Aratoinetta's spine went ridged, and she felt ill to her stomach. What was a non-gypsy doing here? In their camp? "Lulu, don't talk to strangers." Ara hissed under her breath, her gray eyes burrowing into the stranger, panic clear in her eyes. She gripped at her sister's hands protectively. Why was Po being so nice to him? He wasn't one of theirs. And then the wolves howled; it made her skin crawl and she shivered.

Po accepted the gift that Lulu held out."Its beautiful, as usual, Mo Shearc." she smiled at the sweet girl. And she didn't mind the wolves, they naturally stayed away from humans, or witches in their case. "My name is Po." she said in a kind tone, but her expression told him though she was nice, that did not make her weak. For Ara's sake, who had clearly not taken well to the newcomer, she said. "Though you may not be blood, any wanderer, is in his soul a gypsy, and thus welcome in any gypsy camp, as long as you do not make yourself a threat. This is, of course, a gypsy camp. The Gypsy House, traveling with the Carnival Hypnotick, and is a sanctuary to any passing or lingering gypsies."she explained, then gave a quick, but hardened look in Aratoinetta's direction to tell her to be nice, he had not threatened them in any way, it was rude to treat a Gypsy Soul as if he did not belong. For gypsies, social life was important, they naturally didn't like being alone. Maybe he did, but then maybe he had not spent enough time with other gypsies to really know what it was like, to belong to a whole race. It was a beautiful thing.

To think.......
:::::::::::: "Carnival.....Hypnotick?" She had spoken about how a wanderer had the heart of a gypsy and was welcome as long as they were not making themselves a threat. ".....gypsy......." The word was very strange to him as if he never knew of the word before. He looked at the place he was in and then back at the three girls. Before he could speak again however as though to inquire more about them he collapsed and passed out from exhaustion.

Lulu lurched forward to prevent him from falling to the floor. She just barely stopped him, and slowly lowered him onto the floor. "Well that was unexpected." She looked up at her sister then to Po. "So what do we do now? He's passed out..." She took the top layer of her skirt off and fashioned it into a makeshift pillow, placing it under his head. She then stood and put her hands on her hips, pondering.

Po blinked, shocked. "I haven't even mixed the drink yet!" she protested. "Pigthoin." she muttered under her breath, then sighed deeply, rubbing the bridge of her nose with her thumb and forefinger, feeling the headache starting to come on. "Okay, let me find some blankets and we'll put him behind the bar. Random passed out men laying about my bar is terrible for business." she told the girls before she went off to track down said blankets. She could have sworn some of the weavers and embroiders had brought her some decent sized blankets as payment a few times. More than a few times actually, her sleeping pallet was made up of many of them, and she still had some to spare. Hand made clothing, accessories, and art was often the form of payment that was brought to her by the near by gypsy flocks. Every once in a while, someone would have sold some of their merchandise and had some real coins to use in the bar.

Ara waited with her twin until Po finally came back with the blankets. Together, they haled the stranger back behind the bar and got him settled in to the make-shift bed. When they were done, she huffed boldly. Gypsies were not known for keeping their mouths shut or holding their tempers in check. Aratoinetta bowed up to Po, "Why are you even letting him be here? How did he sneak past the guards?! If they're sleeping on the job, who knows the weird people that could find their way here from the Carny caravans! And He could be dangerous." she jabbed a slender finger toward the unconscious man. "We're just girls, Lulu couldn't hurt someone if she wanted to, and I can only do so much. I say we throw him out." she ranted without pause, and only the minimum amount of breaths necessary to keep her brain working.

Po's expression dulled into a soar dis-humor. She rolled her eyes toward the man laying under the shelves of the back side of the bar. Sleeping like a baby. "Yes, he looks so dangerous." she grunted sarcastically. Then she became more serious. "Chwaer, I will not be throwing out a Gypsy Soul who has traveled so much he has collapsed in exhaustion in my bar. No, I'm going to act the good host and let the man sleep, then we will question him and decide whether he is a danger or not. But right now, he's as harmless as Lulu is." Po scolded. "Go have another drink on me, Fach." Po made a shewing hand motion to get them out from behind the bar. Only Po was allowed behind the bar.

To think.......
:::::::::::: After a few hours of being unconscious, Argent slowly woke up to find himself near the back side of the bar. Slowly getting up he noticed he was unarmed.....he recalled taking his sword belt off earlier, but he never recalled passing out. Looking around he slowly remembered where he was. Standing there for a moment or two to let his sight go to normal and his balance set, he started looking around to see who was there, only to find Po standing there behind the bar. ".....I....apologize for passing out......I had traveled from so far......I usually don't go near camps such as this one.......nor near any people......much like the wolves try to stay far from humans. I suppose I should tell you how I got here....as well as what I am." His words sounded very restricted, and solemn, as well as though he had previously been afflicted by someone to have caused him to normal be by himself.

Po gave Ara a stern look, commanding her to not be rude this time, now that he was awake. "Yes, it would be best if you did tell us about yourself. We don't like threats or liabilities in the camp, where so many of us are criminals ourselves. We don't need anymore attention brought to us." she gestured toward one of the small tables that were clustered near the bar. "Please, have a seat. I'll cook something up while you talk, I think its high time we all get something to eat."

To think.......
::::::::::::Nodding in obediance to Po as he recognized her authority he went over to the seat he was told to sit down in. "Okay...I suppose I better start by why I appear to have such a dark aura. My journey had a very abrupt start a few years ago. I was out gathering fire wood when I came across someone who didn't appear to have been from my native land. When I got closer to him he said some wierd words that I couldn't understand, much like the words you spoke. As he said his words I could hear a wolf howling. When I turned around it was a white wolf, but in its eyes was an image of a man with spiked hair and wearing some sort of outfit that was meant to be for a battle. The next thing I knew I had felt a burning sensation on my arm." He pointed over to where the white wolf image on his arm was. ::::::::::::"When that appeared on my arm, the white wolf had vanished, and I had woke up in front of a dark forest armed with that sword over on the table. Ever since then, I wasn't sure if I was a threat to anyone or not, and I just didn't want to take a chance so I went solo for a while. During my travels I had come across one or two gypsy traders. It was from them I learned how to tat clothing that I could trade for supplies. However, traders and wild, dark ominous beasts were the only thing I neared in my journey. I had stayed away from people for the majority of the time. There were times where my body had changed too, to the very body I saw in that wolf's eyes, and my personality changed too when I was in that form. I don't understand what it was that man did to me those many months ago, but I do know one thing for certain. I do believe I may be a cursed man. Looking over at that lady over there, she didn't exacty appear to be so thrilled about my suddenly appearing here. To be honest I don't know what possessed the guards to just let me through. They did say something about seeing something in my eyes, like another man entirely." When he had finished talking, he looked back at Po as if waiting for her to say something. He didn't know why, but he felt like he should listen to what Po had to say now.

Lulu had sat on the bar, her head in her hands as she listened to his words. She had never really meet anyone outside of the family, her dear sister acted as her protector. Her eyes lingered on the marking of the wolf, finding it very interesting. "So why do you travel?" She asked as her curiosity was burning a hole in her mouth. Her sister always said she was rather nosie when it came to other people and far to trusting.

To think.......
:::::::::::: "Out of necessity.....had I stayed in one location for long enough time, civilization would have found me and I would not know if I'm a threat or not to a mass number of people. I could be one, or I might not be one. Such an answer eludes me still." He answered calmly and without snapping as he knew this girl wasn't a threat to him and had appeared innocent. Her sister on the other hand did not trust him or like him for that matter, and Po herself doesn't seem too trusting either. Still he remained calm knowing that if he made any hostile like movements it would only result in bloodshed. That was something he wanted to avoid as much as possible, except for when he must fight. Looking at the three ladies however.......he felt like if it was possible and he was allowed to join that he might become protective of them. He knew not what they were capable of and he did not want to judge on appearance.

Lulu couldn't help but let a small smile creap onto her face. She rather liked his calm demeanor, he was different than most of the people she knew. They were all so full of life and some had tempers. She was on the other hand quiet and shy, not so much like her sister who was more to the gypsy name. She didnt really take on much of the traits either, she was alright at the dances and couldn't hold her liquor like her sister. " Well, dear wanderer, it is truly nice to meet you." She offered her hand politely, then looked to her sister as if looking for permission.

Po listened intently to his entire speech. Silently, she took everything in. He had an edge of fear to him, fear of himself, and what he was capable of, fear of not knowing what his limits were. The possibility of a curse was always a terror to the soul. Unless there was a time limit in the curse, or the one who cast the curse undid the curse, then said curse would linger with that person, tormenting them forever, unless properly dealt with by a professional. Even the death of the one who placed the curse often would not break it. He was dangerous, on a level that was usually not welcome. But his fear of harming others, fear of what he could do and not knowing what it was, was endearing. The fact he'd wandered alone simply to protect people from himself made her heart softened, though her face stayed hard. "You are a potential hazard, but if you swear to try your best to not harm us, that any harm directed our way is not at your own will, but the will of the curse, then you may stay." she said in a stern voice, passing judgement. Then her posture took on a more relaxed stance, and her expression changed to something between friendly and playful. "To be honest, a gypsy camp is probably the best place you can be. Someone around here may just know how to find a cure to your problem."

To think.......
:::::::::::: "I swear it on my own blood." His face looked serious when he swore never to allow himself or anyone else to harm these ladies. "So there is a possibility of lifting the curse? I'm prepared to do what is necessary, even if I must become weak." Weak.......that was what he had used to be. Before the curse was cast on him, he was living in a village living out a very simplified life. A life of maintaining a supply of fire wood, but with the curse he had grown to be stronger. Enough to resist the dark power of the blade he pulled out of a pedestal in order to destroy the beasts that had chased him into a cave. Now that he thought about it, it was possible he was being made into something to be feared or an enemy.
