Yes, I admit I am also not familiar with them. At the mention of Calder, Riley blinked thoughtfully. His advice was the one she was following, after all. Fearful passions? Sounds horrific. We shall see that, then -

She paused, and turned around completely, looking behind her. Then she shuddered, and her arm clung tighter around Christof. You didn't just.. hear something behind us. Did you?

I believe there was some sort of serpentine squirrel going up that tree, he offered to the best of his knowledge, still staring up at her as they walked. Er... it's a long way to the Maul if... that's the case, they hadn't gone TOO far, so far, he might as well offer, I'm still working on... taming it but... I took Miss Amrita out on it and it went er... well I think it's better than then and I know it's no Dragon Flight but if you wanted we could take Chopper, Mistress.

Maybe moving a little faster and possibly holding on for dear life would at least take her mind off of... where ever it was just then.

Riley stopped, the offer sounding like a good idea. She didn't mind walking for any length of time, but when time was precious, an offer for a ride always sounded good.

Yes. That is fine, Christof. You may go acquire Chopper. Shall I wait here for you, or accompany you?

Christof hesitated. Part of him would love to show her his and Barth's secret operation, where they've been doing most of their recent inventing and building and he had been slowly moving their tools out- and some things borrowed from the Mad Science labs... but another part reminded him Barth really might not be game for that.

He fidgeted, Just... have a seat, Mistress, it's only back this way er- that already was too much, I'll be right back.

And he prayed Chopper would be in a good mood.

Riley was in no rush to leave, nor was she desperate to know exactly where he kept chopper. She was not about to sit, however, and she made a shooing notion with her hands, letting him head off to get his Chopper.

As she was left alone, a brief respite of silence surrounded her, but in her mind, she was conversing steadily.

Of course he's coming back. She suddenly muttered.

Don't be ridiculous.

No, you are wrong.

No.

Whoever you are, just go away.

But it was too late, the seeds of doubt had been planted, and suddenly, Riley wasn't so sure Christof was coming back. She was starting to believe he had just abandoned her. And her face was darkening in anger the more she thought about it.

Eventually, there came a rumbling from behind the demon dorms, closer to the Undead. A single headlight flared before the black shape surged towards her, and it was all Christof could do to veer the not-quite-tamed motorbike in a wide circle around her. When he tried to get it to STOP, then the issues of creative differences arose, and the bike reared with a rev of it's engine like a hissing cat.

Overall, the effect was a very impressive wheelie. If Christof hadn't been clinging on for dear life and just relieved that the thing HAD stopped once it landed, he would have been very proud of himself.

The sound of the motorbike was comforting. It was loud, and drowned out everything else that she was hearing, and she couldn't have been happier about it. The relief was visible on her face, by the pleased expression glowing from her eyes. She waited until Christof came to a full stop, before brushing her fingers carefully along the edge of the bike.

Lovely. This will work out fine. She was more pleased at the noise factor than any speed of travel, at this point. She slung herself over the bike behind Christof, sliding down until she felt secure and wrapping her arms around his waist. This was not easy, with his hump in the way, but she shuffled until she was relatively comfortable.

Christof's face went red as her arms wrapped around his middle, I've been... working on it still but it er... still isn't quite tamed, so er... be sure to hold on tightly, Mistress.

That warning made, he revved the engine and the bike happily lurched forward without much more to-do. The wind whipped through his hair, pulling it partly free of it's pony tail. he loved this feeling. He wished it had gone this well when he had gone out with Amrita on it, but... well, he'd have to try again with her some time. It was almost like flying- just a few feet across the ground, surging forward down the road and away from Amityville. His brain was spinning. This was Mistress clinging to him, really, truly Mistress. She was actually here. They were going to see a movie together. And he wasn't dreaming.

Something was definitely going on, but for now, he didn't care. It was looking like, for once in his life, he was going to have a good day.

Riley had already latched on tightly, well aware of how important it was to have a good hold when you rode. The motorbike was a startlingly similar comparison to the giant dragon she was already used to riding, so there was no jerk of fear, or pullback, from her. The noise, however, was not something she was used to - but she was still so very thankful for how it seemed to numb her mind with it's decibel levels, and keep her from thinking too hard.

It was the most relaxed she'd felt all day.

She dropped her chin on Christof's shoulder to keep out of the way of his hair, and narrowed her eyes as the wind whipped against her face.

The maul was coming up close rather fast, which surprisingly displeased her. She only hoped the movie was as loud and mind-numbing as this ride was. When we have completed our venture at the movie theater, might I request that we ride this some more? I enjoy it immensely.

Christof's face had gone red by the time the patchwork, benevolent vehicle had slowed to a stop. Maybe it sensed her confidence and power like he did? It hadn't bucked them off. Maybe it was tired or... or starting to tame? Well... so far so good, We can, if you like, Mistress... I... I am glad you like it. It's... taken me a long time to get it er. Functional. He cleared his throat instinctively, gently turning to try to help her step down. There was a heavy chain coiled around one of the twisting bits of metal out of the way of the seats, and he began to pull it out. Hopefully if he lashed it down enough,it would still be there when they left the theater.

Riley took his hand and unwound from the motorbike, hopping to her feet and walking away. You have done an excellent job with it. It is.. a fun recreational activity. I look forward to more of it.

As she said this, she looked up at the movie theater, her expression muddled with confusion. Some of the movies sounded silly, and some sounded outright dreadful, but a few were the typical sort of horror movies that would have sated her tastes for gore and violence.

She hoped this 'Fearful Passions' movie was up to par.

Shall we enter?

Does... does Mistress want some sweets for the movie? He knew she preferred something to munch on while watching movies in that club he sometimes attended.

He wondered if this would... also end in wing strokes. I can fetch our tickets and er... He paused at the posters for movies he had never heard of. There was some drama called The Robot that Almost Killed All Humans made him pause in wonderment.

Sweets? She perked visibly. Is that typical for an outing such as this? She looked down at the counter when they walked past, and the colors made her eyes blink owlishly. Oh, yes. Yes, yes I do. You get some sweets. Her eyes turned to him suddenly. I was the one who offered to take you out on this juncture, though. I will buy the tickets.

This was not an offer, and it wasn't up for debate. She untangled her arm from him and set out to the box office on her own.

Yes, Mistress! Er... right away! Er... if.. if you are sure about the tickets... um... maybe we should do some reconnaissance at the box-office? About the movie. Before we choose which... he hedged, once again questioning Calder's advice.

The ride over had at least given him some time to mull the situation over. Carefully, of course, praying Riley did not pick up on anything. He was.... kind of sort of dating Amrita. And... and Riley had Malodore. And Jericho. So. This had to have been some sort of new experiment she needed assistance with. That had to be the reason. She certainly was acting odd enough, he mused as he made his way to the candies.

Ordering turned out to be a bit of a hassle, all things considered, but with a lot of various hand motions and just about every pumpkin seed he had to his name, he hobbled his way back towards the ticket booth with all three arms and every pocket filled with every sort of sweet and popcorn or sweet drink they carried, unsure which Mistress would like best.

Hopefully she would have chosen a movie befitting of her experiment. Maybe that one with the robots. That one looked pretty good.

Christof's advice had been sound. If Riley had heard it, she probably would have done some investigating. But the entire time he spoke, an odd whining noise was ringing through her mind, and all she could do was shake her head, tentacles flying, as she walked to the ticket booth to purchase tickets. She couldn't even think straight, let alone worry about what she was buying, so she pointed at the name they'd settled on originally, and a moment later she was turning to stare at Christof's swag.

Her eyes widened to saucers.

I.. didn't.. you.. did you buy the entire counter, Christof? It looked like he had a drink for every one of her tentacles. How was he even carrying all of that successfully?!

She immediately began snatching things away to help him, tentacles burrowing into the top of the pile to pull boxes and cups away.

You might have gone a little overboard. If I ate all of this, well, I think you know what would happen. You shall have to make sure I do not consume it all.

The sound of a soda being emptied from a cup punctuated her sentence, and she threw away one of the now-empty soda cups as she turned to walk into the theater.
