It was interesting to watch another doing what had come naturally to Cricket as a child. Never the less, she was silent as the boil followed her instructions. He seemed to be doing well enough.
"Once you feel better, you may stop. In your case, any emptiness you feel in your gut will be gone before you've taken in enough." her voice was light. "And after some time of learning your signs, you will be able to simply take it as you go."
She turned away from him to get back to what she'd been doing at her desk; "Feel free to stay until you're ready. Just be warned that Ginko might try to play..." As if on cue, the Scareon jumped up onto her desk and laid down on top of Cricket's paperwork with a mewl for attention.

She told him to stay until he was ready, and he accepted the offer. Now that he was concentrating on his breathing and FEAR it was relaxing being in a place that felt mostly safe, and where he was obviously welcome in his natural form. So he stayed and relaxed, working at his FEAR from time to time until he no longer felt hungry.
When he could finally take the stillness no longer he went back toward the corner of the room and reverted back to his more humanoid form, noting the pleasant lack of hunger in this form as well. He made his way back toward the desk, trying to decide what he would say to the ghost. It would be foolish to say that he owed her, or offer up something, but she had done him a great service by teaching him.
He stood next to her desk for a moment in silence before putting his fist against his open palm and giving her a low bow. "I very much appreciate your time and the gift of knowledge that you have bestowed upon me Nurse Cricket." He straightened and gave the scareon and quick and light pat on the head before he began edging toward the door. "I shall be diligent in the practice of this new technique."

Cricket didn't smile, simply watching the mannerisms of the boil with a certain curiosity as she leaned on her hand. Hmmmm.
"That's good. Also, please don't forget to take care of yourself. As much fun as fighting is, the body will take only so much abuse before I can no longer fix it..." Her eyes trailed over to the photo on her desk - three students, huddled together, one looking horrified, dwarved by two older girls. Three very distinct colors - Green, Blue, and Red.
Ginko mewled at the sudden petting, nearly following Yin out the door as he edged away from the nurse. Mew, mew, mew!
He'd likely follow down the hallway if allowed.

"I shall keep that in mind Nurse Cricket," he bobbed his head at her before reaching down to pet Ginko again, giving him a light and careful scratch behind the ears before turning to all but flee down the hallway.
The nurse had seemed okay, but even as he escaped it was as if he could still feel her phantom touches, both physical and the sense of her FEAR filling him. He would not hesitate to visit the nurse's office and it's haunting faculty again if necessary, but no more often than that.
Beautiful.
