Thespians, Techies, Singers, Dancers they're all the same...
they do it on the couch...
with the stage manager on top...

Bit of a story behind this one... we were at lunch today and my (male) techie friend was jokingly hitting on my (male) actor friend. Neither are gay, but it was so funny XD So the techie goes over and puts his hand around the actor and says something that's supposed to be seductive. Actor looks at him funny and techie says:

What can I say? Techies know how to use their tools!

It was so great. And I automaticlly thought of this guild =P

My highschool theatre company, etc..., got shirts this year the on the front say "Momwe have something to tell you..." and on the back, "I'm a thesbian"
then a nother is "Techies use big toys"

Ooh, and also

Male thespians do it wearing make-up!

Techies do it with big wood/tools

On a related note, our choir shirts say "Choir kids do it on the risers" x3

for one, its thesPian....not thesbian.

a lot of people think of lesbian when thespian is said.
that really irritates me sometimes.

anyway, i'm off topic.

there was an ITS shirt that some of the kids in my musical theatre class have, and on the back of it, it says:

TECH
"techies practice safe sets."

that made me lol...HARD.

WARNING!: I came up with these, so they all suck!

Stage Managers make sure Thespians follow the rules when they do it.
Thespians do it for money. OR, People pay money to see Thespians do it.
Thespians improvise when they don't do it right.
Thespians have to do it even if they have a headache.
Thespians do it with whoever they're told, whenever they're told.

And last, but not least, to females:
When they do it, yes, it IS acting!
