Her eyebrows arched, and she leaned forward slightly, as if to ask him what kind of titles he was talking about. but he didn't seem to be finished so she didn't speak, just watching.
When his hand reached forward she glanced down at his hand, She thought for a split second that he was going to take her hand, but it stopped, not even getting to her tablet. She blinked once and tilted her head back up to look at his now playful demeanor. Her fingers curled in under her palm.
Upon completion of his question, the Agent... just.... sat there. Her hazel eyes wide, and her face most definitely growing more red. She seemed to be stunned for a few seconds, unable to say anything, or looking like she knew what to say before she finally forced words out of her mouth. "your robo-" She blinked rapidly a few more times seeming to snap herself out of her shock and leaned forward with something of cautious excitement. "Liaison for Robots? Really?"

The briefest of flickering glances brought Hayes' attention to the way her hand closed up when his came near, but how she blushed - and then leaned forward, all desire and hesitance - pushed the thought from his mind.
"Really," he smiled, and waited for her answer.

"Yes! Goodness yes, I would love to." She replied, straightening herself back up. "I'm honored that you would consider me for the position." With this she smiled, honestly taken aback by all of this, but the very prospect was very exciting!

"Great!" He beamed for a second, his expression lit up. "Er. That's great," Hayes repeated, swiping his bangs back as he added, "No reason I wouldn't. I mean, there's everything I just said."
He paused.
"Anyway." The blond straightened up, suddenly aware he'd been leaning across the table. "I'll get that in the computer so no one's confused and write up an actual job description. I think this'll work better than having an assistant."

Faleen smiled, still so pleased he thought so highly of her skills, as well as how equally pleased and excited about this change as she was.
Returning the lock of hair back behind her ear that had fallen out of place. "I'll make sure to read up on it once your finished, and talk to you about your expectations before any changes are made." she said Communication was important, and if he was her supervisor now, she would be talking to him, make sure she was going to be doing her job the way he wanted it done.
Though she would worry about that when she got the job description.
"Thank you, Hayes."

"Heh." The blond's gaze dropped downward, then met hers again. For a moment he rested his head against the base of his palm, returning her smile with his own - one of the rare softened ones filled with something gentle and indefinably fond.
Then he straightened up and reached for his laptop. "Episode seven?" he suggested.

While it had been... for the most part a professional discussion... with interjections of excitement.
But it was with that smile that he gave her... when the air relaxed back from the "on the job" sense. Those few seconds seemed to last forever, in that time she half forgot how to breathe.
It was only when she moved that she realized she had even been holding her breath. silently bewildered, and flustered for some reason.
She was probably just excited fort he job... yeah, that's what it was.
He spoke again, and she blinked, looking back up at him. "... yeah, we have enough time for another one." she shifted her seat over a bit, so she could see the screen better.
