Velasco pulled his wings up and blocked the view of all the humans from her sight. "(Listen to me very very closely. Humans do not catch pokemon in pokeballs to eat them. They catch them to be their friends, to make a bond that wouldn't happen otherwise. You need to calm down. Look at me. I was caught in a pokeball just like you....a long time ago, and am still very much alive and well.)"

"(... Really?)" Pikachirisu asked, not quite daring to believe the murkrow. It sounded too good to be true; why would a human go through such trouble just to make a friend? That definitely wasn't how it was done in the wild.
She looked back at Gepardo. He hadn't tried to eat her yet... which gave some proof to back up Velasco's words. She edged closer to Velasco, feeling safer next to a pokemon that she had seen in the wild, now that she was trapped indoors.

Velasco nods quickly. "(Yeah, why would anyone go through all that for a meal? Humans can just go down to this place and buy whatever they want to eat. Like this berry)" He picked up from the bowl and put it in front of her. "(It was bought at that place the humans call a 'market', cause other humans grown them to feed humans. So you see, why would they go to the trouble of catching pokemon to eat when they can just go get it at the 'market' place?)"

Pikachirisu sniffed at the berry carefully before picking it up in her paws and biting into it. It tasted good! "(Maybe you're right,)" she said, greedily eyeing the other berries. Contrary to Gepardo's beliefs, she was not overweight, but food has and always would be her weakness. She risked creeping closer to the human so that she could start devouring the berries that lay in the bowl, though she ignored the one in Gepardo's hand. She stuffed as many berries as she could manage into her mouth before scampering back to the far side of the table to eat them one by one. She kept her eyes carefully on Gepardo, in case he made any sudden moves.

Velasco nodded and watched her closely. "(There really isn't anything to fear from Gepardo, he is rather nice, if a bit on the grumpy side....)"
Gepardo slowly takes out his pokedex and tries to see what the odd pokemon was. "Unknown, huh.....looks like a pachirisu and a....pikachu?" He muttered under his breath, trying to figure out, letting the pokedex scanned her again. "Maybe you are a hybrid..."

"Pikachirisu!" Pikachirisu told Gepardo, dribbling berry juice. The berries easily won her over, and once she had stuffed herself with what she had stolen, she scampered back to investigate what was left in the bowl.
"(He has a lot of food,)" she said to Velasco. "(I guess you were right about the Mark-it.)" Whatever a Mark-it was. Was it a place where humans marked their territory? But why would they get food there? It seemed like she had a lot to learn! "(I don't mind being friends with Grumpy Gepardo, if he will give me more berries,)" she added, dipping a greedy paw into the bowl and feeling much more comfortable.

Gepardo jumps a bit at the cry. "Oh..so..you are a hybrid...." Eyes the pokeball that belong to the pikachirise, the greedy breeder/watcher part of him was screaming that this was not a pokemon that should be return to the wild, that it should be study and understood. "...." He grabbed a berry and tried to hand it to her, he couldn't reason in keeping this pokemon, no matter what, if she was terrified of him.
The murkrow let out a laugh at that. "(Careful with those berries....you'll put on a ton if you keep that up)"

Pikachirisu shot a glare at Velasco. A bit offended by his claim, she crept slowly up to Gepardo. Her nose quivered at the smell of his hand and the berry in it, and she cautiously stretched her head out and took a bite out of the berry that he was holding, using her sharp incisors.
She smiled up at Gepardo when he didn't kill her, and took the rest of the berry before starting to lick up the juices that had dribbled onto his fingers. It seemed that humans weren't so bad after all! She was starting to feel a little stuffed, though, so she flopped onto the table with a happy sigh.

Gepardo chuckled softly when she took the berry. That was good, she wasn't afraid of him, at least not as horribly as before. He picked her pokeball and put it near her. He wonder whenever it was right or not to keep the hybrid, as a watcher, he could study a new pokemon species that might just be budding in the wild. As a breeder, he wanted to duplicate this result, but neither pachirisu, nor pikachu were dark pokemon, he had to question that is probably near impossible to get this specimen out of one breeding pair....So...maybe he could find a ditto or a trainer with a pachirisu or pikachu to breed her with and see what it resulted in, a new species or a was she just a genetic hiccup? The man rubbed his head lightly at the headache he was inducing upon himself.

Pikachirisu was a little nervous when he pulled out the pokeball, but she sniffed it, too, when he just set it beside her. It didn't seem so bad. It hadn't hurt to be captured, after all, and in the end she had come out to a pretty nice place with lots of food. Pokeballs weren't dangerous, at least.
"(Hey, Murkrow,)" Pikachirisu said. "(You said the human's name was Gepardo, right? Do you have a name? Is that pokemon over there also Gepardo's friend?)" she asked, waving a paw in the sleeping sableye's direction.

The breeder seemed happy with the curious reaction and just sat there, watching her.
"(hmm?)" He hopped closer to her. "(Yes, that's his name. I am Velasco, thought he just calls me Velas....)" He looked at the napping sableye. "(that's also Gepardo's......His name is Nishant, he is not very fond of being up during daylight hours. Very nocturnal...)"

"(Gepardo, Velas, Nishant,)" Pikachirisu repeated, to make sure she wouldn't forget. "(I am Pikachirisu,)" she added.
With the introductions over with, she curled up into a ball, putting her fluffy tail over her nose. Her bright, inquisitive eyes peeked around the spikes on it to stare right back at Gepardo.

Gepardo rested his forearms and head on the table, watching her. He reached over slowly, resting a hand close to her and stroking her tail with one single finger. "Hmm....."
Velasco could already read the man's mind, and he suppose the like pachirisu will be going nowhere near the wild any time soon unless next to the breeder.

Pikachirisu considered biting Gepardo as his hand neared her tail, but she thought better of it; the motion was slow and didn't seem very threatening. When he stroked it, though, her head popped up as if she had just received an electric shock (or perhaps a different kind of shock, as an electric shock wouldn't have much effect on an electric pokemon such as herself...).
When he repeated the motion, she got up and butted her head into his palm and rubbed against it like a cat. She had never been petted before, but she could already tell that she loved it. It made her feel safe and warm inside, and simply felt good! It was like being groomed by her family, and was a bonding experience that she relished.

He chuckled softly and began petting the hybrid pokemon gently, rubbing behind her ears. "You like that huh?" He kept gently rubbing down her back. "What to call you...." He murmured under his breath, thinking.
