Titus had been joking. Normally a girl was completely put off by the 'I'm a totally jackass hitting on you' bit, but somewhere something went totally wrong. The feel of her hands lightly touching his back and her words cooing into his ear....Titus was frozen. He could feel his face heating up and he was at a complete loss for what to say. While he could usually talk to talk, walking the walk was a whole other matter. This was territory yet explored and he could hear something in the back of his mind going 'Danger Laburnum, Danger!'

Then her tone changed, oh thank jack, normalcy again. How those cruel words made his heart a flutter with relief and glee. He was still a little stunned though, unable to react as she snatched the quill from behind his ear. That, however, did not aid her in her current position still trapped underneath him.

Trying to be quick Titus grabbed for the winged reaper's wrists to pin them to the floor. He tried to smile but it was hard to look menacing with a blush on his cheeks and...was that a bit of blood in his nose?

Despite his efforts the demon was unable to secure the Valkyrie's wrists. He soon found himself being pushed forward from behind rather forcefully and to avoid smashing his face into the floor tucked in. It forced him to roll and as luck or misfortune would have it Hel came along with him and in an instant their roles were reversed.

"If you wanted to be on top all you had to do was ask," Titus sneered. Apparently his near embarrassment wasn't going to keep him from spouting off more.

Titus looked to the feather Hel now held in her hand with semi-disinterest. What the ghoul didn't know was that wasn't the only one. Titus had managed to secure a total of four so that still left him with three. Besides, this round wasn't quite over, it was possible he could replace the feather taken with a nice new one. And oh look, he had color choices. Hmmm black or white. So hard to choose.

Hel had left him and Titus had just started to push himself up into a sitting position when the reaper strode back over and felt the need to take hold of the collar of his jacket. The eye like gem in the front gleamed a bright blue as his fear began to gather around his person.

At first the demon bared his teeth as if threatening to snap at her hand again like last time. He wasn't above giving her a good bite and his sharp teeth would show no mercy to her flesh. Shortly after she spoke though a smile ran tugged the corner of his lips. "Challenge accepted. Besides, I'll need a new quill." Hel didn't know he had more though she likely would when he showed up in class with another feather in tow.

Titus chuckled even as his back hit the floor with a loud thud. It knocked the wind out of him for a moment but as soon as he caught his breath his chuckling continued. "You are a fun one to play with, Kidget. We'll have to do this again sometime."

Titus stood then dusting himself off, the glow dimming but not going away completely. True he was a little out of his league with an upperclassmen but he really didn't care. The demon would take a few hits and bruises all in the name of fun. "I might even have another feather for you to try to snatch. If you dare to try~" Titus called. "We can discuss it later, over dinner perhaps."

"Too bad, pipscreech, but you're already part of the game," Titus was living this up. Hel's anger was so beautiful. He hoped to see her so angry again. "Besides, I don't even need the whore for what I already have."

Titus knew that was probably a good time to retreat, his wings hauling him back and toward the stairs. "Until later, Kidget." He offered a simple finger wiggling wave to Hel before he headed up and out of sight.
