Ryou was washing the dishes and putting the leftovers in the fridge when he heard the Ring jingling angrily, glee welling up within him as he hurried. Skipping to the couch he picked up the bag and headed up the stairs, glad that he had an upstairs in his house unlike his old apartment. Entering his room he glanced at the bookcase and saw that it was nicely sealed, humming as he went to his four-poster bed complete with gold and black sheets and drape, he plopped the bag down in the middle.
His ' work ' paid for all of this of course, having a high school friend that helped sell the items that he did bring in. He sat cross-legged in front of the still closed back, taking deep breath to calm his nerves.

Bakura was furious. What was worse was that he was moving again and didn't know where he was going. The apartment didn't have stairs. It was to the point that when the bag was placed down again one of the rings stasels pierced the bage and he felt slight reward when it had slight resistance beyond that.
"Let. Me. OUT!!!!"

Ryou finally took pity on the trapped spirit and opened the bag, taking out the furious spirit Ring and setting it gently on the soft sheets. Reaching forwards he set his hand on the Ring but didn't pick it up, caressing the worn gold. "Hello Bakura."
((I'm cooking a yummy Chinese Dinner!))

Bakur was finally parcially rewarded when Ryou took the ring out of the bag. he was set on the bed. he was still mad but atleast he could see Ryou now, and the han don the ring was enough of a conection.
"Don't you hello me. I would have apreciated if if I had NOT been in the bag! And what in Ra's name is with that out fit.? It's ******** embarising! And I was thinking about training you."

Ryou just smiled and shook his head, his fingers still idly shifting across the surface. "Well I see that you haven't changed, its been 5 years Bakura. Things have changed, the world doesn't stay the same." Even Ryou had changed slightly, his hair was now longer and past his shoulders where before the tips just brushed it, he had gotten taller since hitting puberty so he would be about Bakura's height now, he had grown some muscle on his body and no longer the skinny frail boy that he used to be. He blushed slightly at the mention of his outfit, running his fingers across the points of the Ring that had left scars on his chest so long ago when he first met the Spirit. "There are such things known as cameras now, my white hair and skin would stand out in the dark so I need an all black outfit. Having it skin tight with stretchy material allow me to move without problems, plus the technology that they use I need to be as hidden as possible. And I put you in the bag rather then hang you around my neck for a reason, we need to talk." He said the last part softly, he had grown a little and he would stand up to his Yami even though inside he felt like going back to that scared little boy.

"I figured that much. Keeping track of time when there's notging else to do is quite simple."
He got iratated again as Ryou explained what a modernn secutity system was like.
"I ******** KNOW THAT ALREADY!!!!! HOW THE BLOODY HELL DO YOU THINK I STOLE WHAT I MANAGED TO STEAL!!?! "
His attention was grabbed by the quick message at the end though. Ryou never wanted to talk to him before. It was silent for a bit before he spoke.
"What."

Ryou fiddled with his hands a bit, suddenly a bit more cautious on the subject. "I almost didn't expect you to still be inside the Ring, but I figured that it wouldn't be so easy for people to get rid of you. After I started stealing I have been putting off coming to get you because..........well I'm not that little boy anymore!" He had to get this off his chest, he had to start being his own person! "I'm my own person and I deserve respect, I may be your Hikari but I'm not going t-to be pushed a-around b-by you any-anymore......." His courage seemed to evaporate rather quickly so he finished lamely with a bit of stutter, fiddling with his hands again more as he turned his gaze away from the Ring like Bakura was actually sitting there. "S-so if you want me t-to be your host again, th-then you b-b-better treat me better."

Bakura rolled his eyes at Ryou's thiriretical lack of faith in him. Though he remained silente as Ryou spoke at him for a while. A smile growing on his face as he heard the stuttereing coming through to his ears.
"You sounded very little like that boy....until you got to the end. That little boy is still there. And I can get rid of him for you."
He chuckled a little as he felt Ryou discontent for there past. It gave him energy, enough to do something he hadn't done before. Come out of the ring. He floated from it and was visible enough to be scene. It took some effort but he was certin that given enough conection with Ryou, he could make this a little more solid.
"I'm not looking for a host. I'm looking for a pupil."

Ryou was freaked out beyond belief, freezing like a deer in headlights. He had been told what it was like to see your Yami from Yugi, but had never gotten close enough to the darker spirit for them to make the kind of connection. His words though brought a shy smile to his face, shifting slightly on the bed. "A pupil, like for the kind of work I took up?"

Bakura chuckled Darkly at Ryou's reaction. Yup, beyond that new and stronger fasause there was still that timid little goody goody. He would have to fix that.
"Took up? Heh, you have no idea do you. You know you're ansestors were thives and in a sense you father is too. No, you didn't take it up. You followed it. Would have happened started about seven years ago but suprest it. No way you could have handeled it back then. No. Now you are ready to follow in you families foot steps. And I'm am going to show you the way."
Leaning over he smiled darkly at the boy still. It was odd to note that unlike what Yugi had described, Bakura wasn't dressed as Ryou was. He still had the etire he wore when the Pharoh beat him five years ago. That dark edgy trentch coat over Royu's simple little outfit.

Ryou became flustered at that, waving his hands slightly. "I-it's not like I did it on purpose, the Ring originally belonged to me so it's only right that I get it back!" Of course his perfect rationalization was a bit daunted as he was surrounded with luxuries that a normal person would never be able to afford at his age, but he had perfect rationalizations for that too......

"There a falise if ever there was one. You didn't do it on purpose but you took back what was rightfully yours."
He shook his head as he comtinued.
"If this was your first go at it then you have more talent then I gave you credit for. If you practiced first then you a smart thinker."
He came closer to Ryou and stared him in the eye.
"And you can't rationalise sneaking into the museum storage to get that greco vase from 450 b.c. I saw that."

"The Vase was because it originally belonged to a family and it got sold after being stolen on the Black Market, I simply obtained and returned it." He nodded like that made soooo much sense, and if this was any other case it might be right but he was teetering on the gray.

Bakura siad with the utt most sarcasm.
"So I take it being a goody toe shoes got you all these luxsuries, an denough money to get a bigger house to put them in?"
There was no lying to Bakura. He had spent too much time in the boy's body to know what it did when he lied. There was a slight change of pitch in his voice.

He had a rationalization for that too, just because he wasn't exactly doing good didn't mean he couldn't make it so in his mind. "The treasures I used were to put them to good use instead of just sitting in the bottom of a dusty museum, and they belonged to the different families that they were unjustly stolen from." Of course there was also a hefty reward for the return of such stolen items, they didn't question where they were ' rescued from ' when he had his old friend turn them in. But it was perfectly righteous, at least that's what he told himself to sleep at night.
