Nihonsei had been silently following behind him and gave a verbal agreement that she had heard him before staring at the cave in front of her. It seemed pitch dark at the moment and very uninviting. However she didn’t think Damian would lead her to anything inhabited with dangerous creatures, not that she couldn’t take care of herself. Plus a bit of unknown was always fine with her as well.
She turned her head to face him when he returned with the fire. Ah it looked like one of those fire sticks the humans sometimes used. She hoped it wasn’t that hard to make. “Be careful that you don’t get injured by anything that drips off. I would hate to see you get hurt.”

He was unable to respond due to the stick, however if he could it would have been something mentioning her worry. His tail merely wagged in response, eyes warmly smiling at her in place of his mouth before he boldly stepped into the cave. He checked to see if she was following before pressing onward. Oh ho ho, she was in for a surprise!
Perhaps she'd squeal. He hoped she did. Maybe she'd squeak. Either way, he didn't mind what she did as long as she liked it. That was all that mattered, that she was happy. As they walked he turned as a narrow passage was present in the side of the wall. He paused, checking to see if Niho was with him, again.

Figuring he would attempt to take care of himself she let the tail wiggling be her answer and continued to follow him. The Cave, while slightly illuminated by the fire was still pretty dark although Nihonsei really didn’t mind. She and Nippon used to go all the time to train their skills and how to move around in the dark. A smile lit her face as she recalled such memories.
It made her a bit sad that Nippon had gone off with a female. The twins used to be rather close. After all they where identical minus there eyes, Nihonsei had a darker shade of purple and wore her hair down. Maybe she just missed the company. However she definitely wouldn’t use Damian just for that. She did want to be his friend, even if he kept stumbling into embarrassing situations. “I’m still following” she replied seeing as he had turned around to check on her, or at least that’s what she assumed he was doing.

Pleased when she confirmed she was following, her turned down a passage, and stopped, plopping down and raising his head for the flames to cast shadows. A smile reached his mouth, pleased at the sight.
The room was full of purple and blue stones, glittering and sparkling as the light hit them. It illuminated the room, stones changing color as the flames danced. And orange stone here and there broke the wall of purples and blues. He waited for her to arrive, head tilted backwards, the flame carried with his movement.

Nihonsei walked in, unfortunately she didn’t squeak but her eyes did widen and she took a deep breath in. It was a very beautiful place to be certain. She stayed silent for a while as was custom in her culture and just absorbed the place around her. If she had been better at poetry like others in her land she might have tried writing one right about now.
“Thank you… for taking me here. It’s a very lovely place” she finally spoke after a few moments of silence. She did manage to wonder how Damian found this place but then realized it really wasn’t important. She was glad he had thought to share it with her. Perhaps Damian wasn’t so bad in the long run. However he did need to work on his timing, that was for certain.

He was slightly worried at her silence, however he smirked as he realized she was taking the scenery in. His tail flicked as is paws took over holding the flame, watching the flames and colors of the stones dance off her coat. She looked beautiful.
"The way the lights dance off you make it seem like you are a part of them. It's beautiful." He admitted. He stood, tail wrapping around the flamed stick as he approached her, sitting beside the vixen.
"I'm glad you appreciate this place, not many care for these things." Then again, she wasn't many.

“Yes I have noticed that not many in these lands care to stop and admire nature. In my homeland one is always in tune with the world around them, we believe that there is life energy to everything. If you disrespect the world around you the ancestors will be mad and may curse you.” Nihonsei stated. It was moments like these that she almost regretted leaving her land.
It had been a very peaceful place although she had heard from her parents it often wasn’t. As much as her people liked viewing nature they also liked pursuing a better greatness to themselves and often this was found in the midst of battle.
She had not been exempt from this need either, everything had almost been discovered where she had come from and her need for adventure had lead her and her twin to swim the perilous journey across the ocean to come to Damian’s land. “If it wasn’t such a hard journey I wouldn’t have minded bringing you to see my birthplace, you might have liked it”

He was silent as she spoke, fascinated. His ears pricked up as she mentioned the wish to take him, or idea, rather. What was stopping them? She got Here somehow, which means there had to be a way back.
"Why not go? You got here, you can go back!" It would be a long journey, yes, but you only lived once! Why not take that journey and actually accomplish something?

“Well a lot of factors tie into why I can’t go. There is a good chance that we would be stranded on the island for a good while and I would be separated from my twin and you your family extremely long time. The seasons over in Nihon are very dangerous and often stormy. Then there is the fact we could die on the way over. I wouldn’t want to do that to Nippon. He helped me get away from there. Since we nearly died the first time I don’t want to risk my first friend. If I find a safer way I wouldn’t mind considering it”
Sure she did want to see it again, but this part of the world was infinitely more interesting and even if Nippon did have a girlfriend they where still extremely close. “Maybe I’ll make it up to you by introducing you to Nippon” she mused. He was just important to her as Nihon had been after all.

Aw. He had hoped to see her home! Oh well, he would find a way one day.
"It must have been a beautiful place if it made you." He mused absently, almost as if he was thinking out loud, which he probably was. Turning his head as she mentioned seeing her brother, he smirked suddenly, head dipping down as a goofy smile reached his face.
"I get to meet family? Well, lucky me! Perhaps, if mother isn't too busy, I can have her meet you in return." If only he could locate Valentine.... He would have loved to have them meet.

“Well it is very beautiful landscape wise but the people there are strict and its hard to be a girl. Nippon would have had a slightly better life however he wasn’t one for training for battle and furthering himself through fighting. It was part of the reason we left as well.” She mused
“Yeah if I can find Nippon, he likes to travel a lot and I think he said something about going somewhere with his new female companion.” Nihonsei commented and then took a deep breath. Meeting one’s parents was a bigger deal than one’s sibling. However then again it wasn’t like she could introduce her parents so Nippon took that spot as well. Then again maybe western culture was different and she was making a big deal out of nothing.
