Freakshows limp body is dragged right up again! No rest for the champ. He's hooked in position for the snap suplex, up and over his whipped to the thinly padded floor! He sits up, cringing, arching his back. The wind had been knocked right out of him by the familiar move, made more affective by the location that said maneuver was performed. He rolls over onto his stomach and kicks his feet in pain. Everyone in the arena, at home, and backstage was certainly getting a kick from this.

Landry took a fair ammount of impact from the suplex on the mats, but not nearly as much as Freakshow. He would try and pick up his rival and throw him into the ring, hopefully this would be a short night.

Freakshow brought up to his feet and flung right back into the ring like a sack of potatoes. He rolls a bit, before quickly scrambling towards his feet. While he wanted to stand, his body wasn't ready after taking such a large amount of offense in such a short time. In shambles, he takes a couple of wobbly steps forward, throws a few drunken punches at nothing in particular, then tips right back over and hits the ground face first in the center of the ring.. He pops off the ground and onto his back, where he attempts to sit up while cupping at his nose that he'd banged against the ground.

Landry stepped up to the apron, watching Freakshow's theatrical pain unfold. When he saw his opportunity, he would jump up to the top rope and springboard off, aiming a dropkick to the face of his sitting opponent.

Landry springs up on the turnbuckle and comes soaring down towards Freak with a well placed dropkick to the face! The impact of the maneuver sends him flipping over backwards onto his stomach! The crowd is eating it up, this is exactly what they wanted to see so far.

After that, Landry tried to roll Freak over for a pinfall.

Freak is rolled over the the pin attempt. The referee slides in to make the count:

Landry would try and sit Freakshow up immediatly after the kickout so he could attempt a sitting abdominal stretch to work on his already injured midsection.

Freak, dazed and confused, is brought up to a seated position and locked into the abdominal stretch! This was a hold the champion, a seasoned veteran, normally would be able to escape easily. But he wasn't quite in the right state of mind. He spends a few moments in the hold, before he begins to start attempting to fight his way up to a vertical base..

Landry tried to maintain his submission to wear him down as much as possible, even if it meant Freak getting to his feet.

Freakshow, now in a standing position, starts huffing and puffing, his face red. The champ was trying to regain a bit of energy so he could break loose. Once he felt he had a sufficient amount of life back in him, he'd try countering the hold by attempting a hip toss!

Landry's grip was tight, and he had enough leverage to force down the arm and try stopping the hip toss. If it worked, he'd execute the standing switch and try to throw Freak into a hip toss of his own.

"Wha-" Freaks eyes widen a little as Landry anchors himself to the ground, preventing the hip toss. The Innovator makes the switch, grabs the other arm, and launches the new yorker with a hip toss of his own. Freakshow is sent tumbling over onto the back! He hits the floor hard. The champ arches his back in pain, then rolls over onto his shoulder and starts kicking his feet, causing him to start spinning around on his side for a moment, before he settled down and rolled over onto his stomach, his hand placed against the small of his back.

With Freak on his hands and knees, he'd try to grab him between the legs and around the neck to lift him up and attempt a Gutbuster. If it connected, he'd press down on the neck and tailbone to press Freak's midsection into the point of his knee for another new submission maneuver.

Freakshow is lifted up then right back down onto Landry's knee!
"Oooofff!"
Freak shouts, the wind forced right out of him by the gutbuster! To make matters worse, he's kept there, his ability to breath constricted by his opponents knee pressed right into his gut.. Things weren't turning out so hot for the champ.
