"Oh, whoops! Sorry," the teenager apologized quickly, offering a sheepish smile as he ran a hand through his spiky hair. "You'd have thought I'd have recognized the differences between the uniforms by now. Grunt and Trainee uniforms always throw me off, though." Possibly because he had never worn either. Even though he was a grunt himself, he was much more comfortable in his shirt, jeans, sneakers, and long coat.
"Man...that sounds bad," he murmured, hearing the explanation. "When was this? And who were you attacked by?" If this guy was a Rocket, who would have attacked him? Unless maybe the events had transpired before he had joined.

Rory shrugged it off. He didn't mind being asked about his rank; he was still getting used to it himself. "Don't worry about it. They do look similar." Rory had seen the trainee uniforms himself and there wasn't much a difference between his and the trainees'.
"A bunch of Spearow got angry and chased after us. The only pokemon I had on me was Pinkie, so they outnumbered us pretty quick." Rory said staring out at where his ponyta was in the field. It looked like there was someone out there with her but he couldn't tell who. "One of them used Aerial Ace and managed to hit her pretty good."

The outside was so nice today and perhaps Cosmos could use a little sunshine and relaxation anyway, even though he hasn't been able to really "get into the action" around here...She really wished she could've gone on that raid. She didn't want to see useless or anything like that, really she didn't, but maybe she wasn't ready for something like that?
Who knows really.
Ally sighed and straightened out her skirt, then threw Comos's ball lazily, releasing the small pokemon so he could go mingle and be sociable. Instead, the pikachu attached himself to her face, something he hasn't done in a while.
"Mmmmmmmrrrrruuuuurph!!!!"
Not that flailing around would work, but Ally did it anyway, causing Cosmos to squeeze tighter. He loved messing with Ally, it was so easy to make her panic.

Rory heard the muffled shrieks before he saw where it was coming from. He looked over and saw a head of bright red hair with an odd colored Pikachu attached to it. He asked Shadow to wait for a moment before going over to find out what the Pikachu was doing to the person the hair belonged to.

Oh god WHY wont he just get off?! Didn't he know he was SUFFOCATING her?!
Damned pokemon.
Cosmos on the other hand, was having the time of his life, until he spotted some one approaching. Now, Cosmos didn't mind it when there were girls around his trainner, but the fact that this person was MALE and slowly approaching made the tiny pokemon want to growl rather loudly. So, Cosmos slid off of Ally's face, to stand in front of his trainer with a gruff:
Pika pi! [And you are WHO?]
Couldn't let just ANYONE approach his spazzy trainer now could he?

Once Rory got over to them he bent down close to the Pikachu's height. In all his time traveling he had never come across one that looked like this one did.
"What's going on with you, huh?" he asked the growling pokemon. "Attacking your trainer like that." He looked up at the trainer that had been subjected to the attack. He took in the hair that had originally caught his attention and the freckled face that had the pokemon attached to it minutes ago.
"Are you alright?" he asked her.

See now, Cosmos didn't like this human's tone. He wasn't some Pichu in need of scolding. He was a fully grown Pikachu last time he checked. Besides, didn't he know he was playing around?
Obviously not.
Cosmos was about to electrocute the male until saw something coming from Ally's hand and he instantly went for it, savoring the sour patch candy like it was his last meal. He'd deal with the pesky male later when he was done savoring this little delecacy of his. He hardly ever gets these things anymore.
Ally was glad her weird pokemon decided to be distracted for a second so she could respond to the person that seemed alright.
"Yeah, I'm fine. He does this when he wants attention..." Whats with the tall men here? this guy makes her feel like a tiny ant...Why did she have to be so short?

Rory watched as the growling stopped and the Pikachu rushed to get the treat from his trainer. He didn't care much for the look he was still sending in his direction.
He raised an eyebrow when she mentioned it was only the Pikachu's way of getting attention. He'd never seen a pokemon do anything like that before.
Rory scratched lightly at the back of his neck. "Sorry I just saw you from over there," he gestured to where Shadow was, "and it looked like he was hurting you."

Opening his eyes when she asked him about what they were doing he replied; He widened his smile
He said, in a half warning, but was careful not to make it sound too threatening, he didn't want to worry her.

At Pastin's warning Pinkie looked back to where Rory had been standing and was surprised to only see the other boy he had been talking to. She looked around and couldn't catch sight of her trainer. Where did he go? He was never too far away when they were out, not since the forest.
[P.pastin, do you see Rory?] she asked nervously.

He blinked, then lifted his head to also look over at where the two humans had been, But this time he didn't see the blond trainer.
Ears fanned forward as he glanced around to try and locate him.
Grael's voice cut off Pastin's, the large stag staring out over the grass with his head held high.

Pinkie looked over at the Sawsbuck; she hadn't heard him speak yet and was surprised when he did. She looked over where he was looking but was too small to spot the blond head of hair.
She breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you, Grael." she replied gratefully.

Silently she stalked her pray. She had noticed him when he had been talking to the other human male and had been creeping down the tree towards them when he had moved. Her face on her back narrowed in displeasure at this before she hurried down the tree and moved along the grass as stealthily as she could and moved closer to him. She gave the female human and the blue Pikachu a cursory glance but then ignored them to skitter up the mans back quickly and lightly to end up in her target. His hair.
Maiko's back face went like =) before she instantly started to mess around with it and try to get it in certain styles.

Rory felt something crawling along his back but thought it was the wind. It was fine until he felt something on top of his head. Just in case it was the wind, he ran a hand over his hair to straighten it back and felt something against his hand. He furrowed his brow and brushed it off on to the grass before turning his attention back to Ally.

The Sawsbuck responded to the thanks with a sharp grunt, not taking his eyes off of the group of humans.
Eyeing the Pikachu mostly, his frown deepening at the sight of its behavior.
That wasn't the only thing he noticed though, before too long, a Spinarak was suddenly joining the group, one that he actually recognized.
His eyes narrowed softly, letting out a snort He said, before tromping forward past the Ponyta, and toward the group.
Pastin smiled and looked back at Pinkie when she seemed to calm down, and looked realized.
Though he looked back at his team mate when the larger pokemon started walking away again.
