 Silveril Volce ________________________Silveril couldn't teach the boy/girl much when it came to emotions since Silveril spent most of his time alone.
However, he was certain that the boy/girl was simply mimicking what he had seen from other people since he seemed empty overall despite his attempts. His actions just felt very halfhearted.
"Well, if you practice doing that every time you get confused, it might start to come naturally to you." Silveril remarked. Silveril was examining the boy/girl. He was certain it wasn't a human. Humans were usually controlled by their emotions and the other species also had emotions too and they naturally frowned, laughed, or smiled. Silveril decided that he might try going to the library to figure out what this boy/girl was. But first, he ought to observe the youth a little more for more information to what it was. ________________________

There it was again. The eyebrows and the mouth. Although, it was a different story this time. Obviously, this teacher was exhausted by the way she dragged her feet and was slightly slumped. How could Snyder possibly forget? Body language was everything as well.
Golden eyes then focused onto the... male? He seemed very stoic and prim, and Snyder couldn't help but try to imitate that by straightening himself out. "Ah, I see... By the way, you're free to ask me a question." Yes, he could certainly tell that the other was curious about something judging by the intense staring because he was the type to do the same as well. Though, he made sure to ask, or else he'd never know. Oh! Right. He was confused, so that meant he should furrow his brows now.
And it’s all used for the same thing.
So why does one smell better than the other?

Silveril glanced at the youth. He leaned back on a table. "Since you are insisting... What are you?" Silveril asked.
Silveril and the youth might be similar since they both tended to observe everyone around them. However, their reasons were different. Silveril was merely observing out of curiosity while the youth seemed to be trying to fit in. It was as if... he didn't know his place yet.
Silveril noted that the youth suddenly changed his position, straightening his back and standing tall. Silveril figured that the youth was mimicking him. Silveril's lips twitched to smile when the youth attempted to frown.
What an awkward frown. ________________________

(( Snow. @_@ I've never seen real snow before.... Only the fake kind made from recycled sewage water. ))
"Papyran. And how about you.... sir? It is sir right? I've been trying to learn, but these labels are so hard to figure out." Snyder blinked, still trying to figure the whole eyebrow ordeal before giving up on it.
Instead, he went for trying to pinch his cheeks downwards to make himself frown, but why didn't it feel the same as the other? Hm. Try as he might, naturally consorting his face seemed too difficult. It was only easy when he used his hands to do it. Perhaps he should try stapling his lips into a frown? That could work.

Silveril Volce ________________________((I see snow too much in my life. ;^; Maybe I'll take a picture of my backyard and post it in the OOC topic. =D))
It was somewhat entertaining to watch this youth attempt a frown. Silveril couldn't help but pat the youth's head. "With practice you might get it down... maybe. Professor Volce is the proper title if you're at school, but if you can't remember that, you can just call me Silveril." Silveril never really cared much for labels. Everyone had names for a reason.
"I am a vampire. Usually, I shouldn't be able to go out in the sun, but I drank a potion to help me. It still impacts my health sometimes though..."
"I've never heard of a Papyran. Are you the only one of your kind or are there many of you?" ________________________

Silveril. That was easy to remember, but that gesture that he had done was such a foreign act to him. So, it was imminent that Snyder would stare at Silveril's hand before he snapped out of his trance in order to respond to him.
"That sounds very inconvenient, but it's a good thing that you're able to overcome the sun. Unfortunately, I'm unable to go near fire or water without being either burnt to ashes or wilting away into smithereens."
"There's plenty of us. In fact, I've only known of my own kind until I came out here. It's been enjoyable; however, your gender customs are stupid. In fact, why are there two sets of restrooms in the first place? Same with the dorms. I understand about rooming conditions, but to separate people based on appearance is ridiculous."

Silveril Volce ________________________"Perhaps there can be a potion that could help you. However, there are always weird side effects and they don't always last forever..." But it probably wouldn't change the fact that Snyder would still hate water and fire. Silveril was immune to the sun, but he had trouble enjoying it and still preferred to hide from it.
The youth's innocence was somehow unsettling. In fact, it discouraged Silveril to explain why there were seperate genders to Snyder. Perhaps he should leave it to someone else to explain it to the youth.

Potions wouldn't help. He knew that for sure from one reason. "In spite of the side effects, it sounds very useful. It's just a shame that I can't use it. It's a liquid, and will destroy my insides if I drink it." Snyder mentioned, unable to consume anything unless it was paper. After all, paper couldn't digest hamburgers right? If they did, that'd be a bit odd.
Of course, Snyder was curious as to why Silveril dodged the question, even slightly tilting his head to the side as he had once seen someone do on television which by the way was amazing to him. "Why would that be? Genders are simply a label. Male, female, does that really matter? Preferences I understand, but to divide people into categories with special customs? Isn't it unfair?

Silveril Volce ________________________It was easy for Snyder to think that. How in the world did paper mate with each other anyways? Silveril wasn't really interested to know though...
"Ah yes, you're right. I overlooked that potions were liquids." Silveril replied. It must be difficult then to be flammable and water soluble. It seemed worse than melting in the sun.
"The different genders have different needs. I'm sorry, but I can't say much else about it since I will probably only confuse you even more." Silveril said, shifting uncomfortably. ________________________

This issue was boggling his mind. Darn, he was having a gender crisis here! Snyder shook free of his thoughts, needing to clear room for more important matters such as why Silveril was being rather twitchy. "I understand what you mean. I may be naive about these particular matters, but I'm not stupid. Or at least, I hope I'm not. Anyway, is there something wrong? You're being awfully that. That thing. I'm not sure what it is exactly. But that."

Silveril Volce ________________________Silveril frowned. What did Snyder mean by that? "I don't quite understand what you mean by 'that.'" Silveril said. But Silveril was glad that he was dropping the subject. He really wasn't the best person to ask about the gender issue. It's not that Silveril thought that Snyder was stupid. He just felt uncomfortable about the topic and he wasn't sure if it would be okay to explain the issue with the genders and why they have to be separated without violating the 'keep it clean' rule for the guild.

'That.' How should he explain it? Sometimes, even Snyder couldn't make sense of himself. Maybe he should retract the stupid statement. "Nevermind. I don't understand either. Hm, you wouldn't perhaps have a stapler on hand would you? Since I can't seem to copy you, I want to see if I can simply staple my mouth into a frown of some sort."

Silveril Volce ________________________Silveril blinked. A... stapler. Well, perhaps since he's paper, stapling his face was very normal, but it seemed very... odd to Silveril.
But did Silveril always frown? It's true that Silveril rarely smiled, but he didn't think that he was always frowning. Perhaps it was because he was stuck interacting with people all the time rather than observing them. He wasn't used to conversations.
"Well there should be a stapler in this classroom. I would not know since this classroom doesn't belong to me." Silveril answered.
((Yup. It's hard to keep a conversation going with Silveril since his character was originally meant to be the facepalm guy when people are being idiots or the guy who just observed a scene most of the time and add in a comment or two to keep things going. x_X)) ________________________
