 "I used to." He admitted, not stopping with either the petting or the walking. En had been tiny before - even more so now, even through he knew that it was him that had changed, and not her. "Then I just screamed and screamed until Endi or Alaska found me."
Hah.
He stopped, then headed inside another 'hallway' of bookshelves. This was where more of the lore related to the gods was located, as far as Lament know. "Let's see..."

Eventually, Akakios would find a bestiary, a volume dedicated solely to ageless immortals, and Kikechum indicated that they should look there, as while there was nothing to outwardly suggest there would be anything about a drum in a tome about beasts...it was a tome about beasts! The very things that she was goddess of. There was potential for something useful to be in there. Even if it wasn't what they sought, the goddess had to admit that any information at all about her - or even her other - or anything relating to them would be more than welcome. At first, hearing the goddess' voice come from Enekpe startled him - he'd never heard a god speak through an host like that before ! - but the moment passed, quickly, and he nodded - carrying both pooka and large tome to a nearby table, setting Enekpe down on the table itself.
If anyone wanted to complain about an 'animal' on the table, well, he was a god. Certainly no one would dare to argue with him for too long.
He named the titles, one by one, until Kikechum told him to stop - and then, he read the entry itself for her.
"Beast Mother..." He mused. "That's you, isn't it ?" And a treasure...
Maybe they were on something here.

"That is," Kikechum confirmed, swishing her host's fluffy tail. She was absolutely thrilled that they'd found something, although she contained herself quite well, and even retreated to allow Enekpe back to the forefront while she pondered their findings in quiet at the back of her host's mind.
"We should go find Endi! Maybe we can find more stuff now that we know this stuff."

"Yes, just a moment..." A scrap of paper was quickly found among the mess that he had pushed aside to make room for En on the table (it seemed that Lament was not the most orderly deity in all creation) and he recopied the entry there, quickly, with the ease of one who had done a lot of it.
He didn't feel like lugging that huge tome across all the library, anyway.
With that done, both paper and pooka were regathered, and so the two went on in search of Silence.
