o3o The ladies made their own clothes? Amazing. While Taryn made her way to look at the blog some more, Mort turned to look at what else was in the demoness's room, when he spotted a small, peculiar sight: what looked like an undead taking notes. How'd she slip in? Probably during Lizzy's minor speech . . .
After writing his name on the list as well, he approached the smaller ghoul and knelt so that it didn't look like he was trying to peek, asking, "Is new face 'round here?" She looked to be a zombie just like him, but there were all sorts of undead creatures that Mortimer didn't want to assume.Dragain How many times can they try to get a purple ball? Raffle list

Hamika blinked as the other zombie spoke to her. She looked up at him, noting on her pad that he talked odd, but he was well preserved for a zombie. His glasses were a nice touch, and he was very grey compared to her. Hmm she wondered why. But now was not the time to ask. At least yet.
She gave him a smile. "Yes I'm new! Name's Hamika, and I'm a reporter, of sorts! Also an Intelligent Rotting Being, also known as a zombie. You are?" Good work Hamika you didn't dive straight for his knees, or demand to know his life story within the first three minutes of speaking! Good work, good work!
She slipped around him for a moment to write down her name on the list before plopping back down on her stool. She kicked her legs, the bones of her fleshless left leg making a soft little gyrating. Okay, yes at time she did look like a youngster. Just a little.Raffle list

A reporter, hmm? That would explain the note-taking. "Er, Intelligent R-Rotting Being too. Mortimer, Mort is short," he introduced, blinking at the creative alternative for "zombie". "Work with Paranormal Post, yes?" After all, maybe this Hamika had been around longer than he knew and he simply hadn't met her before. Though you'd think a zombie would be able to find another zombie pretty easily - or maybe that was just his luck with Alex.

Oh Great Mantis he must have done something wrong. The ghoul was approaching him now. Approaching him and holding something out. A ghoul was trying to give him something. He backed up a step or two, looking around and wondering yet again why he had thought it would be a good idea to come in here. He had just been following Mort, and he had no money to purchase clothing from the establishment that these ghouls were setting up. This had been a mistake. "I am sorry for taking the ball Miss Lizzy," he finally managed to spit out, holding it out to her. "I was unsure if I was suppose to put it back. I am Yǐn Cáng, and..." he was staring at the egg in her hands as if it quite possibly might bite him. "And I am completely unworthy of any gift Miss." Please do not single me out, please do not single me out.Would it be okay to run? Running sounded good. He shot a glance toward the exit, trying to plot his pathway to the door.

Mort huh? He really had an odd way of speaking. Did he leave out pronouns just because? But what was this about the 'Paranormal Post'? She shook her head, making sure to keep her hat on. "The Paranormal Post? Is that the school's newpaper? I haven't been here that long, actually, so don't know about a lot of things. So I'm more a freelancer at the moment? But its wonderful to meet you Morty!" The little zombie beamed up at him, a wide smile on her face..
She kicked her legs a little again. "Actually, I was barely able to get to this room. I got kinda lost." Hamika rubbed the back of her head sheepishly. Not her proudest moment, but hey, at least her leg hadn't fallen off or anything. That would be embarrassing.

"That's the problem, I have no idea," Taryn replied, her face falling and brows furrowing as she bounced on her hooves. "I mean, I'm red, that's an issue from the start and... my measurements? Are kind of off. I guess, um... I mean, I honestly don't know. I want something nice for Scarentine's..." Even though she didn't even know if she'd have somebody to go with.
The ghoul pushed her mouth to one side and chewed the inside of her cheek. Hmm...
"Do you do... consulting?"

"Oh, but lots of nice colors go with red! It's a lovely color!" She nodded at Taryn, "Awwww, well, if you find anything you like, from us or otherwise, you're free to drop by my place and I'll alter it for you free of charge! In fact, if you can find a dress for Scarentine's, I'll do a rush order for you, free!" The ghoul seemed nice, after all!
She paused at the question, and wished that Junko was around so that she could go over it with her. After a moment of silence, she smiled sheepishly, "Well... Not officially, but I would love to help!" It might give her some experience, and experience was good to have!
"Ah, no! Yin Cang! Um," She looked a little worried when he begun edging towards the door, but continued to hold the egg out towards him with a smile, trying to at least look and sound reassuring, "Grabbing a purple ball meant that you won this! Congrats! You didn't do anything wrong at all!"Ol-j-man SINCE THE ODDS ARE LOW, I changed it so that you can try a total of 4 times!

"Yes, is paper," Mort answered with a nod, smiling a bit at her nickname; Morty was a new one. With a small grunt he got back up on his feet, dusting himself off should any stray web had gotten stuck. "Should look at, m-methinks, if like writing. Like a-active students. Could show around if you want?"
Then, espying that Yin had won a prize (so that's what the balls were for!), Mort reached over and attempted once more, producing a purple ball as well that he showed to Lizzy proudly.

Of course, it was a bit rude to be pulling Lizzy away from her own event, wasn't it? Taryn went a bit sheepish and pushed her hair behind her ear, nodding and stepping back a bit.
"Well... I could... I mean." The chimera gestured out toward the laptop, "I'll definitely look! I don't expect anything for free, though, that's silly. I can barely mend socks, actually making clothes has to be a lot harder. Maybe I could, um. Make an appointment. I'll pay you for your time...?"

Yin hesitantly reached out and took the egg, seeing as it was something that he had won and not a gift. "Thank you Miss Lizzy," he said with a small bow. Then he fled. It was just too much, too many ghouls and people and lace and...well he could always just talk to Mort later. And maybe if he ever earned some money he could repay this ghoul by purchasing something from her.

Alex had read the advertisements, but really what had drawn him here was probably the trickle of students heading in this direction that he just couldn't help but to follow. When he entered the room, his pale gaze took in the surroundings, before he noticed his good buddy Mort standing at a desk to reach into a bowl full of balls, pulling out one that was purple and holding it out to a pink haired ghoul. He didn't actually recognize anybody else in the room, so he shambled over, patting Mort on the back as brushed by him. "Hey bud, how's it going?" He said cheerfully, before reaching in to pluck out a ball himself. White? Oh well! He just tossed it back in and had a look at the different things in the room, noticing a clipboard with a list of names, which he promptly added his own to. He decided this was quite a nice idea, but he already had a suit that his mother had given to him before he'd come back to school from his house. He wondered idly if they maybe made ties however. The pink haired ghoul appeared to be busy, so he thought he should wait until she was finished before asking. Raffle list

"Oh, it's alright!" She smiled at Taryn, her cheeks turning pink at the mention of paying, "Of course I won't refuse payment if you insist-" Yes, Junko and her would need the money in the long run, after all, and it was rude to turn down a payment, but she had always been a little awkward with receiving payment from anyone for anything, "But you can help by spreading the word too, if we did well!"
The more people who know, the merrier!
"Hmmm, how about... Tomorrow evening? Or the day after?" That's when everyone would be gone, "Whatever is more convenient for you!"
Before she could say anything else, the poor nervous looking boil was out of the room, leaving Lizzy waving after him, wondering if she had done something wrong to make him feel that way.

"Of course I'll spread the word! You're too nice," Taryn nodded, clasping her hands together over her chest. Tomorrow evening is perfect. The sooner the better, right? I'm in the monster dorms! Room 316. Do you have any business cards I could spread around?" Eager? A little bit, yes. She hadn't been this excited about clothing in... ever! The ghoul bounced on her hooves again and nodded. Maybe she'd make another go at the ping pong balls, she'd never had a real minipet before...
