 Ave looked around, not sure where she was going. She looked at her Brother of bond, and shrugged. She didn't know where to go. She was just going to follow him.

They were almost there, a few more minutes and they could rest, maybe eat too. On the way, a Herald, spoke aloud about having people join the Legions, to serve Emperor Constantine IX, with promises of gold and land. It made it clear, the new ruler was raising the army. And now, the peaceful City of Ailita was invited to be part of it. Flavius didn't say anything, he didn't need to.
Pamela was inside the house, waiting for him. Nothing like fresh ale to occupy her during the wait. They would be wed soon.

James had been captured on his way to the palace and brought here. Then his captures simply dumped him and left. James found it strange. He stood up and looked around he saw some greeks but he felt... wrong... like they had been domesticated. It only made him angrier. He had changed his plan. It was to simply get greece back and keep it from rome. He looked around. The god's offer made it seem so simple. But he would not sell his soul. Ever. No matter what he could gain... Then again... in he asked for immortality in exchange for his soul the god would be broken. He would never get James soul if he was immortal. Then James remembered that nothing lasts forever, sooner or later someone would find a way to kill him and then it would be his end. So he stood strong and continued walking.

It was... different. Ave looked around, wondering what was going to happen to her. She looked over at her brother of bond, and looked around again... she some how imagined the outside world... darker. more scary. Pah. Whatever. She could kill any thing here. not that scary anymore... She heaved a sigh, and tugged at the Sky colored top she had pulled on a few hours ago.. it made her itch.

Vortex walked through the streets unsure how he'd got here, for starters he should have been blacklisted for killing the assassins in the fortress nevermind allowed to just stroll around their little city unsupervised. He walked up to a woman who was looking confused and looked around "You look like me, we should be friends" He smiled, a little of his madness showing in his eyes.

The woman turned, her gray eyes cold. After tying her horse to the post, she reguarded the man with curiosity, and a p_ssed expression. She wasn't the type to mess with. She looked ready to kick a**, What is it that you want, strange man?

"Im sorry, I thought I was pretty clear" He straightened his back for a second and relaxed, then motioned to the people around them "Sheep stay with sheep and sharks with sharks, and to me you look like a shark" He smiled, his simple way of defining things worked, for the most part "Or am I wrong?"

She understood him, people of one type stay with that type. And just to mess with him, she stated, But, strange man, the last time I checked, I was human, and not a fish, living in a mass of water. she said, and reguarded him in full...attractive, but... Well..meh. Maybe her type, maybe not.

"Really? Is that all you see?" He smiled but decided to leave it at that, he saw her as much more than human but it wasnt for him to force his opinions on others "Well, whatever, is there a tavern in this town or do you want to come with me back to rome?" He glanced around absentmindedly and counted the assassins watching from the shadows.
