To be completely honest, the fear of having my gentials touched is worse than my fear of dying, because I do not fear dying at all. I might see the practitioner nurse later, not right now since my period has just started so it would screw up any information givable...I will try but I can't make any promises, it being a female would make it a little easier but not completely...

You can request that a nurse be present if that makes you feel any better.

One thing though...I'm a minor (16)...I'm also a cutter (trying to stop), I know there is doctor-patient confidentiality, but could the doctor tell my parents? I know guidance counslers could and I was just wondering...

It depends what state you live in.
But what you can do is, when you make your appointment, just ask the nurse how the doctor/patient confidentiality works and if you would be protected. If she says that it's possible for the doctor to tell your parents, you are right there and you can tell her to "nevermind" on the appointment.
