"Oh." Ark crossed his arms and said, "Are you looking for someone to stay with or something? Or can you not afford to live alone?" He somewhat thought he was being too personal, but he wasn't the one who brought it up.

Ark stared at Nezumi, still smiling. "Well, why don't you ask every person you encounter who doesn't seem dangerous? Or any friends or classmates you may have. I'd imagine a lot of people your age are getting ready to move out."

"Do they not like you because--" Ark cut himself off. Instead he said, "I don't see why you wouldn't find someone, if the place is good and there are some incentives. I don't know you, but you seem like the kind of person I wouldn't mind sharing a place with."
