"I remember very little from before the Fading... snatches here and there, but nothing of a First Tongue or training thereof." He shrugged, not sure what to say, "I am a being of the wilds, it could be either that I knew some of the First Tongue, with no need for written word, or that I knew none. We won't know until we try... practice may prove that you are better suited to the task then I."
He watched Phaedra jump down and arched brow, having noted Ashoka's drifting attention and spoke aloud, "Am I to deem the meeting concluded then, with each of us having our tasks?"

Her attention hadn't drifted completely away; she listened, she just did it while thinking about other things and playing with her feet. The latter in particular required very little actual attention. It was just a thing to do, mostly.
"You called it," she observed, chuckling, "So end it if you are finished."

Phaedra stretched, her pinions flaring behind her, then settled back, standing with one hand on her hip as she grinned at Glyph. "So formal, Forest. The Seer is wise." She sketched a bow in Ashoka's direction.
Tian Yue still looked thoughtful. "Indeed so. Let us request access to the tome, then, and see what comes of it. I will teach you or read to you, as the matter requires." As for the rest, the Dragon King merely smiled, nodding deferentially to Glyph as that faint grin played at the edges of his lips. Though it was much, much less potentially mocking than Phaedra's expression, of course.

Glyph puffed out his cheeks as he felt the mantle of leadership settle on his shoulders. Shaking his head, he smiled and gave a bit of a shrug - someone had to step up, didn't they? "Maybe I'll bring cookies and tea next time," he quipped, though he seriously considered doing so.
Rising as well, he felt the tug of the vines on his arm and, reminded of their attachment to him, uncoiled them and replaced the tendrils. Brushing off his trousers, Forest stretched as tall as he could - still small in comparison to his peers, a fact that always sent a frown curling through his mind; he did NOT like being short - and clapped his hands together. "Alright, then the meeting is concluded. We have our tasks - see to them. Meet again, here, in seven days now that we can count them again. A beautiful thing, the sunrise and wheeling of the stars."
Regarding Tian Yue he gestured at the archways leading into the Pantheon, "Shall we?"
