"Well sleeping peacefully out here is a bit of an impossibility given how the flowrs like to break into songs." Granz answered as he began to navigate his way out of the garden petting a couple lilies that hummed in response along the way~ "In all honest, I don't stay asleep long despite me always falling into naps." he added blushing slightly~ "And the training my family puts me through when I'm home doesn't help either. A lot of my family train to become skilled knights for royalty and my own dad made sure to teach me to function on strictly light napping."

The student stared down at the kendo sword that he had grown accustomed to having attached to his side in thought~"Actually yeah. I think it would be awesome to be one of those knights that you hear about in fairytales on another world or something." Granz answered excitedly, as he smelled a sunflower close to his height that blushed in response~ "We train in the old ways and even work on overcoming modern weapons and tactics while still retaining traditional equipment and techniques. Though the training is a lot of work and despite being captain of our schools Kendo Team, I'm still nowhere near being at even my mothers level of skill." he added as he spun around to face Yamina~

"Umm can I ask you the same question about wanting to be an artist?" normally he wouldn't be involved in other peoples affairs but his curiosity had gotten the better of him~ "I hope I'm not being rude with that question. If you don't want to answer you don't have to."

"Well it's certainly not an easy thing to do but it feels great to be able to live like that despite the technologies and whatnot that run most of the other worlds." Granz explained happily~ "When any of our tribes get visitors they often talk about how its like being in a medieval fair or something." he laughed slightly as he lead Yamina out of the garden~ "Maybe during a vacation or something you should take a mirror out to the Outer Highlands? You as an inspiriting artist might be able to pick up some old style techniques." he offered as he pluck one last near dead violet and munched on it~

Granz waited til he finished the last flower before speaking again~ "Well todays our dayoff so I really had nothing planned other than maybe going to the gym to traina bit more. The whole thing with Miss Oliva's machine really put me and the team behind our schedule." He explained as he drew the wooden sword at his waist twirling it gently in his hands like it was always there from birth~ "But we don't have practice today and I'm sure some of them will be getting their rest if not all of them. But that won't be till later when it's cooler out." he went on~

"Though I was thinking of checking up on some of the newer plants in the schools garden near the edges.You said you were going to get some food? You could go eat with your friends and maybe come back out later? I get told I need to hang out with more people lately." he asked blushing faintly~

"Well I'm certain the one who told me that would agree with you." Granz mumbled as he held his head slightly low~ Realzing quickly his appearence he quickly forced himself to cheer up~ "You know eating lunch outside probably wouldn't be a bad thing right? We can enjoy this wonderful weather and the freetime away from the studies and schools general mayhem." he added as he began to take off towards the gardens end~ "I'll be at that little mini ledge of the schools flower fields!" he shouted as he ran down in that direction~

Once he was sure he was out of everyones sight he let out a deep breath and sat at the ledge staring down at it~ It wasn't a deep drop maybe about twenty feet at best but it was nice to star at the flowers and insects living at it's bottom from above~ "Not very many friends huh? I can relate to that." he spoke to himself as he held his head down~

"The other members of my team are a few years younger than me and they have other clubs and studies to go to all the time. Would they even care that I'm gone once I graduate?" he asked himself~ "I kow you wanted me to make more friends mum. But doing something is a lot harder than saying it." he mumbled as he stared at the ledge~ There weren't as many flowers at the bottom as there were where he was sitting~ And what few there were always seemed to be looking sraight up at the flowers in the school's garden~ Just begging to belong with the others...

"Somedays it's just not right." Granz spoke outloud as he laid on his back staring at the sky~ SOme though he might've been crazy but at this school something would always listen to you~ "Mom and Dad both became great knights and heroes even. The soldiers and knights they trained in other kingdoms and whatnot are good friends of theirs and here I am struggling to just go five seconds without some accident or mishap to embaress me happening....." he grumbled as he reached his hand out to the sky~ Somewhere up in the clouds of another world, hi father was fighting for a sky kingdom with allies and friends he had known for years~ "Dad how did you do it? My goal is to be even greater than you but how do I surpass your path when I can't even get a good foot on mine?"

"More like pretty obnoxious," Yamina mumbled She looked to see if song heard her. She hopped song did not. "Yes, they are pretty, but they bite and will trip you," Yamina said in more of a warning. Yamina smilied seeing how happy song was and she looked around.

"You should visit the gardens more, they always need trimming,"

Yamina spotted the mini ledge of the schools flower gardens in the distance. "Over there, that is where I was suppose to meet up with Granz"

"Well at least the dragon snaps to, the roses at least blow pollen up your nose and chooses when to have thorns. ect." Yamina tried to explain. Yamina then looked around confused. "Renee?"
