Ace blinked and hurried after Elle. "Gross?" He was tempted to ask her what she thought they were made out of, but he wasn't sure how she'd react to that type of question. It didn't bother him after all; but then again, he was a male, and he liked eating meat.
Ace shook his head to get as many droplets of water off it as he could before shielding his eyes from the sun and looking around. "I think there's some this way," he commented before heading off in the direction he indicated.

"Yes...meat is very gross. And I will not be eating it." Ellyria shook out her wet hair, "It makes my tummy feel all weird inside now." She frowned as she followed after her friend, "Ooo but I love berries. They are uber delicious." She nodded her head, "I think I love all kinds of berries....Strawberries..."
"Raspberries....blueberries....blackberries..."She started naming them off one at a time, all the while making her tummy growl in hunger.

Ace shook his head. Oddness, thy name is Elle. He paused a moment to gather his bearings then headed off in a path slightly off the one in the direction they had been going in. Ace was half listening to Elle's rambling, half listening for any other creatures out there.
Finally Ace couldn't take it anymore. He laughed. "Well Elle, since I don't know what berries are good to eat, and since you're housing a monster in your stomach, I say it'd be a good idea for you to lead the way."

"Oh..." Elle giggled as she looked at him, "Sure. But it depends on what kind of berry you want." She looked over at the male excitedly, "Do you want something like a strawberry or a raspberry?" She cocked her head to the side.
"I am thinking that maybe blueberries would be the easiest to find. Mostly because there is a patch that is around here that I like to travel too...But you got to promise not to tell anyone or show anyone. It's my secret stash." Elle giggled happily as she bounced as she walked.

Ace shrugged. "Since I don't eat that many berries, I'll leave it up to you to decide." If he knew what he wanted, he wouldn't have asked Elle to lead. Of course, he wouldn't voice that thought, because it might make Elle cry. And Ace couldn't stand to see her cry.
"My lips are sealed." The male mimed zipping his lips and throwing away the key.

Elle smiled at him, "Okie dokie." She bounced over into the trees of the forest. Then after about ten minutes, she walked him to her secret stash. Her tail wagging wildly behind her, she looked over her shoulder at the male and grinned. "Shhh....this is my secret stash....I've managed to keep it hidden from everyone so far." She winked her eye.
"The berries are so juicy...so ripe..." She licked her lips as she closed her eyes, "You will think you have died and gone to heaven."

Ace yawned. "I never understood that expression. How can we know what heaven is like if we've never been there." It was another ridiculous statement. How did people come up with them anyways? It boggled his mind. Ace curled up a little ways away from the bushes. He would be content watching Elle having a good time and eating what she enjoyed.

"I dunno....but it's going to be wonderful! I know it!" Elle giggled as she winked at the male then bounced over to her secret bush and nipped, knocking down some berries. When she turned to tell him to come get them she spotted him under a tree. "Are you sleepy Ace?" She cocked her head to the side then walked over to him and nudged a berry in front of him.
"Before you go to sleep you should try one. They are delicioussssssss."

"Since when am I never sleepy?" Ace asked with a grin. He stared at the berry in front of him, then back at Elle before nosing it back to her. "I'll take your word for it. I'm....not much of a berry eater."
Ace prefered meat. Just like Elle thought eating meat was gross, Ace thought eating berries was odd. Not normal. Sure, a lot of foxes at berries, but meat was good for foxes to eat. Protein and all that jazz.

Elle thought about it, and thought about it, and thought about it some more. Yep, Ace was right. He was the sleepiest fox that she had ever met. Giggling she nodded her head, "Okie dokie." She leaned down and licked the berry into her mouth and munched on it.
"Can I snuggle with you?" She looked at him cutely, "If you're going to sleep....I'd like to be close to you and keep you warm." She smiled at him.

Ace swallowed. "S-Snuggle?" What was it with Elle and snuggling? He was already feeling uncomfortable because she had licked the berry to eat it. Now she was wanting to sleep next to him? Why? It was plenty warm to Ace.
"I-I wasn't going to sleep. Not with you here. That would be rude."

"Yeah....snuggle." Elle giggled as she looked at him. Didn't he know what snuggling was? Of course he did. He had to know what it was. "Oh....I thought you were going to sleep." She smiled at him, "But you don't really have to be asleep to snuggle."
Elle giggled as she curled up next to him, laying her head on his back as she nuzzled against him. "I like to snuggle...it makes me feel all nice and warm and fuzzy inside." She beamed brightly.

Ace looked staight ahead, for fear that he might go so red her looked black if he looked back at Elle. "M-M," he cleared his throat, "me too." Definitely made him feel warm. Extremely warm. As for fuzzies, they seemed to be a million butterflies flying around his stomach. What was it about Elle that was doing this to him?

Elle smiled as she closed her eyes. Breathing in the fresh air she relaxed against the male as her tail wagged behind her. "You feel warm and snugly too?" Her voice perked up with slight excitement, "I thought it was just me." She giggled, "But it's nice to know that I'm not the only one."

"Definitely not the only one. Nope. Not at all." Ace risked a look back at Elle. Just past her he could see her tail wagging. He watched it for a moment, stomping down the urge to pounce on it like he used to do as a kit and looked back at Elle's face. "Do you s-snuggle often?"
