Dao Ye Shou gave a smile as the boy cuddled his side, and he gave him a smile, returning to drinking his tea as the boy loved on the take care of the flower. It would seem as though he were the best one to do so and he doubted highly that there was any risk to its safety when with someone that was born in the same manner as this little flower child would be. It was because of Qiu Shui's sweet and gentle demeanor that the rest of the night was as relaxing as it was for Dao Ye Shou who was used to spending his nights going about his rather dangerous job. He had never thought that spending so much time just chatting, or even just sitting quietly, while drinking tea would be something so enjoyable. He was sure that it was due to the company alone that allowed for him to enjoy something that was normally so mundane.

It was a few hours after the man had arrived that he was preparing himself to head back out into the world. Tying his weapon into place at his side, pulling on his cloak to hide himself and his identity from the world, looking down at the young one that had spent the evening with him he gave a smile, "I thank you for taking such good care of me, Qiu Shui." He murmured, "I hope that we are able to spend more time together in the future, if you will have me, of course." He had enjoyed himself, even when the adorable Qiu Shui had ended up dozing off against him as he enjoyed the tea and the scent of the dendrobium that came off of the boy, it was a rather nice night that did make the man want to come back again, perhaps he would see about visiting again once he peony scented lotus had bloomed into a child like the one he'd spent the evening with.

The lotus was picked up and tucked away into his cloak to keep it warm and safe before he leaned over to give Qiu Shui a kiss on the top of the head, "Dream of me." He said in a whispered tone, making it hard to tell if he were joking or not, before he turned to head out of the room. He was feeling good, energized, and wanted to do something for the boy that had given him such a nice and enjoyable evening. It was due to this that the first thing he did was go out to find a place to get Qiu Shui something nice, a little trinket to remember him by, and delivered it to the brothel before he was on his way. He had work to do, had put it off for long enough, and he would see about completing that work before he came back to this particular place. The trinket would be given over to Qiu Shui come morning, he had asked for it to be such, not wanting to wake him over the the present.

By the time he got the present, a pretty hair pin made of gold and jade in the shape of a dragon, Dao Ye Shou would be long gone, having left the city under the cover of night to return to his normal life and the duties therein.
