She could feel the magic start to take effect. Without a word she swam forward and took hold of the girl knowing she'd sink at first as she became use to the change. "Don't worry"

Haruka's leggs started to tinggle and for a second it felt like she was short of breath. As her legs became a tail it became hard to stay afloat. She was thankful that Cordelia was there to hold her up.
Once it was done Haruka was panting a little, alightly from panic from when she was sinking but mostly from suproce. He legs had become a scaly tail and it was very pretty too. Experimentally she flopped it around to get use to it.

"Oh how pretty!" she smiled. "It's always a toss up for what your tails going to look like"
"Take a moment to learn how it works...and try out your new lungs" she suggested.

Haruka looked to her and smiled. Looking then to her tail she worked with it more She knew where her hips were and wher her knees had been, and so it wasn'r long before that was settled.
Next came her lungs. Letting herself slip a little from the octupuses grasp she sunk into the water. Out of habit she feld her breath but then she got the cuurage to let it out. Her first few breaths were shallow and hard and she sputtered and panice a little but then her body finished agusting and she relaxed.

Ace threw open the van's door and sprung out. She ran a few feet towards the beach.
"Ace, come over here and help unpack the stuff. It was your idea to come here so, you are going to help. >: [" Ace's brother yelled. Ace giggled and ran back to the van. A few weeks before she had begged her brother to take her to the ocean. He kept refusing, but finally she got him to agree to take her.
Ace helped her brother unload the stuff and move it onto the sand. Once that was all done she slipped off her shorts and shirt.
Ace's brother looked at her, "you better stay in the shallow area or put on some floaties," he warned her. Ace could not swim and that was one of the reason's her brother did not want to take her to the ocean. "Aww, I will be fine." Ace ran off and began exploring the beach. As she was walking she found some huge rocks that hung over the ocean. Ace climbed up on them and looked over the edge. She could not tell how deep the water was so, she got closer to the edge to get a better look. Ace did not know the rocks were slippery and when she took a step forward she slipped right in. "Woah." She managed to say before plunging into the ocean.
The water in that area was deep and she kept sinking deeper and deeper. Ace kicked and punched like she was trying to fight the ocean away. She was quickly loosing air and conciseness.

"Well I guess I chose the correct human to take below" they sunk deeper in the water as Haruka played around with her new form Cordelia watched with amusement.
Hearing a strange splashing the cecaelia spun around. "Somethings happening" she said trying to pinpoint the noise. "Wait here I think someone's drowning" she shot off quickly toward the sound and spotted a girl struggling in the water. "I swear, why do they come out here if they know they cant swim?" she swam forward and grabbed the girl pulling her to the surface quickly.
"Are you okay?" she asked as she got both their heads above the water.

Haruka was getting the hang of this. She could actually breath the water and was swiming around fairly well. She turned fast when heard that something was amiss in the water.
"What's wrong?"
As soon as she heard it was some one drowning she did her best to keep up. She was going along pretty well but she was no where near as fast as Cordelia as she brought the girl to the surface. She surfaced near them as she watched ther mer take care of the situation.

Ace could see a person coming towards her. She saw blue tentacles trailing behind the person and just brushed it out of her mind thinking it was just her drowning mind playing tricks on her. The person got closer and Ace could see that the person was female. Then Ace saw another person coming towards her that seemed to glow orange. Apparently Ace's eye site was going in this salty water. The girl grabbed Ace's arm and quickly pulled her to the surface. Ace took a gulp of air and sputtered. She managed to get most of the water out of her. Ace looked over at the girl that just saved her. Ace heard a muffled "are you okay" from the girl. Ace hit one side of her head to clear out some of the water from her ears. "T-thank you and yeah. I am okay now that you have saved me."
