Some of the strikes started to connect before Nuke could get his guard up, but he eventually pulled his forearms towards his face, protecting himself for the most part.

Aiming a retaliatory knee lunge forward, he was just blindly trying to get some form of space between the two.

Attempting to gain some momentum in the match, Nuke aimed a flurry of his own strikes, aimed at both the head and body.

Cyrus was hit with multiple shots to the body and head. Cyrus suddenly blocked one of the shots and went for a knee of his own

The knee hit and Cyrus attempted to follow up with a snap suplex.

Cyrus hit the suplex. He got back to his feet and rushed to the ropes to attempt his signature double spring moonsault.

Nuke was able to roll just out of the way of the moonsault, leaving Cyrus with nothing but the mat to fall back to grace on to.
