"Jacob won't be able to come..? But..." she sighed a little, "Combat training? No...I...don't know anything..."
Following him into the room, she awed at the massive size. She watched him remove his shoes and looked down at her own heels awkwardly. She leaned against the wall as she unstrapped each of them and tossed them aside. She realized she really wasn't properly dressed for this kind of thing, and bit her lip.
"Oh, screw it...," she slipped out of most of her skirts, leaving just one short skirt, her thin leggings, and corseted top on, "This'll have to do," she laughed a little and trotted out to join Isaiah.
"So...now what?"

Izzy looked to her quizically when she said 'screw it' and he turned away from her quickly as she began removing layers of her skirt. He wasn't sure what she was doing until she appeared in front of him in a much shorter skirt and leggings. He tried to not show how read his face was as he thought she'd been pulling a Jacob on him. "o-okay...you...could have...just changed or soemthing...but...no matter now" he decided and debated what to teach her first. "a-alright then. Let's start with some basics then..." he began showing her some different techniques. Simple things, like how to properly punch someone, or block a hit, how her feet should be posed and where her arms should be....

"This is okay, right? I just thought all that other stuff would get in the way," she laughed a little.
Liv listened intently as he showed her simple things. She didn't know there was a certain way to do these things, like how to hold your fist so you don't break fingers when punching. She felt a little awkward at first since she was a girl after all, and had never been much for physical fights. She could throw a good slap, but beyond that, she was pretty useless. She soon picked up on things though, and gradually became more comfortable with it. She was actually excited about the fact that she might not be completely useless anymore.
"You sure know a lot," she put her hands on her hips as she watched him demonstrate.

They'd been working for a good long while on teaching Liv the basics of fighting when he decided to show her one last simple move. They were both tired out. They'd had a long stressful night and day and could use a good rest. He decided they should break after he taught her how to break out of a hold, but he statement took him by surprise. She'd been pretty quiet most of their training session, with the exception of asking him to show her something again. "hmmm?" he stopped mid lesson and looked to her, "well yeah...i suppose so...these are just the basics...i'm actually not very good with these sorts of moves myself...i'm a much better sword fighter...these moves were things Jacob taught me...and I taught him how to use a blade...i'm much better at that...and he is much better at this...but we balanced one another out" he oxplained. "You are picking things up much faster than I did though...but that is probably partly due to Jacob's 'teach as I beat you up' approach..." he said with a small laugh. "I adopted his approach for teaching him about sword fighting...so it was well worth the few bruises he gave me"

"You're always so modest," she smiled, "Oooh, sword-fighting, hm? I wonder if I'll be able to do anything like you and Jacob...it would be so great to learn to use a sword! Uhm...is there anything else before we hit the hay?" she tilted her head, asking.
She too was quite tired, but she did have one small request before they stopped for the night. It didn't really have anything to do with fighting, it was just something she had always wanted to learn. She wondered if Isaiah even knew how, but waited to see if there was anything else he had to teach her first.

Isaiah gave a stretch and shook his head. "nope...we can call it a day unless you have any questions about what we went over or anything... i think it is safe to say that you can at least hold your own in a normal person to person fight now...i'll have Jacob teach you more advanced moves later...and i'll start you on swordsmanship tomorrow if you'd like" he offered

"Really?" her eyes lit up before she cleared her throat and fidgeted a little, "Well...there is one thing...it doesn't have anything to do with fighting...do you know how to do a cartwheel? It's just that- Well...I never learned, and I always wanted to learn how.."

(Pft....i feel your pain liv...i can not do one either crying )
Isaiah blinked a few times as he processed ehr request. "...a cartwheel?...." he was trying to remember what it was, and anyone watching would have seen the light click. "oh...a somersault. Yes...I can do one..." he looked around the room and took off from a somersault into a double back spring and landed easily enough not so far away from her. He jogged back over to her. "its about keeping momentum going really. Your center of gravity just does the rest for you. I can try teaching you how to do one tomorrow if you'd like" he suggested. He was still nervous about her wearing such a short skirt while training...and more worried about what others would say about him if they saw...they might classify him with Jacob...and that...would be the end of him.

(( Yeah, I LEGIT can't do one XD I never learned when I was little and I'm too scared to try now. D: Lol. ))
Liv watched in awe as he did his little trick of agility and gymnastics. She could never do anything like that she knew, and she applauded enthusiatically, "Bravo~! I could never...tomorrow...? Alright...well I guess it can wait. I wouldn't want to wear you out or anything," she winked and laughed, teasing him with a light punch on the arm.

It was a day later, and Liv had been told to meet Isaiah in the training room again. She was excited, because he had promised two things: To teach her to cartwheel, and to teach her swordsmanship. She came much more well prepared than previously. She was wearing simple black leggings and a grey tank, with legwarmers and some gloves and wristbands. She even had a cute headband on her head complete with a large bow. She trotted into the room, smiling.
"I'm here! I came wearing something much more appropriate today," she laughed, "It'll be a lot easier for me to train now."

Isaiah tried to stifle a chuckle as Liv came in, exciteda bout her attire. "...hair ribbons and wristbands and leg warmers...aren't exactly necessary for what we are doing...but i'll give you that it is better than a skirt or a dress" he offered. Something moved near Isaiah's foot and both he and liv looked to see what it was. A giant furry round ball looked up at them and Izzy sighed. "sir callen what are you doing in here?" he asked the ball as he picked it up. It unrolled to reveal itself as being a cat.
"mow...." she meowed lazily and had a bored look on her face. Her tail hung limp and unmoving as Izzy held her out to get a better look at her. She'd been bored lately. Jacob had been gone a lot recently and she was feeling neglected. Her left ear twitched in annoyance as Izzy held her.
"....she's never happy when Jacob ignores her" izzy explained to Liv as he set the giant beast of a cat down. She just lay there lazily, moping about at being neglected. Izzy sighed. "oh...I don't know if you've met her before...this is sir callen...she's our cat...." he explained.
Callen glanced up at liv and flicked her tail once in aggravation. She stretched out a bit, digging her claws into the soft padded floor before pulling herself up and shaking out her bushy soft fur. "mow..." she meowed again and her bright golden eyes that matched those of a noah glared at the girl.
"...be nice callen" Izzy warned the kat and he walked over to pick up the two wooden swords he'd brought for liv and him to use in training.

"Don't laugh at me, I at least want to look cute while learning this stuff!- Is that a kitty? Ohhh, she's so cute!" Liv squealed and plopped onto the floor.
"Kitty kiiitttty...come heeerreee," she made kissy noises, "She belongs to you and Jacob? Awh, she's so cute. I love kitties!"
Liv couldn't take her eyes off the cute cat, continuing to squeal and fawn over her.

Callen twitched her ear again and let out a low mean grumble of a kitty growl. Her tail swished on the floor and fish hooked as she grew annoyed with this strange girl making strange noises and faces at her. Why was this girl with her isaiah anyway? she looked to the boy with a strict warning in her eyes.
"just ignore her...she's in a foul mood. Jacob's her favorite and she doesn't much like anyone who takes me or him away from her. Besides...we have training to get to" he offered and held out the wooden sword for her. "if you manage to hit me while we fight later...i'll teach you how to do a cartwheel" he offered her incentive.

Liv frowned and pouted at the kitty's grumpiness, "Oh..."
"What? But you said you'd teach me already. That's not fair!" she stood up though and snatched the sword, whacking it quickly in his direction, even though they obviously hadn't started yet.
"You won't hurt me, right?"
