 As sad as it would be to think of a world without the most pleasant little Pooka...Endiovar did not want to send her somewhere unprepared for what may happen. Like being mauled, attacked and or eaten.
"It's a possibility that I do not want you to be unprepared for. Yes, it's possible they might find you a delicious snack." He shook his fine-muzzled head sadly, eyes like green jewels sliding beneath the pale lids that closed over them briefly. "This is why you must only go with help. Myself...perhaps, or Yu Five Claws. He would certainly be deterrent enough to anyone unwise enough to come against him." Though really, he supposed that many of those around the Pantheon could help - anyone larger than say, a breadbox would be wonderful protection!

"I don't want to be a sn-snack." Enekpe gulped, her appetite temporarily ruined, and her ears drooped in a telltale sign of sadness-worry. "So you'll come with me? And you won't let anyone eat me?" She looked at Silence with trusting, pleading eyes, and her tail twitched back and forth just a little.

Her discomfiture and fear shone obvious as the sun at his words; but then so small a creature should be wary of such things! Being wary meant being aware and alert; sometimes the difference between life and death.
"Of course. I would be honored to accompany you, Enekpe. And I will not allow you to be eaten, not even a little bit." The God-in-Pooka-form spread one wing across her back, caressing gently to reassure her even as he put his pale cheek against her darker one.Meepfur Sorry for the really long delay; I also had to make a new thread for "how many dragons" as the BCP thread was too old to reply n_n It's here, in the guild as well~

Enekpe made a soft sound and huddled a little closer. She trusted that Endi would keep her safe, and she would not be eaten or nibbled upon, but it was still a scary thought that brought back some awful memories for the little pooka. "Good. I can't f-fly to get away anymore."

"Don't you worry my dear, I am fully capable of providing safe passage for you - if not by my hand alone, then by those of my compatriots. We will not let you come to harm." And his promise was his bond, he would not break it save in death - that the little Pooka may not have known, but it was a Bond that would see her safely through, so long as he was able, at her side to be a shield.

The little host was comforted, and calmed. As long as she had her friend, nothing could really happen to her, could it? "I won't be scared, then," she declared after a deep breath, raising her head. "Maybe...maybe it will be fun, too? They might even be nice."
It was good to have hope.

Endi!pooka moved closer to En and put one of his wings over her fuzzy little shoulders, hugging her against his side for a moment; she was calming and he was quite pleased. It was his words and reassurances that calmed the little creature - and now she was even being hopeful that her quest would hold fun, perhaps even new friends.
"I'm sure it could be. Who wouldn't be happy to have their Mistress back? I have no doubts but that everything will go well."

Enekpe's tail waggled a little, a sure sign that she was feeling better. She was still a bit worried, yes, but she didn't want to be worried. She wanted to think that everything would be fine, and so she repeated to herself that it would be. The pooka would likely be back to her obliviously cheerful self within the day.
She turned her head to nibble at another morsel - food always helped - and nodded as she munched. "k**e can explain everything to them. She's much better at that than I am."

It was smart of her to still hold some measure of worry and care for the situation, but that she had started feeling better about it was even better. Endiovar watched his companion as she delicately nibbled at some of the remaining food; as he did so he thought about Enekpe's quest - such a great task for such a small creature!
But she was very brave and she would not be alone - he would make certain of that, one way or another. "Mhm, that's probably for the best anyway, Kikechum will know much more about these things than even you." It certainly seemed as though the Goddess of the Animals did not share things with her host as readily as Endiovar had shared with Colin, but then each of them was different - handled the situation with their host(s) differently.

"She knows more about everything," Enekpe noted, without resentment. Pretty much everyone knew more about any given thing than she did, and she was very used to and comfortable with that. After swallowing her latest munch, she yawned, tail fluffing.

Brilliant green eyes watched carefully as Enekpe yawned and fluffed her tail; of course she was tired now! Conversation and nutrient-rich food would have made any sleepy, let alone a tiny host like the Pooka.
"Perhaps a nap is in order?" Endi settled down onto the plush pillow under their small bodies and fluffed his own tail, an open invitation for his companion to do the same. 'Rest, Enekpe. It is best to be well-rested before undertaking such an onerous task.'
Pooka!Silence tucked his head atop his snowy paws and silky hair and waited for En to settle in as well. He would watch over Kikechum's sleepy little host, lay with her for as long as was necessary for her comfort - sleeping wasn't something he needed to do, but it was still enjoyable enough that he often indulged.Meepfur I think this is a good close, yes? If you want to add that is good, otherwise I think this will work~
