She got quite a few looks as she headed into the lunchroom, and she felt her cheeks turn a soft pink. These looks were different from usual, and she was certain the source was of the facts about her that were being spread in such a negative light. She wheeled right on past each staring, smirking, and giggling girl, intent on her path. When she saw her destination, she lit up with a bright smile. "Hello, Conan." She greeted softly as she locked her wheels. Hopefully he wasn't hearing the talk her apparent rivals had been tittering through the halls.. "How did your classes go?"
His plate was piled high as usual by the time he got to the end of the line. The cashier gave him an odd look, dismissed it as a high metabolism for being different, and ushered him on through. He grinned at the older woman's confusion and headed on out. He headed straight for where his track teammates sat; close enough to the doors to be in the 'cool kids' area, but not close enough to be near the jocks. Much of the team was already seated, and he made sure to sit where his feathers wouldn't accidently dip into someone else's plate.

Seeing all of the girls at her table and the nearby tables start giggling, smirking, or just flat out giving dirty looks made Nergüi look to see who had come in. Seeing Gemini roll in and then head over to Conan's table made her frown. These girls were so ridiculous. Especially the ones two tables down, the swim team tables. Sending a glare to all of the cheerleaders made them all look down and focus on eating. Satisfied for the moment she finished eating. She'd get those swim girls since Gemini showed no signs of taking care of it herself.
Conan had heard and seen the giggling and the looks Gemini was getting as she came in. He wondered what was going on. He'd have to ask some friends or even Nergüi to see if they knew. "Hey Gemini." He said smiling as she stopped at the table, "They were okay. A little too easy but I'll live. How were your classes?" He opened his Bento box and pulled out a fork. He wasn't like Nergüi who used chopped sticks. Finally their table began filling up and some of Conan's friends began to sit down. "Hey guys this is my friend Gemini. Gem this is Ryan, Bethany, Alex, and Savannah. They're my lunch buddies.... as in this is the only time we see each other because we arrive so late to the lunch room." Savannah laughed at that and waved hello to Gemini. Bethany said a soft hello and quickly looked at her food. Ryan and Alex both gave her a hearty hi and naturally checked her out.

Elliotte leaned against the cafeteria wall, his arms crossed grumpily over his chest. His first day of school had been a nightmare thus far. He had been placed in the Junior year and was not impressed with the school's offerings.The teachers in his first few classes had promptly ignored him after his scathing remarks of their teaching styles and he had been stopped from leaving campus twice already. His tail twitched as he glared out across the student body at lunch.

Gemini giggled lightly at Conan's briefing. Too easy, huh? "They were fine. I was able to understand everything fairly easily." When Conan's friends joined, she felt a flush of pink rush over her cheeks. Strangers... But they were already friends with Conan. She reacted in much the same way as Bethany. "It's a pleasure to meet you all." She said softly before her eyes dropped passively, too bashful to meet their gazes for much longer than the greeting.
He was having a fine time, his table rather loud thanks to all the outgoing personalities on the team. He almost missed the entry of the dark haired dream, spotting him from the corner of his eye. The feline looked familiar... One of the nightmares? He couldn't remember the name. He could tell just by looking at the other dream that the guy would rather be anywhere else but where he was right then. Well, it wasn't up to him to make the guy happy, so he turned back to his teammates and resumed his conversation.

Gabe was NOT impressed being in High School, since his guardian was just using it as punishment for Gabe making him angry. Its not like the learning material for Juniors was hard or anything, actually the teachers were slightly impressed at his knowledge but thought twice since he wears so much leather and spikes. He shuffled into the cafeteria with plastic wrapped sandwiches in his hand, his chains jingling as he walked. The teachers tried to tell him about his outfit but then he gave a valid argument about self expression and warning them about discrimination. They backed off, just as long as his pants weren't dangling by the knees. He looked across the room, seeing alot of familiar faces but not knowing quite what to say, until his gaze landed on the crabby cat on the wall. Sauntering over he found a table by him, plopping into a chair and putting the heel of his boot on the table as he leaned on two legs of his chair. He flopped one of sandwiches on the table near Ell as he opened his. He hadnt eaten all day and needed SOMETHING so he began munching on it, not bugging the cat. Knowing the nightmare he shared the same house with was sharing the same feelings about this whole situation.
allthough Gabe did manage to flash a greeting smile over to the other dreams in the lunchroom, wondering if they were here for the same reason or what...

The sound of chains drew a flick from Elliotte's ears. As the sound grew closer he turned his head to watch Gabe sit down. When the sandwich landed on the table in front of him he looked at Gabe questioningly before stepping over to grab it. Pulling out a chair he flomped into it and stuck his elbows on the table. He unwrapped the sandwich and took a bite. Setting it aside he put his face in his hands and ran his fingers through his hair making it stick up funny around his goggles. "I take it you're having as wonderful of a day as I am." He mumbled into his hands. He leaned back in his chair. "THIS SUCKS!"

"Pfft...yeah....boring as hell to be honest. But hey theres some hot girls to look at here at least." He indicated some of the girls in the distant table that were giggling and peering at them, pretending not to be noticed, and also pointed to some of the dreams that were sitting together. "You gonna have homework at all you want me to do?" He raised an eyebrow, thinking Elliotte was too smart for the classes as well but he thought hed offer anyway. Wolfing down the rest of his sammich and tossing the wrapper into the not very near garbage, making a perfect shot.

He peered at the girls before he shook his head. "No, I've got the homework thing. d**k would kill us both if he found out about that anyway. And as for them?" He jerked his head toward the girls. "Berry's hotter." He eyed the rest of the Dreams recognizing a few of them but not knowing any of them well enough to really care.

"Well that's good." Conan said glancing back at the door when Alexa made a comment about more dreams appearing. He then saw the cat and fox dream. The fox seemed to be the more friendly of the two as he was flashing a smile to all of the other dreams. Conan smiled back and then turned to his table. He began eating while Ryan and Alex began goofing off. Savannah wasn't having any of the shy treatment and was trying to get Gemini to talk. "So Gem... do you mind if I call you that? I really haven't seen much of you in school but I did hear about you having a fish tail or would it just be called a fin? Anyways.... I bet it's really cool having that. I mean you can totally go swimming with the fishes. I wonder how deep you can go, like in the ocean." Savannah blabbed on. Bethany looked up and leaned across the table quickly. "Savannah wants to be a marine biologist. She loves fish." She whispered before going back to being shy.
Finally done with her food, Nergüi looked around. Her table was still eating and talking and the swim girls had all settled down. As she was looking around she spotted to familiar dreams. She had briefly met them at the garden. Grabbing her Bento box she stood up and quickly walked over towards Gabe and Elliotte. "Hello boys. So nice to see you joining us in this wonderful place called school. Mind if I sit and chat?" She didn't wait for an answer but just sat down. Many of the kids from her table were staring with jaws open at her sudden change in seats.

Gabe perked and sat up straight, "Hey Nurgui! Wassap? Yea...Wonderful id say....." He managed to give her a polite smile, "Hows everyone else holding up to this prison?" slightly concerned since he himself loathes school. Nudging Ell to be polite to her since she did make an effort to visit the "outcasts".

With her back to the newest members of the school, she didn't even realize they'd arrived. Savannah was talking to her! Talking really fast... She was a little too distracted by this to hear the others being pointed out. "W-well, um, yes, you may call me Gem." She said, cheeks flushing slightly more. "It's just a fin.." She whispered, quite flustered by the enthusiastic attention. She'd thought she'd be over this by now, considering all the attention she had gotten for her appearance when she had first joined school. Apparently not... Marine biologist? She looked over at Bethany, and then at Savannah again. "Being a marine biologist sounds like fun." She looked up at a noise across the lunch room, and sighed heavily. "Chadrick..."
Oh? Another dream? He lifted a hand in greeting to Gabe, but remained at his table for the time being. It wasn't until Nergui got up that he got the idea to do the same. But then he saw the looks on the faces of the deer's "friends," and he couldn't help himself. He strolled over to their table, got behind the guy with a rather jealous look on his face, and crooned, "Reeeeeeejected~" Instantly the jealous guy and a couple of his buds jumped up, Chad laughing hysterically as he ran out of the lunch room with the gullible morons at his heels. This sight wasn't that uncommon by now, the rest of the student body looking up briefly at the noise and then back to their meals.

Nergüi smiled and shook her head. "Nothing much. Looking forward to 5th period today." She replied to Gabe with a evil grin. She turned to Elliotte and let out a little laugh. "You look miserable. Surely it's not...." She trailed off hearing the huge commotion. She frowned as the jocks from her table were goaded by Chadrick. "Such idiots." She muttered before turning back to Elliotte and Gabe, "As I was saying.... surely it's not that bad? And since when did you start being so polite and call me lady?" She then looked at Gabe and shrugged. "Seems Conan is in his element here, Gem is suffering from stupid girls, and Kris is completely bored unless he's in his wood shop class."
Conan was soon finished eating and was sort of smiling as Savannah grilled Gem. The smile vanished as he heard Gem sigh and then the commotion from across the room. "Does he want to be beaten up? Cause one day they will catch him." He asked Gem.
Savannah looked at Gem with bright eyes. "Just a fin?! I bet you can swim faster than any other person in our school with that fin." She replied, "Oh it will be! And I'll be helping out all of the fish and ocean plants.... not to mention always learning about them. Maybe one day I'll discover a new species!" It was then that Ryan piped up, "Hey chill out Savannah. Can't you see you're scaring the new kid?" He shook his head and went to eat his lunch.

Frown deepening slightly, her eyes dropped down to her lap. "Sometimes I wonder.." She murmured softly in disappointment. Chadrick was acting out so much lately. "I don't know why he's being like that."
The mention of her speed in the water made her look up again and blush warmly. She wasn't one to boast... When Ryan spoke up, she blushed even more and shook her head, taking a deep breath to steady herself. "I'm sorry. I don't mean to be so... I-it's really good that you're excited about having a career in mind already. I hear most teens have trouble with picking anything."

"Come to think of it I havent really seen much of him at all, I remember a little about the guy." Thinking back when he was a child and seeing all the dreams at one point or another. "Well at least some of us are managing,"
He still grimaced, unable to really find something worthwhile here, all though socializing with the other dreams wasnt too bad. He grinned and nudged Ell about calling her lady.
