With his best old person impression he followed her, pulling his lips over his teeth to look like gums, "What was that little missy?" He hunkered and wobbled pretending to be using a cane, "Bah, whipper snappers these days!" Ending the charade he chuckled and greeted the bouncy red headed teller. Looking back over his shoulder at Chad he grinned, "Dont mind Ell, he always does this. You can find cool imported candy and stuff here too, and shirts and hats....whatev. Some of it looks cool i think." The sound of his talons picking up in his ears, however Gabe not really caring.

Elliotte pondered the floor that was a story and a half below him. Struck by an idea he back a few feet away from the rail and dashed toward it. Once close enough he used his hand as leverage and vaulted out into space.
Ara looked up just in time to see the vault. "Elliotte!" she yelled, dropping the book she was holding and running out of the store to look over the railing. She was just in time to see him finish a flip, land on his feet, stumble, roll, and stick in a crouch with a grin on his face.

Chad laughed lightly at Gabe's old man impression. He then glanced at Ell again and shrugged. "Imported stuff.." He repeated to himself, head tilting when he came to an aisle with a bunch of anime character accessories. Some of them were quite odd. Crazy hats and gloves, and a whole slew of pendants, among other things. "People actually walk around in these?" He asked, picking up a particularly large and wild hat with long gray hair attached. He looked up quickly when Ara yelled, bolting after her as well, not seeing what had happened. When he reached the railing, he looked down and his eyes widened in surprised. The guy seemed unhurt. "Show off!" He hollered down to the nightmare with an amused smirk.

Gabes ears twitched towords Elliote just in time for Aras shout and ran out after Chad, gripping the railing and staring intently. He was only there long enough to see him stick the crouch. Giving him the finger he laughed heartily and started down the stairs nearby. "Cmon guys!" Zooming down, his chains jingling he paused where Elliotte was, himself panting and excited. "Hoshit bro, what the hell did you just do? Youre not a bird you know!" He popped him one on the shoulder, simoultaneously inspecting him for injuries.

At Chad's holler he looked up with a you-know-it grin. When Gabe got to him he laughed as he stood. "People say cats always land on their feet right? Decided to test the theory. Man that was awesome!"
Ara raced down the stairs on Gabe's heels. when she made it to Elliotte she stood toe to toe with him. "What the hell did you think you were doing?!" she demanded. "What if you had gotten hurt? Or landed on someone? What are you trying to do, get us kicked out?" She turned and stomped away from him, the gathered crowd of people parting to let her through.

He looked over as Gabe ran for the stairs, but remained behind to watch from above a moment longer. Nearly everyone was staring at Ell now for pulling such a stunt. Gabe's bird comment caught his attention though. He cocked his head and waited for the irritated Ara to stomp off, and then vaulted over the rail himself. His arms were spread wide, flapping once to make sure that his landing was harmless. "Quicker than the stairs." He said, looking down the direction Ara had taken. "Does she usually stay mad for long?" He asked, looking back at the other teens curiously.

"Well to be honest i dont recall ever making her mad before!hehe, Nice one by the way!" He gave a big fangy grin and took off towords ara calling her. "Hey lady! Its ok! hes you know, a cat, they do stuff like that....and...well...i was here and you were here and chad in case something happened. Ara.Cmon.."He veered around in front of her so that she would run into his chest, wrapping his arms around her and closing his eyes.

Ell clapped Chad on the back. "Way to steal my thunder man! Nice one anyway though. He turned to watch Ara's path and Gabe's interception of her. "Shes not really mad. I just scared the crap out of her, is all, and she doesn't like to be startled. Gabe will calm her down." He watched as his best friend did just that.
Her eyes were filling with tears so she didn't see when Gabe stepped in front of her. She startled when she hit his chest and it took her a second to realize it was him. When she did, she put her face in his chest and just breathed. "Why do I have such a stupid brother?" Eventually she looked up at him. "I'm okay now. Thanks Gabe."

Chad laughed and shook his head, his hand giving a dismissive wave. "I didn't steal anything. You're the one with the fancy flips." He grinned playfully. "Though, I did get more air time than you." He watched Gabe calm Ara down, rather impressed that he'd done it so quickly. "That's good." The crowd was moving on, now that all the dreams were back on the ground floor. Nothing more to see, at the moment.

"See theres a good girl,"He grinned at her taking a hand to wipe her tears away, "Hes not stupid...." He thought about that a moment, "Well...for the effect, hes not stupid, just adventurous." Letting her go at her request he gave a little bow. Looking at his friends who had caught up to them he got a serious expression, and in his best detective impersonation ,"Allright civilians, nothing to see here..." He marched along the walkways giggling at himself before breaking this act as well.

"You only got more airtime because you cheat. Fancy feathers and all." He teased. "S'all good." He reassured. He stepped over to Ara and tugged a lock of her hair. "You done being a drama queen yet?"
Ara giggled at Gabe's antics before turning to glare at El. "Do you mind?" she flipped her hair over her shoulder out of his reach. "And I'm not a drama queen. I'm also not the one doing stupid things for attention. I know dad would just laugh it off but, what would mom say?" Her eyes drifted to Chad as she continued to address her brother. "Besides, what kind of impression are you trying to make?"

Lagging a little behind once again, Chad looked back up at the drop he and Elliotte had jsut made. In his eyes, it wasn't that big of a deal. He was used to being up near and above the tree tops. Ell didn't have wings at all though, so the stunt was that much more impressive and risky. Looking forward again as Ell was reprimanded, he felt a little bashful for following suit. ...Just a little though.

Gabe stuffed his hands into his pockets and whistled, amused that shes still reprimanding them. Innocently scooting along until a store caught his eye, it had alot of glass stuff and jewelry, shirts and cool statues in it. "Hey ima check this out real quick."without hesitation He sauntered inside, instantly plastered to their case of earrings, gauges, tapers, and other body jewelry goods. "Oooooh." He looked back towords Ell and called for him ,"DUDE come check these out!"

He ran a hand through his hair not really listening to Ara go on. when he heard Gabe call for him he took it as an out. "Hold on Ara." Before she could protest he was gone into the store to drool over the body candy with Gabe.
Ara stood with her hands on her hips looking after them. She shook her head and looked over to Chad. "Being around those two is really quite exhausting if I do say so myself." She offered companionably. "Sometimes I feel like their mother. Heavens knows dad doesn't do anything to discourage them."

Watching first Gabe and the Ell scurry off, he stood there without a clue as to how to respond. He glanced at the boys, looked back to Ara... and then smiled bashfully, a hand lifting to run through his hair. "Afraid I can't help you there. You'll have to talk to my sister about that. She probably feels the same way about me, sometimes."
