Just hoping was not enough, Senka knew, but it was up to these wolves to make the changes themselves. Perhaps this female would be moved to action one day. She certainly had the right mindset, if only she could find the drive and confidence she needed. Of course, it did not hurt that Senka was giving a little push here and there throughout the pack, either...
"Very well," she agreed as she rose at last to her paws and stretched languorously. "I will meet this stranger who has been seeking one such as myself."
She glanced at Isobel. "It would not hurt to think on these matters as you have said, and perhaps discus them with one or two others who feel as you do, or would at least be open to the idea."

Ah, of course, because she knew so many others who shared her beliefs. She didn't want to laugh out loud, per se, and instead gave a soft snort, shaking her head and replying, "First I will need to find those wolves. I do know of one, a male, who is very dear to me - but it will take time to learn the interests of my Sisters. Luckily I am still young!"
She did laugh for her own small joke, in a way that was as much for her own benefit as it was anyone else's. It was a good way of calming down, though she knew this issue would continue to pull at her fur until she figured out a way to find that good and honest balance between the sexes. Call it a life goal, then, that she would either solve - or die trying. She found her own feet and swung into a casual walk along the river, wondering if perhaps the plum wolf might have some ideas to share on the matter, as well.

Moshe wasn't sure he liked waiting. It made him feel nervous, and jumpy, as if each fluttering bird or grasshopper amongst the bushes might be that teal wolf returned with news that might not benefit him at all. Like... if she were to show up with her warriors, and let it be known that he was a barrier-breaker. That he had trespassed.
He could be torn to shreds.
Uneasy and uncomfortable, he found himself pacing bitterly alongside the riverside. There were fewer trees and bushes to contend with, and he could make a quicker escape should the need arise... though he did still hold some sort of faith that he would not be completely screwed over, and that the teal girl would do as she promised. Promises were sacred, and were not to be broken.
He shouldn't have been so quick to make promises he wasn't sure he could keep. Or maybe he was a fool for reading too deeply into a promise to keep an eye out for the red-eyed wolf, and should have been a bit more lenient with his search. He shouldn't have been seaking her so earnestly. Yet, he didn't think it was in his nature to do otherwise. If things didn't seem promising, he could always leave.
He didn't really want to leave, though. Not yet. Not quite yet.

Senka smiled and shook her head at the other female. Perhaps it would be difficult to find anyone who thought as she did, but surely it would not be impossible to find some who were at least open to change.

On they went, further along the river, until at last she caught sight of something large and purple. So, this was the male. What a flighty-looking thing. Wold he run away if she moved too fast? A little grin spread across her maw.
Well. Best see what he wanted with her.
"You are looking for me, wolf?" she said when she was close enough to be heard without yelling.

Isobel was very deliberate in brushing against the shrubs as they approached the spot where her mysterious accquaintance prowled, knowing he was easy to startle and not wanting to make this meeting any more stressful on him than it needed to be - it was curious, how badly he took to unannounced arrivals, and she surely didn't need him sprinting off to lands unknown. Still, she was glad that Senka spotted him first. With so many things to think about, she almost missed him.
Which was silly, because he was possibly the biggest target she'd ever had the luck of trying to find.
Suddenly, and with a bit of effort, Moshe froze mid-step. It wasn't that he hadn't heard the approaching wolves, or that he was particularly surprised by their arrival. No, it was that the moment he turned his head to see who called out to him that he felt a sapping of both strength and coherence. How could this not be the one he was looking for? This wolf was one who exuded an air of easiness, as though she had the situation under control, and it was, to say the least, intimidating.
"Er - ah - yes... and no, maybe -" he stammered hopelessly, planting his hindquarters firmly to the earth so that he might not feel the need to escape so terribly. "Sorry. I mean I am looking for you, but only because someone else is - if you are the red-eyed one from the North."
What an incoherent fool he was. Embarassed by his own tongue-tied nature, he gave a grimace and looked away. He was no messenger, and this would surely be the last time he ever took it upon himself to willingly search out strangers.

So nervous! What an amusing male, to be so intimidated by little ol' her. If she did not have business with him, or rather, if he did not have business with her, she would be tempted to tease him and see how much he could take before he was completely incoherent. Oh, who was she kidding? She was still extremely tempted to do just that. Would that be terribly wicked? Maybe she could just tease him a little?
With a herculean effort, Senka attempted to exercise some self-control.
"I am from the north," she affirmed, refraining from pointing out that she was very obviously red-eyed and he ought to be able to see that much for himself. "However, I doubt I am the only one with red eyes who lives there."
She cocked her head and peered at the male.
"And what is it you have so generously offered to tell me for this 'someone else' you speak of? If I am, indeed, the one they are looking for."

"Ah, yes, what I have - I've promised to tell..." Moshe started, stopped, and then began again several times before he could spit even that much out, growing grim and bothered even without help from the red-eyed wolf. "Simply that - if I were to cross paths with one like yourself at any point in my travels -that - that I would pass on the message. Someone's looking for you."
How incredibly helpful. Even now he as criticizing himself, puffing up his chest so that he could spit out, "A wolf with fur like falling snow is on a search for her comerade, perhaps a family member. I did not learn the relations. She seemed to be under the impression that you - or one like yourself - had perished under the snow. I accidentally mislead her to believe this, at first. That is why I... well, offered to look, too. I felt bad. You seemed important to her."
Thus went the great soliloquy, a massive speech on his part that he could have felt proud of - if her weren't too busy scuffing his toes in river mud.

Eloquence, thy name is Moshe. Really. The poor thing was so shy that he could hardly spit out the words. Was it cruel to find that so amusing? Though his message was not the most helpful, it at least got a bit of the point across. A wolf with fur like falling snow? Someone to whom she was important? Someone who might be her family?
Ridiculous.
Whatever family she had was long dead, their bodies lost beneath the frozen peaks of a distant mountain. That someone was claiming to be her family? It made her...angry.
When she spoke her usual jovial manner held a cool undertone, dangerous, though barely noticeable. "Did this wolf give a name?"

Moshe shook his head heavily, knowing that eventually he would have hit that wall in conversation. "She did not mention her name - nor did I ask for one. That was very foolish of me. I can only say that she was blue eyed, perhaps your age, and reacted terribly to my story of wolves buried in the snow. Very... personally."
He didn't want to go through that story again, in case the storyteller had some sort of link to it as well. He couldn't be certain that his words would be mistaken, again, and he didn't want to go through that particular mess again any time soon - much too coincidental for his taste. "But other than that, I've very little else to pass on. I am - not - not usually one for casual talk."
As if that wasn't obvious. But it was an apology of sorts.

Senka did not really believe in coincidence, so the idea that this stranger who was hunting for her was not fond of wolves being buried in the snow was something that she could not ignore. Although she was not convinced that they were who they claimed to be, it was an undeniable fact that they knew about her. If it was not from personal experience, then they had certainly gone to a lot of trouble to gather the information.
Senka did not like this. She did not like this one bit.
It was also clear that this male would not be of any more help. He had passed on the message, for all the good it did, and he had told her what little he knew about the female who was looking for her. Not much to go on. Of course, as a storyteller who had been traveling as long as she had, Senka was perfectly capable of tracking down this stranger should she be so inclined. However, she did not think that she would want to do so. Why look for this pest when it was already searching for her? She would not want to make things easier, nor did she particularly want to meet this stranger. In fact, she would be happy to forget about the whole thing.
"I see," she said, voice neutral. "You may consider the message passed on."
