Try your very best.
Okay, Beni! I'll try! I'll try really hard!
The blue haired lieutenant dropped down low to the ground and skidded on the sides of his feet, gaining traction on the textured floor for a quick 180 turn. He tried to imitate the ninjas in the anime he loved to watch and bent to get as aerodynamic as he could. Speed was all about momentum and minimizing resistance. He knew Beni could beat him no matter how hard he tried, but Bazzite had another goal in mind - he wanted to protect his captain and his general at any cost. So he had to get better. He had to, somehow!
And only through practice would this be achieved.
Bazzite took to running in strange patterns, suddenly changing direction at the last second to take a swipe at his captain. There would have been no way he could actually hurt Benitoite unless it was through his sheer momentum. The boy had no muscle mass except that which was used to propel him. A turnabout, another pass, another attempt at a swipe. Bazzite was getting tired, but he took that as reason to keep going. Keep trying! You can't let Beni down!

As he swayed in spot, watching the others quick movements and how he changed course he smiled proudly. That was a good tactic, especially with the speed the boy could get, he would certainly be a menace to those senshi who were at Bazzite's own level. He wanted to praise him but failed to do so, the boys quick turn and swip caught him off gaurd.
Wiping at his cheek he managed to clap once. "Good, that's better than I expected. Do it again, I want you to be the best you can be." Calling out to the other. What would Painite think when she saw Bazzite next? Would she notice the changes he was hoping would take place? He was hoping to give the other more confidence and empower him, give him the ability to defend himself...and others if need be.
"When you get tired let me know, we'll break or call it a day." He didn't want the other to tire himself too much, he knew this was likely a work out for the other since he didn't seem big on this training so he figured it new for Bazzite. Again he was caught off guard and was rubbing his cuffed ear. Ok, so maybe he also helped this time in letting Bazzite hit him, he wanted the other to hit him though. He needed to show him it was ok and give him confidence. "Good!"

His body suddenly said okay! That's enough! and the lieutenant happily obliged, slowing down to a trot and then a full stop in front of his captain. The boy's cheeks were red from exertion and he was breathing fairly heavily, sweat glistening on his brows. He was flying at a breakneck pace for as long as he could keep it up. Beni didn't even look winded.
How was he supposed to get to captain?
"I... I think... I'm all done now Beni." he wheezed and leaned heavily on the shorter boy. "It's hard, this... trainin' stuff..." Bazzite felt exhausted and his limbs were made of lead Jell-O at this point. Would they be proud? Would they have to do this again? Probably, but at least they got some good ideas out of it. Training could be customized, right? "....can we go home now... Beni? I think... I think I need a nap..."

Having only had to dodge the attacks, rather than doing all the running around, it shouldn't be a wonder over why the Captain wasn't worn out. He hadn't done much, and he was over the energy use it took to teleport with someone else. Nodding to Bazzite he smiled, petting his hair gently.
"Of course, let's walk up, they always say after running a bit of walking is good." It's what they did in gym class at school, after running a mile on the track they were forced (told) to walk a lap. He wasn't quite sure why, he'd never asked or looked into it, but he knew there had to be a reason for it.
"I'm proud, you did well Bazzite. We'll work more on things, I think our General would have been happy had she been here."
Once they'd gotten up into the citadel he'd grabbed hold of Bazzite and held him close as he teleported them back to the same alley he'd teleported them from earlier in the day.
