Vayu was glad to see that she was ok. He noticed her watch the wind and saw that she was starting to understand all of what he had been saying about listening to the wind. He was proud that she was starting to understand.
He was confused by her statement. From his understanding traits like wings were always passed on from the parents. He started to ask to make sure he heard her correctly, "You're parents don't have..." He stopped when he saw the wind catch her wings and her rise above him.
"Oh you did it," He said with excitement. "Do you think you could do it again, now?" knowing that the first lift off was the hardest.

~she looks at him and smiles yes. she flaps her wings again as a gust of wind sweeps one her and picks her up again. She giggles and flaps before slowing her wings down again and landing~ " thank you so much Vayu you are a great teacher."
~She smiles and flaps her wings and then runs around Vayu as fast as she can giggling as she gos. She makes three laps around him then slows down and faces him~ " you were asking about my parents?" ~ She smiles sweetie and watches the trees~

Vayu grinned at seeing this accomplishment. It gave him and sense of pride and a warm feeling inside. Her compliment made him blush a little. "Thank you, I had a very attentive and willing student. My first time teaching in fact I'm glad it was a success. I hope you enjoy flying as much as I do." He enjoyed watching her excitement as she ran around him.
Vayu thought for a second, "Awe yes your parents....they don't have wings? I was wondering who you inherited your wings from than."

~she bows to him~ " your quite welcome. Thanks, I hope so too. I want to fly everyday now." ~She smiles at hi, she saw him turn a litttle pink, she chose to ingore it, even if she didn't know what a blush was. She feels the wind and wiggles her wings they were a little sore and she thought she would leave the flying for tomorrow and let her wings rest.~
~She smiles and shakes her head~ No, my siblings don't either, I'm the only one that has wings. I don't know, couldn't be my grandparents or great grandparents either. my daddy saids they are gift."

Vayu smiled at her eagerness for flight.
He looked over the strange looking foal again and than looked to where her father was sleeping. His brown camouflaged him pretty well but Vayu could tell he was a regular Soquilli with none of the features or coloring that Furi has. The whole thing was rather confusing, but he did not feel it was his duty to say much on the matter as Furi seemed to be well loved. "I believe wings are a gift too. You will see so much and be able to go places others cannot. And you will always have the wind as a friend." He smiled with a sense of pride at his own wings.

~She smiles " that is good to always have one friend, are you a friend Vayu?" She smiles and watches her closely theen she wiggles her wings then looks around. " Do you know where I can get a drink?" ~ and smiles again, before wiggling her wings again, she wiggled them to keep herself cool when she was starting to overheat. Water on the other hand seemed to cool her down quickly~

Vayu had not expected her question and he had to think about his answer. The little mare was actually the first he had meant since leaving his home. He had known most of his friends for many years. He smiled at the young filly. "I would say this is the beginning of a friendship, so yes I am a friend." He warmed to think of his first friend. "I shall have to come back and visit you."
"Now let's see about that drink" Vayu lifted himself in the air high above Furi's head to see where the closest water was. He spotted a small stream pretty close by. He came back to the ground in front of Furi. "Fying is also good for seeing where things are. There is a stream just over there" he pointed with his nose the opposite direction of the sleeping father.

~she smiles at him~ " I'm glad you are my first friend! I hope that we stay friends when I'm a grown up." ~She smiles again watching him she was glad that she had a friend the world could get alonely.~
~She watches him lift off the ground, watching him she smiles again , she watches him land then points the way. " I will have to keep that in mind when I want to see something." ~she watches point with his head and then starts walking in the way that he pointed~

"It is always good to have another friend. I will always remember you and I hope our paths cross again." Vayu said this sincerely as he wondered about the future.
He watched her head towards the water and figured that was his cue to be on his way. He would never forget his first teaching lesson...and hope that he would have many wonderful students like Furi in the future.
Vayu took flight, hovering as he came to Furi. "I guess this is Bye for now, if you ever need a friend I am always listening to the wind and you would be surprised the messages it can send. Bye Furi"
With that he took flight smiling at Furi as he departed. It was a happy day and the wind rusted through his feathers with a new warmth.

Furi watches go it was nice that she got to met such a nice stallion as Vayu she smirks and hopes that she will get to meet him again as adult.
