It does seem that hackers and scammers are becoming MUCH more wily these days - because oldbies are getting hit surprised They know it all! That's the one thing that I don't get confused

TinyChinaDoll Wait, I was hacked in October and my account was returned. This war isn't over yet!
The moderator that checked in on the case checked also the IP addresses that logged in/out.
I had my account, with everything in it, returned by late November. Kittiara's a good witness to this, as I've contacted him with my noob before that time.
There's a good chance for a full recovery, I'd think. ^_^

So, what happened and how? Was he key-logged?
Did he click on a link from someone and was then cookie-hacked?
Did he check netstat when that happened to see the connections that he has on his compy at a particular time to see if there is an address there he does not know about?
Did he log on at work, and his computer system admin does this thing too?
If and when he gets in to his account, check the completed trades to see where things went.
Also, does he still have the e-mail that he used for the password of that account? He has to try to remember the answers to them, unless he BSed it.

Hackers don't necessarily need your Gaian password to get in.
I don't have any non-Gaia contacts listed anywhere, but I don't remember my security questions...or even the email address I signed up with. :/

It's strange that so many people are getting hacked, I just
hope that it stops soon.
I don't think it's hackers anyway, they are called crackers.
A Hacker hacks programs or websites, not gaia accounts.
A cracker works to try and find out the password.
I don't think that a hacker who could hack into gaia accounts
would waste his/her time here, but you never know.
Hack me if you like, I don't care for my items... they don't make me who
