At Roch's question, Merope jerked his head up and stared. "Er," he began uncertainly, "For a bit, yeah? I mean, I could go back to being one but..." He trailed off, offering up a shrug. Posed like that, he was beginning to feel the first tinges of embarrassment over his "adventure." If it could even be called that.
For a lack of an answer, Merope settled for shrugging again. That was an acceptable answer, right?
Shehk's nearby splashing brought Merope's attention away from the mysterious reaper boil (who was he anyway?) back to the game at hand, craning his head up to watch the ball as it was sent upwards. "Nice!" He called, following the ball with his eyes and giving Angerona a grin at her catch.
A sudden splash next to him made him jump as Sammy surfaced. His first reaction? Splash water right back at her. "Couldn't," he answered, "I needed Shehk to blow it for me first. Though next time maybe you could...?" He trailed off, oblivious to the innuendo he was making.
As the ball was thrown back towards them, Merope made a lunge for it. He missed, and disappeared underwater.
By the time he resurfaced, Merope missed out on the introductions. He blinked in surprise at the new faces, offered a wave, then looked around. "Where'd the ball go? Also where's the music coming from?"

Shehk's tail wagged excitedly as Angerona caught the ball, seeming to wait for it to be thrown again. Ballballballballball. Then Sammy had the ball. Shehk's eyes were so intense over that ball. When she threw it, Shehk bolted in the direction of said ball, nearly throwing herself into the water to catch it. Instead she rolled about in the shallow water, holding it up and above her head to keep it off the ground.
"BALL!" she suddenly decreed, content to have it. So happy.
Suddenly a thought struck her;
"MEROPE, YOU SHOULD HAVE PUMPED IT." she suddenly decreed. "WE NEED TO GET YOU A PUMP SO YOU CAN PUMP IT." She was very loud about this, still holding the ball close to her chest. With the decree out of the way, however, she wiggled and tossed the ball towards the group again, waiting to see who would catch it.

It was SERIOUSLY hard to keep a straight face at that loud declaration, Roch thought, his fingers slipping on the strings of his guitar ever so slightly. Pump it... blow it...
He looked away, his shoulders shaking so slightly from immature laughter.

Genora giggled lightly as Shehk was so excited to have caught the ball. She looked over to the leviathan boil to understand what his name was since they haven't introduced themselves yet. She moved over closer to the boil with a smile, "Hey there, Merope right?" she said calmly as she watched Shehk toss the ball.

"Obsiddian if you do not join this pool party I will personally toss you in and have Ixxy use bubble blast on you while you sleep tonight!" The command was said light hearted, and her glowing eyes danced as she said it seeming to brighten with amusement as she teased her ghoulfriend. "Chilli already jumped in and he doesn't seem to mind at all!"
Shifting in the water, she waved Ulmuka, "Sammy. You must be new here I ahven't seen you around late-SADFHSJKDF MEROPE YOU DORK." She splashed back at him again as he countered with his own starting a brief but very intense splash fight.
Of course Meropes next statement cause Sammy to grin all the more wicked like, she was not one to pass over such jokes without a problem, "Oh I'd blow it, but I'm pretty sure Siddie would have a fit if I wasn't blowing her beach balls up~"
Yep. She was a terrible person. Oh then there was Shehk, at that point Sammy just gave up and died of laughter. "SHEHK!! We can get you one too so you can pumps your own balls up~"
Again with the dancing purple eyes and the grin that suggested she was a bigger pervert then Nahm, Ahm, and Nuk combined.

Muka waded to Angerona, hoping to greet her formally, but the play with the ball was much too distracting. He giggled while Shehk excitedly clung to it.
Oh yeah.. he totally missed all the inuendo. It all meant nothing to the strix. He was simply laughing from the enjoyment of the whole thing.
"Nice to meet you Sammy and Angerona." And then the ball hit him in his fluffy head. The strix picked it up in his taloned hands, being veeeerrry careful not to pop it.
He tossed it to Merope. "Hello I'm Ulmuka!! I moved in during one of the field trips." He didn't want to bring down the group by mentioning the Haunted House.

"You're terrible," Siddie pouted at Sammy. But she undid her corset and slipped out of her dress anyway, leaving her in modest bloomers and a lace-trimmed chemise. She left her dress folded on top of her boots, then returned to wade cautiously into the water, squeaking as she stepped in. She kicked a spray of water towards Sammy, and at Shekh and Merope, by way of participating. Everyone was getting wet anyway, right?
Chili eeled happily through the water, following the ball's flight; if anyone held the ball for longer than a moment, the drutten scrambled up their clothes in an attempt to get at it, chirping happily.

Shehk's shout brought a light of confusion to Merope's eyes. "A WHAT?" He yelled back, "I ALREADY TOLD YOU THAT I SPENT ALL NIGHT BEATING IT UNTIL IT WAS STIFF THEN I COULDN'T BLOW IT." He spread his arms wide towards her, offering a shrug. "I TRIED TO LUBRICATE IT A BIT BUT IT DIDN'T WORK SO I GOT FRUSTRATED AND WAS TOO ROUGH WITH IT." Merope held his hands out in a shrug, dropping them enough to create a splash. "WHAT'S A PUMP ANYWAY?"
"Hey!" He laughed as Sammy splashed him back before he spun, trying to use his wings to splash her back. It was somewhat successful: he was able to get her wet, however he managed to splash just as much water back onto himself in the process.
As Ulmuka sent the beachball his way, Merope raised his hands and thrust the heels of his palms out. The ball bounced off of his hands and up, hanging as if suspended in the air for a moment before it started falling back down. Merope moved until he was under it again, sending it back up into the sky. It was now heading towards Siddie.
"Huh? Yeah, that's me." Merope replied as he turned, dipping a nod towards Angenora and Ulmuka. "Nice to meet you t- er, wait. We haven't been introduced?" He asked, looking at Angeonra curiously.

Angenora blushed lightly as Merope took noticed of them not being introduced yet. Giggling softly as she used a finger to twirl her hair in a circular motion. "No, we haven't. I just enrolled not too long before the assembly about the guests." She said nervously as she looked towards the water. ~He is totally hot!~ She thought to herself then looked back to him with a nervous, toothy, smile. "Angenora Jewels, charmed to meet you!" She said with a hand out stretched to shake his own. She would probably die all over again if he gave her a hug. That body of his was just too dreamy in her eyes. "I'm going to guess you have been here for sometime?" Speaking with a silly smile on her face as she tried not to think about how delicious his body was.

Shehk gave Sammy a long and confused look, shrugging before she looked back to Merope. "A pump!" she made a motion with her hands where one was the 'pump' an the other was her hand. "Y'know, like people blow up bike tires with!" she explained. "It's like using your hands to blow it?" Kind of.
That was the only explanation she could give, anyways, as she watched the ball, her eyes wide and alert. Ballballballballballballball...WANT.

Roch had stopped playing entirely and was gasping, turned away, his shoulders shaking as he tried to not laugh out loud. This had to be the FUNNIEST conversation he'd ever heard, because he was positive it was completely innocent--except for Sammy.
Of course. She WAS one of his band.

Siddie was blushing by now, bright spots of purple on her dark cheeks; she was trying not to giggle. The effort took up far too much of her concentration, though, and when the ball came flying at her she shrieked and whacked at it instead of catching it properly. The ball went hurtling towards Angenora, and Siddie toppled over into the water with a splash. A moment later she sat up, completely soaked and laughing helplessly.

Genora busted up laughing at the conversation Sammy and Siddie were having. She didn't notice the ball until after it had hit her in the head. She caught it after rubbing her noggin lightly. "Heads up!" She called out as she tossed the ball towards Shehk with a giggle as she watched the ghoul go crazy for that simple little ball.
