"Ah... yes! Yes, we should find her, then! Immediately!" He hadn't met someone named Molly... a hatchling maybe? Hopefully whoever she was could help him stop Jude from attempting to drown himself. "It's too cold out to go swimming just now anyway, ahahaha!" He accepted the hug awkwardly but used the moment to throw an arm around Jude's shoulders to try to drag him back up the path.

Judith nodded excitedly, "Ariane might miss me if I left too but I think she just likes to tease me, she is a very silly girl," he observed as he let Jeremy pretty much drag-and-lead him up the path again. There were others, maybe. Possibly.
"You are a good friend Jerry. Helping me get back to my Kingdom by helping me say good bye to everyone," Judith said happily.

"You don't... HAVE to go, you know... since... you ARE a very good Hunter. I don't see any real reason to go, but if you're afraid of all this..." Jerry was grappling for anything to talk about. Maybe... he had unhinged from intensive Killzone Therapy? Jerry had a habit of.... going elsewhere mentally when things got too hard to swallow, he knew now anyway, and was *working on it*, but seeing someone else seemingly having some sort of coping mechanism broke his heart. "You do look like er..." His eyes glanced up to the bright red hair and he pushed his glasses up his nose, "You've been through a lot lately. If you just needed someone to talk to, my door's always open, you know-"
Little did he know bandaids and mechanical dolphins but his heart was in the right place.

"Oh. I have to go, Jerry. I am a Princess of the Dolphins and they need me," he said dreamily as he walked along with Jerry with his expression just as distant as his tone was. "The woman helped me by bandaging my wounds and the Sage helped me by awakening my inner most true self. I fear nothing."
That was probably as best as Jerry was going to get for an explanation. Things about bandages and awakenings.
It also revealed light on how Jude currently looked upon himself as an individual right now, it was likely he'd deny it all later, "Thank you though for looking out for me. I will be refreshed once I join my people!"

"Er..." Jerry blinked as his babbling unfortunately backfired. Drat!! And they had almost gotten back to the path! "Look, Jude, don't be silly, it's dangerous out there-" His grip tightened on the young man's shoulders, and he glanced back frantically, hoping someone, anyone would happen to walk by.

If he noticed the tightening of grip on his shoulder or even any sort of frantic behavior it didn't show right now. Judith hummed softly as he walked along, "It is dangerous everywhere, Jerry," he said in a rather cheerful voice but he seemed to still be listening to Jerry since Yom could not reach him right now.

Jerry was pulled along by Jude's determination, his feet scrambling in the sand to try to pull him back. The waves lapped dangerously close, "Yeah but I mean... r-really dangerous! Like ah... drowning and sharks and... er.... knowing *here* more horrible things- a superior Hunter yelled at me for going out too far with a Frisbee a month or so back-" And had taken said Frisbee away. He didn't know if it was the ocean or the playful intention that had been the problem, but in either case he didn't want to take chances. Especially with an icy wind whipping at his coat off of the water. Heck, hadn't it SNOWED the other day?

The Princess stopped and then looked at Jerry for a long moment. It was cold. Very cold.
... .. ..
And it was dangerous but his Pod. He stared out over at the ocean for a long moment with a small bit of a frown before he looked over at Jerry again, "Can we sit at the beach for a while at least?"
For now Jude was content with that.

"Ah! Sure! Sure! It's ah! A beautiful beach, really!" He sighed with relief. Maybe just a bit of rest and... whatever it was would wear off! Yeah, hopefully. He thought of shrugging out of his coat for them to sit on, but with the wind as it was... they could deal. Jude wasn't REALLY a princess. "Uh! Y'know, Candy gave me a guitar for Hanukkah- we could go get it if you wanted!" Anything to buy time, even if he didn't really want to get it all sandy.

"It is, oh...I should say good bye to Harrison, as well." It seemed since talking about people that were friends he seemed to be considering others without saying so out loud despite the conversation having moved on since then.
He reached up and ruffled his reddened hair, "Oh I am a selfish Princess, aren't I? I forgot about Harrison but what if he doesn't consider me a friend?"
That opened a whole new bottle of awkward.
"Oh! Delightful! A guitar but it would get so messy if you brought it down to the beach that would be a shame..." Jude pouted a bit. Obviously he recognized the importance of such a gift to think of it without even having it mentioned.
"I got Molly a fiddle for Christmas. I hope she liked it," he chattered happily seeming gleeful about chattering Jerry's ear off.

"Oh, Harrison is a great guy! Of course he's your- wait." Jerry's head jerked over to stare intently at the bubble-eyed, red-haired psudo-princess. "Someone else on the island.... can play an instrument? And... and... HAS ONE? WHO IS THIS MOLLY?"

Judith stared at over at Jerry for a long while with wide surprised eyes. "Molly is a lovely creature, she has curly reddish hair, and freckles. You cannot miss her she radiates with kindness and sweet nature." Judith said as hands rose to cover his blushing cheeks and letting out a small giggle, "She is very nice to talk to! She reminds me of someone I knew..." *u*
Yeah.
Apparently as a 'princess' Jude is very straight and might very much like this Molly person.

Jerry raised his brows at the sudden bashful nature.
Alright... maybe he was... taking advantage of the situation a little. He felt like he was imposing. But as long as he'd known Jude, he'd always been so... reserved. It was nice seeing him come out of his shell! Whatever Killzone and whoever else had seen him today had done to him, it was clearly for the best. A method to madness. He smiled suddenly, "You can't introduce us if you throw yourself in the ocean, you know. And by the sounds of it... you like her, don't you? You'd leave her behind too?"

Judith stared at Jerry for a long moment and then nodded, "I'll introduce you two before I leave to my Kingdom," he insisted cheerfully at his friend. Though at the question he simply paused as he reached to pick up piles of sand and let it fall between his fingertips.
"She is very kind. I like kind people, sweet people. There seems to be very few genuine people in the world," he said with a serious tone. A thoughtful one. "She reminds me of someone important to me and so...I wouldn't want to leave her behind...."
...But his people...
Suddenly he was conflicted.

BINGO he was making progress! Jerry was absolutely proud of himself. Now he had planted the doubt, surely a bit of poisonous sarcasm would seal the deal and show him just how silly he was being. Maybe even snap him out of it with pure LOGIC. Yes.
"Well, if you are so set on leaving maybe you aughta' do it right now. Leave everything here behind. Just swim away with er... your fishy brethren. It'll be too hard to leave if you don't go now. I'll take good care of Molly. Bye!" And he stood up, dusting himself off as though ready to leave. In theory, Jude would be outraged by the thought, demand he stay away from this girl he clearly liked, and storm off towards her immediately to confess his feelings and leave whatever this dolphin nonsense was behind him. At least that's how it played out in Jerry's head.
