Niji backed away from the strange pokemon, growling and hissing. Why was she acting so weird when they were fighting? She must be trying to trick him!

Niji growled as the draining feeling came again. He didn't like it, and that pokemon was making it happen! He whipped around, trying to smack the other pokemon with his tail again.

Chromatic jumped when the Eevee's tail came flying.
"Poison him!" Ms. Sparkles hoped for the best.
The Pokemon shook herself, releasing another cloud of poison.

Niji skittered away just in time, that cloud had looked particularly nasty. Annoyed with missing, and not wanting to get close to the poisonous pokemon, Niji concentrated, and a swarm of stars went flying at his opponent.

The wild Eevee was pretty good at dodging the poison attack. Ms. Sparkles wondered if he had a lot of experience dodging attacks from trainers and therefore, haven't been caught yet. She pondered their next move.
"Drain him again."

(( I think you might have forgotten to subtracts the effects of Leech seed?
Might be wrong though. I'm so out of it from school xD ))
The grass Pokemon was pelted by another swarm of bright lights.
"I'm sure you know the attack pattern by now, Chromatic," Ms. Sparkles laughed. "Drain!"
Chromatic shook to relieve the stars in her eyes from the attack, and released an attack of her own.

Another flash of stars, and Chromatic swayed. She was getting so very tired. She used drain to attempt to feel slightly better.

Yuki swayed. That last attack had left him feeling weak and exhausted. He couldn't decide which of the several Whimsicott was his opponent, so he just sent stars at all of them.

Chromatic slumped to the ground. She had drained just enough from her leech seed to keep her going for one more round.
"One last drain! Hang in there, we almost have him!" She called out.
The Whimsicott didn't bother to get up, as she used drain again.

Niji sent one last shower of stars at the opposing pokemon, then turned tail and ran, disappearing into the tall grass. He'd barely beaten this opponent, he didn't want to stick around and find out if the human had another pokemon!

Ms. Sparkles watched disappointingly, as the rainbow Eevee ran off. Oh well, there's always next time. Her own Pokemon came first.
"It's okay, Chromatic. We'll get him next time." She returned her to her Pokeball, and trotted back to town.
