Maybe she’d noticed he wasn’t the brightest bulb in the chandelier. Maybe she was just really patient. Maybe he shouldn’t be too surprised on either account. But he appreciated the both that extra reasoning was given, and the brevity of concision. “An excellent idea! Absolutely.”
Agreement reached, he was again glad that she wrote her number down. He fished his planner out of his messenger bag, and his phone, but made sure to concentrate while writing his own number on a slip from the planner to hand to her first. No need to test her patience further, making her wait for a number while he was double checking if he’d transferred hers correctly. “What is your time like, if you know? “
“I’ve got my planner to at least be able to give you days and times I’m open. School is in session again, which means 7-2:30 is taken out of week days. I train 5-7 and 2:30-6, but that can be skipped or cut short, or rearranged onto other days. It’s pretty flexible. The last shoot the photographer wanted early morning light, but it was spring so 6 in the morning was possible. It doesn’t even get light out right now until 7:30 or eight in the morning. “
He turned so that the planner open on his knee was visible to her as well, and flipped slowly over the pages for the next three weeks so that she could at least have an idea of his end. “Weekends are usually open except for training. As you can see, between training I’m usually trying to learn the city and all the best places for food. “
“It takes a lot of food to keep this trunk full, “ he laughed deep, but kept it low volume to not disturb the other patrons.
“By the way, what sort of shoot were you planning on for your own half of the bargain, if you know? “ He was curious what use she might have had for someone his size, since he ‘fit’ into ideas about as often as he fit in desk chairs.

Was it stereotyping to cast him as a Norse god? Would he find it racist? God, she hoped not. It was the only choice she felt she could make with him. He was perfect for the part with his huge body and muscles and that rope of a braid swinging down his back. She tried to imagine it again only to smile at the image. It was perfect for him even if she hadn't actually done it yet.
Then she pondered the question of scheduling. Of course he'd have a schedule to work around but she had space that was always available in her basement. And, of course, she had this job and the one at the library as Tony's assistant to consider. Neither would be pleased if she missed work to pursue her own agenda.
"My Sundays are the best times to consider. The library is closed and it's a toss up on whether I work here or not. I own my shooting space so I don't have to worry about that."
Anything more than that, really, they could work out over the phone and choose a specific day. If they decided enough in advance she could request it off from the coffee house and work that Saturday instead. It was no big deal in her mind. She was sort of loved at work and despite her occasionally (or, not so occasionally) self serving attitudes she was a rather hard worker. Though, it helped that she actually enjoyed her job.
"I was thinking of making you into a Norse God, actually." she admitted sheepishly. "Like Odin or Thor or something."
With Teddy she'd wanted to go with the lesser known Gods. With him she wanted the front and centers.

“Ah, that is good news about the space. Then there won’t be trouble trying to arrange a third schedule of a business in.” Renting spaces meant needing appointments and money and dealing with whether or not they were already booked up with some more pressing occasions like weddings or graduations. It also meant she must do photos a lot, even if it seemed mostly still just hobby and not business. Maybe that was good - it was still art to her and not diluted by want of money.
At mention of the Æsir, Björn had a hearty smile and a less-checked laugh. “Well, I cannot be offended. It is an honor. They are very great myths, very important to my heritage. And who doesn’t want a pretty photographer telling them they should be a god?”
He hoped she took it as the joke it was meant to be and not as him being full of himself. But really... it WAS a compliment. He must be doing something right with his training and general hygiene. He’d never seen a fashion magazine show a guy with hair as long as his, but plenty of people he met liked it better than if he would cut it short like all the magazines.

Pretty photographer. She didn't immediately think he was full of himself or think he was trying to be vain. She didn't miss the compliment and blushed scarlet though she was pretty sure that was the least suave thing to do one the planet. Way to play it cool, Harm, she told herself. She turned halfway away and waited for her color to begin to even out before she answered him.
"It's an easy connection to make, I think. You already look the part and I'll probably already have your shirt off. Might as well make use of it."
Since numbers were exchanged and things were more or less worked out she turned her violet eyes up to his and smiled. She had sketches to try and work on and concepts to plan. She wasn't much for drawing but she could convey a visual enough to where someone more talented than she was could follow it and make a better image. Only behind her camera did she feel secure.
"Anyway, call me soon and we'll pick a date and do this."
