Jeremy's attempt to follow along only seemed to push Jerry forward with enthusiasm.
"They might burn us,
They might bite us,
They might curse and scratch and- Eh?"
He stopped his singing, (Thankfully) as it registered in his highly caffeinated mind that Bix was trying to catch his attention, "Er, yes?"

"Ummm maybe we should be doing drills or something?" Bix squeezed the pillow in his hands again. "You know we are the front line sort of hunters.. we do the fighting mostly?"
Bix scratched his head because Jerry was still just staring at him with an expression that clearly read 'say it quick so I can go back to singing'.
"Maybe we should run some drills?" He then had a thought. "We can sing WHILE we drill! Like in the army?"

Jerry's eyes suddenly widened and positively sparkled, "That's a brilliant idea!! Alright!" He turned to the other Suns who had unfortunately not taken any previous opportunities to bolt, "Trainees, up and at 'em! I hope you remember the lyrics!"

The sing-a-long is cut tragically short as the ground begins to tremble, as if something incredibly large and heavy was making it's way toward them. This was some Jurassic Park s**t, okay? From the trainees' phones, an alarm begins to ring, followed by Clarice's voice.
"Aberrant Life Form has breached the Inner Wards. All hunters to defensive stations. Aberrant Life Form has breached the Inner Wards. All hunters to defensive stations. Aberrant Life Form has breached the Inner Wards. All hunters to defensive stations. Aberrant Life Form has breached the Inner Wards. All hunters to defensive stations..."

Tedan just simply stared at Jerry when the other suddenly started singing. Something that he'd clearly made up ... maybe right on the spot?? ... a kind of theme song, he guessed. Uuuuhhh, and they were supposed to sing along? Erm.
Thankfully, Bix stopped him before the madness went too far. I mean, Tedan was fine with music and singing and all, he'd even offered to join Jerry's glee-club or whatever a little while back. But this seemed kind of ridiculous. And then Bix suggested that they drill and sing at the same time. Okay, what?
"Uhm. I think that if you want it to be like the army does, the song needs to be uuuh. A little different?" he suggested, raising his hand a bit. "I mean, their songs are stuff like 'sound off, one two, sound off, three four' and all that. Not so. Complicated."

"Complicated?" Jerry looked crestfallen, but those feelings of disappointment would have to wait. A deep rhythm in the ground made him lower the guitar, his brows furrowing just as Clarice's voice resonated from their cell phones. "Oh... goodness... er... P-perhaps we should... summon our weapons?" The guitar was quickly tucked safely into it's case.

The thumping grew louder, and louder, and then louder still. Above the fiels, a massive form appeared. The goodnews is that it wasn't a T-Rex, the bad news is that it'll probably hurt you all anyways.
Actually..
Make that definitely, for when it sees the trainees, as first it only stares, confused, and then it's blue eyes glow even brighter and it begins to swing it's long, powerful arms.BOSS FIGHT BOSS FIGHT: ITS PROBABLY NOT JULIE: 50/50 - Characters have unlimited turns to attack, but each time they attack, they take an even 10 damage to THEMSELVES. Make sure to add up their HP value and damage accordingly, and to update the boss's HP with the damage they've done at the bottom of their post. - They may use charged attacks as they wish as well, as long as they have the charges for it

"YES WE SUMMON OUR WEAPONS!" Bix yelled, slightly manic for a moment. It wasn't because he was scared of the monster or what it could do, though when he thought about this later and the fact that there were almost no medical professions on the island right now, he may have thought through his actions a little bit better. "I doubt this thing came to be your tambourine player!"
Calm down snowflake! Mina flashed into his hand. At some point since he'd been promoted she'd changed, gaining extra gems and feathers. He was still not used to the look.
I AM CALM. Ok. I'm calm. But we are in charge. We need to do this right.
"Everyone! Weapons out and do your thing. Ranged attackers please cover our close range friends." He was trying to be a leader right now but by thinking about it he was just becoming unsure of himself. Best way to cure that? Throw yourself towards the enemy.
Bix ran forward a bit, getting the beast's attention while the others prepared themselves. He strafed sideways, quick-firing a line of arrows which dotted red across the massive arm of the creature. That same arm soon swung at him and despite appearing like he was too far away to be hit, he found himself knocked onto his back with the wind knocked out of him.
"Watch.. watch it's..." he coughed. "Hits hard!"

Jeremy still tried to keep singing, but his lyrics were all wrong and way off key (this part was on purpose, but as nobody had heard him sing before it was possible he was just that bad). The sudden alarm startled him, and the impact tremors were somewhat alarming; when the...thing came, he shouldn't have been surprised.
"Holy elaborate." He commented off handedly, drawing his chained pocketwatch from his jacket to summon Elsie, the weighted fire piece landing heavily on the ground at his feet.
"Gotcha bossman~" The chain was swung and lashed out in a whip at the flailing arms; he hit the...whatevertheshit that was, but he was cuffed by the beast as well. "HE'S NOT KIDDING!" He informed his team mates that had yet to attack.
"Got any songs for this one, Buddy?" He shot to Jerry, back to swinging Elsie's long chain to try and keep the Sasquatch at bay.

Tedan's eyes went wide as quite suddenly some kind of huge beast-thing lumbered on up into their "training" session like it belonged there. Or not. And when he saw just how hard it was hitting, he gulped slightly before summoning Ardavan and holding the huge axe at the ready.
"Hey ugly!!" he yelled then, and charged the creature. However, despite the thing's size it was apparently fairly light on its ... feet?? ... and turned toward Tedan, roaring in his face. Then it swiped at him with a massive forearm, flinging the dark-haired trainee several feet away.
Tedan hit the ground hard and rolled over a couple of times, then coughed slightly. "Ow ...."

"It looks like it could be a pretty mean tambourine player. If it wanted to. Spread out, guys, we don't want to be hitting each other." Jordan wasn't sure what to feel about the disruption. On one hand, sudden giant monster. On the other - awkward situation well and truly interrupted. He summoned Ferros and dodged under the beast's massive paw, swinging at its other forelimb.
The thing seemed to object to being attacked. Surprise, surprise. The arm he'd attacked jerked sideways to brush him aside like an annoying insect. He landed hard; it took him a moment to catch his breath, but then he was on his feet again, moving aside to give the long-range weapons a clearer line of fire.
HP: 30/40

Jerry scrambled to position himself between the precious instruments and the beast, Roar materializing in green light on his shoulder as he swung his canon around, "ALRIGHT EVERYONE! DOING GREAT! JUST KEEP FIRING!" His own voice didn't have the edge Bix's did, but it was filled with manic panic.
It was ok, though, because Roar had a few words of his own that crashed into the beast with an unintelligible howl.
The beast roared, swinging a massive arm across the field and Jerry went tumbling with a groan.
HP: 40/50

Tedan landed near to Bix so he offered the trainee a hand and yanked him up. "You are thinking about it too much.. You think you are hurt worse than you are. Thank your weapon for the hearty FEAR sheild." He patted him on the back and continued to move.
He was looking for a clear shot and glad to see the heavy hitters landing solid blows. After Jerry let loose (he'd never seen Jerry fail with that bazooka) he took the opportunity to unload another swift volley of arrows. This set dotted across the monster's chest but once again Bix was swatted away like a pest.

Tedan offered Bix a quick grin for the hand up and nodded. "I know, I just wasn't expecting the damn thing to hit quite that hard, he muttered, shaking his head as if to clear it out a little. And even if the abominable snow-monster over there did hit him like that every time he attacked, it didn't matter. This was the job. The island was their home and he wasn't about to let Ugly over there get any farther.
"Okay, Arda here we go again ..." This time, he managed to get in a rather more solid hit before the counterattack - which he was expecting now. And because he was prepared for it, Tedan just rolled back up to his feet and glared at the monster. It would take more than this to keep him down, dammit!

"Good shot," Jordan called to Bix - it looked like the white-haired man had gotten in a good rain of hits on the creature. His shout attracted the thing's attention, though, and its paw came down again, swatting Jordan flat.
But he'd been expecting it this time, and as soon as the creature moved again, he was back on his feet, Ferros snarling gleefully as the hammer slammed hard into the yeti's fur.
