Ridley giggled, still holding onto the cat though now in a more relaxed grip. "There's no such thing as too much awesome or saying the word awesome," she teased, sticking out her tongue.
To the little girl, it seemed like ********* was heading back to her normal chipper self, which of course pleased her. Slowly, she sank back against the couch, arms still loosely circled around the manx' body but still just resting on her lap. "Are you going to stay a while, *********? Did you wanna watch a movie or something?" Nevermind she had been working on homework, the guardian cat was over! That was more important.

From her resting place, the feline glanced towards the television for a moment.
"...A movie is how long these days? An hour, two hours?" There was a pause as if she was trying to figure it out. When she was still unable to figure it out, the feline mentioned "...it probably would be best if I didn't stay that long. In that amount of time, I could have helped out a senshi, or perhaps made it to my next stop."
At that moment the feline stood herself up and faced the plate of cookies. She was no longer on the table with the treats, but it didn't mean she had forgotten them. "...if you want the TV on while I finish up my snack though... I wouldn't mind..." With that, she made an impressive hop to the coffee table she had been on before.

"They can be yeah," Ridley was a little slow on the uptake to what ********* was getting at until she pointed it out a few moments later. The little girl pushed her lips together in a slight frown, "well, I wouldn't wanna keep you from other stuff," even though she kind of did. Spending time with ********* was awesome, as she would have already pointed it out several times, "but it would be awesome if you could stay a while."
Of course she had to be blunt right after ********* had already said she would indulge in the rest of the cookies, leaving Ridley content enough. "Alright!" She giggled, reaching out for the remote as ********* jumped back onto the counter and turned on the television. As she settled in back on the ground where her homework lay abandoned, she flipped through a bunch of channels looking for something to watch - finally settling on the tail end of Rio.
The movie was shoved in the category of background noise though, as Ridley attention remained on ********* for the rest of the time she was in her home eating cookies.
