"Another Focus Blast!" Zinnia shouted quickly.
Shadow brought her focus together as best as she could while zooming to one side of Tsukiya to dodge his attack, then darted back to unleash the powerful attack.

It seemed the Mew wasn't focused enough to use her attack, while trying to dodge the Umbreon at the same time.
"Arg, Toxic is just not working today." Pandii pouted. "Well, she spent all her time buffing herself up. Go ahead and Psych Up, Tsukiya!"
Tsukiya analyzed the Mew's stat changes, and copied them.

How tricky of them! "Focus Blast again, Shadow!" Zinnia commanded.
Shadow Mew was getting frustrated by all the misses, but she forced herself to calm down and focus on the attack. She was able to clear her mind of all thoughts but concentration, and released the attack once again.

Tsukiya's defense was lowered back to normal, but at least he wasn't in a handicap.

Tsukiya dashed up to the Mew and whacked her with his paw.

The powdery silver swirled around Shadow the instant after Tsukiya's punch landed. She winced from taking the damage, but hopefully this time the umbreon would not be able to avoid her attack.

The shimmering attack hit Tsukiya, this time.
"Tickle her again!" Pandii giggled.
There was a glimmer of annoyance in Tsukiya's eyes before he nudged the Mew around the neck again.

This time, Shadow was able to hold in her laughter, but man, did that tickle! She supposed that she was just lucky that it was only a tickling around her neck, and not a deadly bite. With such a grim thought, she quickly flew up toward the ceiling of the stadium to get out of Tsukiya's range.
"Aura Sphere!" Zinnia commanded. They couldn't afford any more misses, and it seemed that Shadow's concentration couldn't be relied on too heavily, especially right after another tickle attack.
Shadow Mew carefully flew down again, and a perfect sphere of bright, pulsating purple light erupted from somewhere in her chest, blasting down with complete accuracy at Tsukiya.

Tsukiya was hit by a purple light. He scrambled to his feet before sliding off the end of the floating platform.
"C'mon, Toxic!" Pandii tested her luck once more.
The Umbreon bounded towards the Mew.

The legendary pokemon managed to avoid being poisoned once again-- and very luckily, for that dosage had looked quite potent!
"Aura sphere!" shouted the blue-haired teenager from the trainer's stand.
Shadow swooped down, releasing another bright purple orb of light.

More purple attacks. Well, there's no way they were going to win this match, so why not make it a goal to try and poison the Mew, instead.

Shadow shuddered at the impact; once again, she felt the poison seep through her fur and into her system.
Oh no! Shadow wasn't looking too good. "Silver Wind!" she shouted. She clutched the rails in front of her, and hoped that it wouldn't miss.

Shadow staggered back through the air and was knocked down so low that the tip of her long tail broke the surface of the water. Startled by the sudden cold, she jolted back up and higher into the air.
"Hang in there, Shadow!" Zinnia shouted. Her poor mew had taken quite a bit of damage, and the battle was dragging on for longer than she had expected. But surely the umbreon wasn't doing any better. "Aura Sphere!"
Shadow released yet another ball of light, created by her own aura.

Tsukiya tried to run, but there was no out-running the aura., especially since he was basically trapped on small areas he was allowed to put his feet on.
"Hit her with it again!" Called out Pandii. She wasn't expecting to win, but she wasn't going to back down if her companion wasn't going to.
Tsukiya charged at the Mew.

"Aura Sphere again!" Zinnia commanded. The attack was consistent and reliable, at least, even if it was starting to get repetitive to say the same attack over and over. "It can't last much longer..." she muttered to herself, biting her lip. "Shadow is strong." It was reassuring to hear herself say it, but she couldn't help but still feel a bit worried. The battle wasn't over yet.
The purple ball escaped her body and struck Tsukiya after his punch hit.
