"Classes, classes... To be honest, I hadn't looked at them," He replied with a dismissive wave of his hand; it's not that he didn't care about his studies- Okay, it's true, he didn't really care; he would probably do enough to get the elders from withdrawing him and sending him back home, "I do know that the school offers a wide selection of classes though, so I'm sure I'll find one that I'm interested in, sooner or later... How about yourself?"
He chuckled at the 'E' formed on the table before standing up, "I'll go get our lunch for us then, if you'll excuse me." Joining the end of a not-too-long queue, he patiently waited for his turn before ordering; there was really no telling if they got the orders right, seeing how they... Looked almost the same to him, but it was school cafeteria food.
And he had heard things about school cafeteria food.
"Darling, by the way," She tilted her head to look at the ghoul, "Ssspeaking of cafeteria food, I had heard thisss rumor about the food coming to life? How true issss thisss?" Back home, the cooked food... Stayed as cooked food. musicaloner7 Aw, that's not it. :'D It's more of me being distracted with all the things. OTL

It was a little surprising to hear that the boil hadn't settled on his classes yet, but that also held out hope that perhaps she could assist him in finding something that caught his interest! Smile lax, somewhat giddy by the idea of aiding a fellow new student, her hands retracted so that the backs of her palms could serve as a prop for her chin, "Oh yes, I've found quite a few I'm interested in. I've been excited about them since my parents brought me a brochure. The options seem endless~!" her voice held a clear hint of delight. "I'd be more than happy to introduce you to a few, if you'd like~ It all depends on what sort of things you like."
But she was rambling perhaps a bit too much. Smiling sweetly, she gave a polite little nod as he went on to get their lunches, "Thank you~" my was he friendly fellow. A bit like the other reapers she befriended as of late. Maybe it was a trait of their kind?
The ghoul's attention was grabbed by the lovely reptile, masked eyes drifting down to find those beady dark ones. With the question asked, her lips spread a little more, and parted just slightly to give a very ghouly-like chuckle, "Yes, there have been occasions of the meal's not being entirely..." she paused, trying to search for a word, "executed." another chuckle bubbled up. "I've not come across it yet, but... it's much like a surprise, I think." Though whether it was a good one or not depended on the meal... But this made her curious in return, "Do you prefer your own meal live, or already finished fully, Biskoto?" Since she was a snake, she assumed the primary, but... who knew!

Carrying the food holding their food back to the table, he placed one of the Jollymeals in front of her, and the other one in front of his own seat. The tray was then returned, before he sat down again, continuing their conversation from before, "Oh? And what are some of the classes that had caught your attention? I'm afraid that I do not have an... Area of interest."
Which was what made picking a class rather difficult to begin with.
"Issss it a good sssort of ssssurprissse, or a bad sssort of sssurprisssse?" She asked, eyes widening in curiosity, "I like my mealssss live!" She nodded before pausing, frowning - as much as a snake could manage - as she tilted her head, "Although... 'Freshly squeezed to death' would be a more accurate description."

Dragain so late~ ; ; my apologiesss. "Thank you~" she chimed politely as her food was placed before her, sitting up a little straighter, masked dark eyes staring curiously at the meal. She did have to admit... it was sort of like a fun game, seeing what you got. She wasn't too picky, really... more partial to plant food, bugs, or fermented meats. But it was rare that she'd turn away a meal.
As her meal was revealed it showed something... roasted... to a crisp. Practically burnt, and floating in a small bowl of dark murky liquid. There were, what looked like, veggies, and some herbs floating around. The burnt... thing, resembled that of a rodent of some sort. Which strange enough made her think of her good friend's mice that followed him about... but this was much too large... and it's mouth was still agape as if it'd been in mid-screech before being slaughtered. The moths naturally fluttered around it curiously, perching on the edge of the flimsy bowl, some taking to the charred body. Looking back up to Thanatos though, she remained smiling just as she had been prior, "Well, let's see.... I must admit I am quite interested in learning the art of healing, or at least being aware of ailments. First Aid 1o1 has caught my attention most of all. I think it would be of use in plenty of instances." A spoon was lifted to gently push around some of the liquid, seeing just what was bobbing about in there... "Arts and Crafts sounds interesting too. It's common in my family to take to an art. Piano I've been able to take on, but I do enjoy broadening my horizon." It was interesting though... Surely there was something that intrigued the boil. Something he liked to do. There were so many options and genres! "Perhaps if you take a venture along the student handbook it might aid you in finding something you wouldn't mind partaking in?" another idea popped up, "Or sit in a few classes to test them out~" Her spoon lifted as a moth stationed onto the handle, just at the edge of the scoop that held the liquid from the soup... peering into the reflective surface.
The reptile got another giggle out of the ghoul, causing her attention to once again rest on the lanky creature, "Well.... I suppose that varies from person to person~" she chimed with a playful tone, "Or creature to creature. I think it can be quite interesting. I'm not one to pass up such a surprise." lifting the spoon further, she took a dainty sip at it, just barely pouring it between her lush lips, indeed demonstrating the proper etiquette instilled in her from her family. "What might be your delicacy of choice, Biskoto?"
