Nuru rushed over to check on Zar. Attempting to sit him up a bit as he asked rather frantically, "Are you okay?!"
He forewent his turn this time to make sure Zar was okay.

Oh the humiliation. Not only had he made a complete idiot of himself, Nuru had the gall to actually try and help him out. This was an unforgivable blow to the demon's choosy pride and with an angry hiss he tried once again to attack the ghost, even against the various aches and pains that were making themselves known.
He was seriously disorientated by the fall however and ended up simply holding onto him instead

Nuru didn't understand. How could he? When Zar returned his efforts with a hiss and an attempt at another attack he could only turn on him in effort to defend himself. Teeth bared he tried to strike back but missed as Zar grabbing him threw him off center a bit. Causing them both to flump down on the floor most likely.

Zar tried to get back to his hooves, really he did, but it wasn't easy and for whatever reason the gym was still spinning from his rattling fall to the floor, he really had to work on that move. But not today. Today he was beaten and he knew it, whatever fight he had him him totally gone in the face of the fact that rather than attack him when he had an open chance, Nuru instead had opted to try and help him, and that even then he couldn't manage to maintain his dignity.
He feebly slumped against the ghost boil and sighed.
"I forfieit. I told you I wasn't a fighter."

"Really?" He asked attempting to give the demon's hair a fleeting stroke.
"Are you ready to talk, then?" He peered down at the defeated boil. Not physically defeated... but definitely and unquestionably defeated emotionally. At least this was something the barghest could understand.

Zar tensed again, this time a mere echo of the irritation earlier. He still felt vulnerable out here, aware of all the enemies he'd realised were all around him at this school.
"Not here." was all he would say.

"Ah understand." And it was then Nuru took a long pause of continually petting the demon before he felt his strength return enough he could attempt to stand and bring Zar up with him by the hand.
"To the nurses and then someplace quiet?" He asked. Soot still seeping from his wounds, uncontrolled.

Zar hung his head like a scolded child as he got to his feet, once again overwhelmed by how much he'd lost control. Emotions were frowned upon so much in his family and yet again and again he succumbed to them. He failed very hard at this whole dispassionate businessman thing. Even faced with the other students he'd been scared deep down, scared by the scale of everything and how far down it seemed to go.
He nodded to Nuru but he didn't have anything else he could say.

Nuru nodded and went over to grab his things and re-dress himself before helping Zar back over to his own things that were still exactly where he had left them.

Zar donned his coat as quickly as possible not wanting to linger around too long looking as roughed up as he did.
