The mysterious emotion called love. This was love! So soon to be feeling so strong an emotion, and apparently everyone was feeling the tug of the heartstrings lately. Mot had only been dating this ghoul for a couple of months, yet here they were! Mot nuzzled the top of Hel's head, breathing in her sweet and spicy scent deeply. Was it her shampoo or simply her usual scent. Whatever it was, he was rendered intoxicated by it.

"I feel the need to celebrate. I want to spend all of my time with you." He couldn't bear to be away from her for more than a second.

"I desire coffee. Come get a coffee with me." Mot said with a cheeky grin. Status effect or not, sometimes boils just killed a romantic mood dead. "I will buy you a cake. Any cake you want." Coffee and cake.

Do... does coffee cake exist...YES IT DOES!!

"Yes.. cake..."

Yay~!

"Whaaaaat? But you have to have some with me!" Mot insisted, a big frown across his face.

"Yes! A lot of places. Night life is a whole other life!" Mot stepped back, holding his gift closely. "One moment please."

The reaper ran to his room to drop off his gift and came back in a hurry.

Mot smiled and took Hel's hand, walking her down the stairwell and out of the dorms. "Night life is wonderful. You'll see!" Businesses had to cater to vampires after all, right? "The lights, music and sounds. And coffee."

Mot nodded firmly, lightly swinging their hands in between each other. "I do. Since I can't sleep much, or rather, I tend to choose not to anymore.. I've found going out at night is the best use of my time. Honestly, I'm really happy you'll be coming with me this time." Mot grinned widely, his eyes a sparkle with anticipation.

"There is a cafe that plays jazz. There is dancing, and many events in certain places. I hope we can do a lot before you become fatigues."

Mot laughed lightly, shrugging off the concern. "I suppose." Maybe he should be more careful about his bad habits, for Hel's sake.

They left the school grounds, walking amid the cool midnight breeze and dimly lit pathways toward town.

"If you fall asleep on our date, I will simply carry you home." Mot said with a warm smile.

"Okay, okay." Mot insisted, looking down at Hel with a look that said he should have known better. "I'll try and.. adjust my schedule." The reaper blushed. Suddenly he wanted to do all in his power to make Hel pleased with him. "I'll even skip the afternoon coffee break. They probably don't help.." He chuckled nervously. "Ah, but tonight I still get one coffee. It is my Birthday. I'll make it a decaf, though."

The reaper smiled widely, picking up the pace as Hel inquired about the plan. "I was thinking we could go to the Jazz cafe first! A bit of dancing and culture."

Mot grinned, giggling as he was allowed to have his usual coffee. "Thank you." He seemed elated. As it was, he only ever got hard to deal with when he had more than one.

Soon the pair arrived in town, to a spot that seemed alive with activity. Lights shimmered, residents wore fancy night life attire, and all sorts of Halloween residents were interacting together. Street vendors sold trinkets, and restaurants competed for clientele with live entertainment and discounts on beverages of an adult nature.

"Come! The Jazz Hut has an outdoor patio!" Mot led Hel hurriedly to a quickly crowding patio with a dance floor and tables for two set up along the sides. The band was still setting up. Mot grabbed a table for the both of them, sitting across from Hel with a large grin on his face. "I'm so happy you're with me! I never knew having a ghoulfriend to brig could be so exciting."
