 Severin Novaire "Literature is complex and one really has to think to understand it."________________________((Lightning has been nagging me to put it in his profile, but I didn't want people pitying him. XD ))
Severin had left in a rush and his feet had dragged him into a book store where he took refuge. He felt like he was suffocating. He sat down at one of the couches and just tried to forget about it.
He hoped that Chea would get it by now. He wasn't all that great and he was perfectly useless. He just didn't want to be stuck with a girl who just gave him things and he was unable to give anything back to her. He wasn't ready to deal with women. They were so nosy and so selfless. And they never gave Severin the chance to be independent.
He was perpetually depending on her. Severin took off his glasses and the world blurred around him and he couldn't see anything. It was all a big blur. These eyes were terrible eyes, but he loved them dearly.
He leaned on down on his knees and sighed.

Young Master Oz Vessalius  "The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do." ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀✿ Chea finally caught up on him.. Though, panting and trying to catch her breath.. If she spotted him right. she saw him entered this store.. Then went inside, looking on every corner for him.. But somehow, she felt a little worried and uncomfortable.. It was like her heart wants to jumped out from her chest.
Even though, she still felt irritated for just leaving her like that.. Chea already set those aside and look for Severin.. Until she finally spotted him. Chea took a deep breath then approached him silently.. Afterwards, she sat beside him, analyzing what could have been wrong..
She cleared her throat, "I finally found you.. Do you think running away from me like that would be the answer of freeing yourself as my prisoner?.." She waited him to reply.. but spoke anyway.. "Set aside about the 'prisoner' thing.. I don't know what's wrong.. So.. could you at least educate me?..." She sigh.. while leaning against the couch..
"I don't know if I offended you.. So.. I'm willing to listen on your sentiments.. if that's the only thing to make you feel better..." ✿▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ "My only mistake is YOU" ((LOL.. okay.. so why don't you tell me here then xD))

Severin Novaire "Literature is complex and one really has to think to understand it."________________________Silveril turned to look at Chea but she was a big blur in front of him since his eyes couldn't see anything without his glasses.
"It's been years since I thought about it." Severin said as he glanced away, but there was no change. It was all blurry. He couldn't see the world around him. "And it's depressing and pointlessly stupid."
"And if anyone hears about it, they'll just pity me and give me those pretty words in attempt to make me feel better."
It's been years, but how could he forget when he had a constant reminder every time he was able to see the world around him?
"They just can't straight out tell me that she's dead."

Young Master Oz Vessalius ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀✿ Chea remained silent, while listening to Severin. He doesn't makes sense.. "Try me then.. I'll listen..." She sigh.. while looking at him, though Severin glanced away..
She grabbed her sketchpad and pencil once more from her bag.. Then starts to scribble.. But paused when she heard him say about dead.. Once more she looked at him with her brows crinkled. "She's?" uncertain on how to ask him about it.. ✿▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ "My only mistake is YOU" ((Sorry short post.. Chea is listening to him anyway.. xD))

Severin Novaire "Literature is complex and one really has to think to understand it."________________________((It's long. D< I'll try to make it as short as possible. I'll break it into two to keep the suspense! >D))
Severin closed his eyes as he recalled the days when all he saw was the blackness. "I used to be a delinquent that got good grades. I was an idiot who lived life carelessly. I knew what girls wanted since I had experience from watching my older sister. So I dated and dumped quite normally. Then on my senior year, there was a big accident. I got glass in my eyes and the doctors couldn't save them. I was blind and everything that I had was instantly taken away from me."
"All my friends started to avoid me. The teachers only helped me because it was their duty. I thought I lost everything and then I met her. Rui. She started helping me. She helped me get to classes even though she got in trouble for being late every day. The first time I started to like sweets was when she ordered fruit crepes for me and she laughed when I got it all over my face because I couldn't see what I was doing. In the end, she had to clean my face for me. She liked to read and since I couldn't read, she often read to me. She showered me with so much love and I couldn't give anything back to her." Severin's eyes watered as he recalled those memories.
"I didn't appreciate her enough. I took her for granted. I didn't know anything about her. I couldn't even see her face. I thought Rui would always be there." Severin frowned. "I'm sorry. Give me a moment."
Severin tried to use his hands to stop the dripping tears. Jeez. He really was pathetic wasn't he? A small puddle welled up in his hand. ________________________ "The beauty of it is that literature never hits me if I misunderstand. "

Young Master Oz Vessalius ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀✿ Chea sighed.. Then grabbed her hanky from her pocket, offered it to him, while looking away from Severin.. She dunked her head low... Somehow, Chea finally understood why Severin kept pushing her away from him.. And telling her not to give him gifts, and just forget everything about him..
Chea remained silent.. And kept helped but to wonder about Rui. She closed her eyes.. Does he see Rui on me? the reason why.. he can't considered going out with me?.. She sigh...
All that she can think of... She's useless...... ✿▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ "My only mistake is YOU" ((Just go on.. Chea's listening *relates with Severin*))

Severin Novaire "Literature is complex and one really has to think to understand it."________________________Severin thanked Chea for the hanky and wiped the tears away. He probably looked really lame to her, didn't he? Crying over something that happened some years ago.
Severin finally continued his story. "One day, I was told that someone was donating their eyes to me and I would be able to see again. I was so happy. I thought I'd be able to see Rui for once and have a normal life with her."
"But when I finally saw her-- the only time I got to see her face was at her funeral as she laid completely still in her casket. The person who donated her eyes to me was Rui. She told the doctor that if her surgery failed, she wanted to donate her eyes to me."
"Her eyes were terrible. She couldn't see anything and she relied heavily on glasses. She was as blind as I was if she didn't have her glasses."
Severin opened his eyes, seeing the blurry world that Rui saw without her glasses. "I couldn't protect her. I was blind and all I had been doing was taking from her. She only gave to me and I was never able to give anything back to her. Every day I wake up and I can see the world and I am reminded of her every time. Even as she was dying, she still gave to me."
"Women are nosy creatures. Selfless sometimes. And when they give and give and give, they don't realize how much they hurt the receiver who can't return anything. In the end, it feels as though I sucked the life from her like... like a parasite." Severin answered. He was terrified of going through something like that again. For once, he wanted to be able to give, but he had no idea where to start. He had no idea what to give.

Got lost in your eyes and never really had a chance
My mistake I didn't know to be inlove..." ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀✿ Soon as Severin is done with his long story.. Chea stood up quietly.. Then knelt in front of him while her hand reached for his face, wiping his tears using the back of her finger. Afterwards she took the glasses from his hand and put it on him gently.. She smiled.. "I don't know what to say.. Though I want to comfort you.. since you told me you don't want to hear anything just to make you feel better.. But I can't helped it.. Seeing the one I love----" She swallowed a lump on her throat.. Then gave a deep sigh...
"You just don't realize.. you have already given her something though..." Then paused for a while.. After a few minutes, she spoke.. "You should really take good care of those eyes, Sev.. Wherever Rui was, she's finally happy.. Knowing Severin is taking good care of her eyes.." That's all she could say.. Chea felt useless.. Realizing that she's been hurting Severin from what she's been doing.. She sighed it really felt heavy..
Chea stood up.. Then grabbed the book from the couch, turned her back against him.. She closed her eyes.. Though it's painful for her to know that she couldn't replace Rui in his heart.. "Forget what I told you about being my prisoner..." Chea lowered her head.. Though she promised herself to be more considerate of his feelings.. "..You're free.." Then she glanced over him with her brows crinkled..
She turned her back, marching her way out from the store.. And promised herself that she wouldn't dare to look back again... ✿▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ "...You had to fight to have the upper hand,
I had so many dreams about you and me..
Happy endings now I know...." *exit somewhere* ((Emoness too Dx))
