Alexis' giggle caught Endymion off-guard; perhaps he would have asked about it had he the nerve to, or were not currently experiencing the reason for the giggle in the first place. What, did she find this situation funny? Did something... what, randomly tickle? Best not to ask, he told himself, giving himself a way out, They're strange enough as it is, maybe it's just because of that. However, when they both started laughing, he considered that maybe it was because the ralts-girl had anticipated what he was going to say. Regardless, the laughter, at both times, surprised and confused him, all at once. <<So...>> he stated, in partial disbelief, <<this sort of thing is... fairly common?>> He thought that individuals would learn from their mistakes... but perhaps Sasha found falling into embarrassing situations a hobby? Well, he supposed he'd heard of weirder... Hm. No, scratch that. Sasha's had to take number one weird hobby, if that was the case.
<<Heh,>> Endymion found the laughter, caught up in the bickering, contagious despite himself. He couldn't understand the majority of what the hybrid poké-girl was saying, maybe, but the reactions gave enough ground to stand on. Or maybe it was tattered nerves, he couldn't be sure, but he wasn't going to complain if it helped lighten the situation a little.
He could tell that tensions had risen a little between the two girls, however, so paused his laughter for a brief moment. He could understand Sasha's final statement on the matter, and despite being just a bit afraid of Alexis, offered feedback, <<Being afraid of something isn't a crime. There have been plenty of instances wh-->> He shut his trap, and any instigation of laughter that he felt evaporated. He was suppose to be intimidating, not admitting ANY sort of fear to anyone! Let alone someone he was actually afraid of...
He nearly pitched over when Sasha's tongue released it's hold on him, stumbling to catch his balance. Perhaps he had been pulling a little too hard, if that were the case, but being frazzled left him with little in the way of focused concentration on the situation-at-hand. It was all he could do to keep his wits. <<Ah, finally!>> he coughed out, rubbing a wrist to where Sasha's tongue had previously resided. He paused a moment before he was able to swallow his fear again, turning to Alexis, <<Err... thank you, I mean.>> He was free!

“Well,” Lexi began, “it depends on what you mean by this sort of thing. If you mean licking Pokémon, then yes, she does it all the time.” At the last bit, she couldn’t help but roll her eyes; she was not a fan of Sasha’s licking. Also, she highly doubted the other girls claim that she could use it to determine a Pokémon’s type. It only worked on what was obvious. “Though” she continued, “if you mean getting stuck to other Pokémon, then no, this is a first. If you mean looking ridiculous, then most certainly yes. The human we live with, Celes, her job is as a nurse. Sasha’s job is, well, looking ridiculous. Sasha is good at her job!” Sasha, despite having her tongue stuck, couldn’t help but laugh as Lexi’s comment; it was a loud laugh and practically seemed to echo.
“You’re welcome,” Lexi replied, smiling at the Scyther. Caught up in the moment as she was, Lexi continued, without thinking, “And you’re right, we all get afraid at times. But you don’t need to be right now; I wouldn’t hurt you.” Then, as soon as she uttered that last word, she realized what she had just said. Mentioning his fear had probably not been a good idea. “I, um mean, you’re not afraid; I don’t know what I was saying. I’m not sensing any fear from you, I, uh, can’t sense anything, nope, closed book, I can’t sense anything; I don’t even have the ability to sense emotions; I don’t know what I was saying.” After that, she seemed to emit a nervous half laugh. What did I just say?!
Sasha, confused by this exchange, remained silent on the matter. She was just happy to be free! “I can talk again!” she happily exclaimed, before hugging Endymion. “We are free!”

Endymion gave Alexis -- and Sasha, with a sideways glance -- an incredulous look. It was almost a disbelieving one, but really, was it so hard to imagine? Well... okay, it was a little difficult to understand why someone would do things like that, but that's just because embarrassment wasn't often something a person sought out for themselves. Despite the confusion, the laughter was a bit contagious, and End found himself smirking when attempting not to laugh.
He frowned at Alexis' examination of fear, not catching onto the correlation it had to the matter at first. <<Afraid? Why would I--?>> he started, a bit snappish at first before it dawned on him. He stood rigid in place again, and might have turned pale if he were capable of it. Did she just..? It was at this point that Endymion went from being fairly intimidated by Alexis to skyrocketing into the "utterly terrified of her" zone.
It didn't help when Sasha latched onto him in her exuberance. If he hadn't been so panicky, he would have put up with the action better. However, tried to wiggle out of her grasp almost before she even touched him, <<I-I gotta go. Sorry.>> It took all of his effort to say anything coherent, let alone polite.

Lexi felt horrible, the little scyther seemed so insecure and she only made it worse. She should have never mentioned sending his fear, but it had just come out. Now the little guy seemed downright terrified. She had never intended for that to happen. She wanted to say something, something to help appease his fears. She was worried though that she would only make it worse. This was definitely not going well.
Sasha, however, seemed to have the ability to be completely oblivious to emotions. She couldn’t even tell that Endy was uncomfortable in her embrace, even though a normal person or Pokémon might be able to. Squeezing him tight in her excitement, she barely heard his words. “Wait, huh? You have to go already?” Loosening her grip, she stood face to face with the scyther, her face markedly sad. “But, we just met…and you have to go so soon?” After pausing for a moment, she suddenly exclaimed, “Well then, we should be sure to meet again! Right Lexi?”
Lexi half laughed in response. She would like to meet the boy again, he seemed nice enough, but she doubted he would be up to it and, even if he was, she was certain she would only manage to screw it up even more. “Sure,’ she quietly added, a slight smile spread across her lips, “that would be nice.”

If he hadn't been having such a panic attack, Endymion would have surely seen the distress his actions were causing Alexis and would have acted to correct the notion. However, he was much too scared, and much too self-conscious to consider it. All he wanted was to get out of there and give himself some breathing room. His fear was making him feel almost claustrophobic, and it was too much.
He fidgeted, nearly bolting when Sasha released his grip on him. However, he caught the look she pointed at him, and realized that he shouldn't leave right this second. Just... the next second. <<Umm... yes?>> he attempted to assure. It might not have been too convincing, but it was good enough. He inched back, looking at both of the girls. Wincing inwardly, he temporarily pushed his fear back as much as he could, stating in reference to ever meeting again, <<It's... possible. Nix, he travels all over.>> He turned his eyes away; that nearly physically hurt him to say, especially when his terror was back in full force with a vengeance when he was finished.
Without thinking about the meaning behind the words, as he turned to leave he tossed a last (reactionary) affirmative, <<It would. See you.>> He winced again, but tried to hide it as he took off. Why'd I say that? No it wouldn't!

Lexi found her saddened by his departure. She would have liked to have made a new friend, but she was worried she had merely scared him off. The thought was alien to her; her scaring someone? It seemed almost silly. She was the one that was supposed to be afraid of new people. She heard his reply to possibly meeting again, but based on his feelings at the time, she couldn’t help but think he was merely saying that; that he was merely trying to be nice before fleeing. She still hoped that they might run into each other sometime.
Sasha waved as he departed; she looked forward to meeting him again. She didn’t have her companion’s doubts. He might have tasted bitter, but there was a hint of sweetness hidden inside. She would like to get to know this Endymion better. Though, for a moment, she found herself wondering how the heck his name was spelled. It seemed like a very difficult word.
After the Scyther’s departure, there was a moment of silence between the two girls. It was broken by the sound of a snowball flying through the air and crashing into Lexi.
“No fair Sasha! I wasn’t ready!”
