't still be here would it?"

Wow okay he was worried that whatever had done this might still be around? Ofelia had to snicker, thinking just how cute this Ali person happened to be. "There's no way it could be 'round here still, Ah was jus' here back a bit ago an' nothin' was here. S'cute that yer worried though." The teen moved through the wreckage, kicking a few things over with the tip of her booted foot. If she recalled, right around here was - "Ahhh, here it is, wow. Surprised ta see some still here. B'for, Ali, com'ere an' look."
Dark black hair seemed to cling in the places that she remembered and, judging by all the footprints, she wondered just how many groups had actually gone ahead and noticed it before? This time she brought a bag of her own so she collect a few samples (with a note to tell Marcus and Jordan later in hopes of making them proudish), and as the hair was scooped up she looked around. "Mah group last time got some'a this too, jus' didn' realize there was so much of it. Maybe whatever did do this comes back when no one's 'round?"

The Misty had already begun to take photographs of the wreckage with his phone, pulling the jacket closer to him as if it would stave off the chill that was borne not from the cold but from the lingering traces of FEAR. Vanna had been anxious about it and hearing Ofelia's confirmation that they were having the exact same situation as she had prior. "Oh not good. So not good," he muttered, pulling his issued scarf up to cover his face. He began to bag samples of the seat, swabbing it at first then cutting off a small portion of the damp upholstery.
"Was it ever confirmed that this stuff isn't human hair from the crash victims?" he asked the Sunny as he eyed the clumps of dark hair. Was it hair or was it more like fur? The Lifers back at HQ should know more though were they given to giving out info at all was another matter.

The death trainee seemed to relax a little when Ofelia said that there was no way it could still be around. Of course, when he was called to come look he peeked over one of the seats careful not to touch anything unless he had to and glanced at the black hair or fur or whatever it was.
Aleister's purple eyes widened when Ofelia said that the thing might come back when no one is around. "If it comes back when no one is around and it was here when the plane crashed or caused the plane to crash or whatever. It could come back while we're here."
He didn't like this, nope, not one bit.
<Stop being such a scarecrow> Puca sighed in his head. <Why not be useful and try to do some more work eh? If the thing comes back you have me to protect you remember?>
<Yeah your right..... maybe I worry too much.> The death trainee paused, "I'm going to go look outside and see if I can find anything." He said as he slipped out of the plane and started look around at the broken pieces and footsteps. Nothing really stood out. Which the death trainee thought might be a little on the weird side.

"Okidokie. Holler if ya find anythin' fun or strange, 'kay?" Ofelia raised a hand up and waved at the pair. As she went lower her arm back down she noticed the damp smell again, that strange feeling, and Rue's voice finally pierced her head for what seemed to be the first time in a long time.
Delicious FEAR. Again, so faint, so faint. I want it to be stronger, but it's here none the less. Such sweet, sweet FEAR. Ofelia looked at her bracelet and then back at the wreckage, her brow bending. FEAR should have gone away by now, right? Or was Rue just really good at sensing it?
"B'for, Ali! Rue says she's feelin' FEAR over here!"

Before didn't quite like the way things were going on this mission. Or on any of the other missions. There were never any answers or explanations discovered and the people in the Life Labs were as tight-lipped as they come. No ******** way were the Deathers gonna share intel with mere trainees either.
"How are you holding up, Al?" Before asked then paused in his search to bend down and take closer pictures of the strange tracks. "Mechanical or organic?" he muttered.

"Huh, oh... alright I guess." He was looking around sort of nervous like. "I'm kinda always twitchy when it comes to..... 'the real world'."
He placed quotation marks in the air. With his fingers as he continued to look around. He paused to take a look at what Before was talking about. Glancing at the patterns in the snow, clumps. He frowned thinking. "Iunno.... they... sorta look like waves."
He observed as he followed the ridges. Curiously looking at the clumps and then around again. "The wind wouldn't do this though would it?"
