Intrigued by Dea's comment, Lexi asked, "Um, then what kind of human are you? I mean since you said you aren't a normal one... I didn't know there were different types of humans..." She of course knew that there were many types of Pokemon, but the thought that there also might be different types of humans caught her off guard.

"Yeah," Sasha chimed in, "what kind of human are you?" She was also curious of how Dea would answer, but then something that Eilam said set her off giggling.So far, every poke human she had met had started out as a little kid, she couldn't help but wonder if this would happen to Eilam as well. "Um," she started, barely able to talk through her giggles, "if you were to change, would you become a little kid like us?"

Hearing Sasha's question, Lexi's eye widened and she burst out laughing.

Lexi was excited to hear Dea’s explanation. She definitely understood such abilities. She couldn’t read minds, but she could sense emotions! It was how she knew it was safe to trust Sasha and so many of her other friends. “Really? You can read thoughts and emotions? I can’t really read thoughts, but I can sense emotions!”

Sasha was always intrigued by Lexi’s ability to sense emotions. She wasn’t exactly envious, but did think it would be a very useful ability to have.

“So what would happen if you were turned into a child?” Sasha inquired. She couldn’t help but wonder if the powers of such a powerful Pokémon would be diminished during such a transformation.

“I have always been able to sense emotions; it can be helpful,” Lexi replied with a smile. Turning to Eilam, Lexi continued, “Well, if you do change, I am sure you will be fine! It is actually quite nice. I use to always be scared and on the run. Since changing, I feel safer and I have made new friends!”

Sasha couldn’t really give a reply to Lexi’s comment. She enjoyed her current form, but she had no memories before it. She had nothing to compare it to. She was happy though, that seemed to be what was important.

Suddenly, Lexi was hit like a flash. She suddenly recalled why she was here in the first place. “Um, you haven’t seen any berry bushes around have you?”

Sasha’s eyes widened at the question. “Yes, have you seen any berries?”

“Really?” the two girls answered, in unison, clearly excited that there were berries present. Turning to Sasha, Lexi exclaimed, “I told you there would be berries here! I just knew!” She was clearly quite proud to be proven correct. The fact that the first few attempts to find berries had proven fruitless did nothing to deter her mood. None of that mattered now, they had found berries!

Giggling, Sasha replied, “You mean finally you’re right. You said you were sure the last 5 places had them as well!”

“Well, all of that is what led us here, that is what’s important!”

Turning back to Dea and Eilam, Lexi explained, “Well, we aren’t really hungry, well Sasha is, she is always hungry. There is always room for a few berries though, right?” She just loved berries, especially the sweet ones. They were oh so tasty!

“Plus, we will know where to get some berries later as well!” Sasha added. She tended not to think things out in the long run; she lived more in the moment. Berries, though, were different. She had no problem planning out locations to get berries in the future.

“Well, we do have berries back at home,” Lexi explained. “Celes keeps them on the counter for us. She also keeps some in the fridge and in the freezer. The ones from the freezer don’t taste as good though.”

“Yeah, the fresh ones taste much better,” Sasha agreed. There really was nothing like a fresh berry. She oh so loved the taste and the texture, everything about them. If Dea had been listening to Sasha’s thoughts, her love of berries would be quite obvious.

“Special container?” Lexi asked. “You mean like Tupperware? Or something even better?”

“We live with Celes,” Lexi replied, “She is a human, but she isn’t our trainer.”

“She takes care of us,” Sasha chimed in. She then added, with a giggle, “Well, mostly she takes care of Lexi. I’m independent! She lets me live in her house though. It’s nice and safe there, and it has indoor plumbing!”

Lexi rolled her eyes at Sasha’s comment. She knew that Celes took just as much care of Sasha as herself, but she let it slide. “So it is like a thermos and Tupperware? Where can we get some? That sounds useful!”

“I wish we had a container like that…” Lexi began, “it sounds useful, very useful!” She imagined that barriers would stay fresh for a while in those. She could of course put other things in them, but berries were the first thing to come to mind.

Sasha, though, had other ideas. She of course loves berries, but another thought popped into her head. “Um, how cold does it keep things? Could I keep snow in there? Would it keep the snow nice and cold and snowlike?”

Turning to Sasha, Lexi asked, “You aren’t thinking of saving some snow to throw a snowball at me, are you?”

Sasha just giggled in reply.

In response to Eilam, Lexi stated, “Well, it’s nice. I wouldn’t want a trainer, but living with Celes…well… I like it.”
