 Cause There's A Side To You
Finishing his drink a little too soon, the redhead leaves the empty glass on the bar. He might've tapped the solid wood, to get Asta's attention for another, but if he was to do shots that would be a bad idea. "I'll drink you into a coma." the redhead warned, grinning wickedly. "I've heard you aren't that great at holding your alcohol." he didn't reveal his sources, but there was one person that should immediately come to mind.

His eyes suddenly growing wide, Lloyd scoffed at his friend's accusation. "That's ridiculous! I'd just donated blood earlier that day, and I'm pretty sure that was pure alcohol..." He replied, coming up with a few weak excuses. More importantly, he couldn't believe his own wife had blabbed on him!

Cause There's A Side To You
"Yeah, yeah." the redhead flapped a hand at him, as if accepting the excuse but not quite believing it. "Be that as it may, there are few things my body burns as well as alcohol." as if to prove his point, he held up one finger that instantly set alight. A small flame flickered on his fingertip, and the redhead grinned; did his friend realize what he had gotten himself into? Cam ate like a beast, but his abilities burned so many calories, even while inactive, that none of it showed. Giving him strong alcohol in decent amounts, such as shots, was literally adding fuel to the fire. Opening his mouth to make another taunt, he was immediately stopped by the smack of a damp rag over his finger. Turning to look at his assailant, he got a face full of bar rag. "Asta!" he complained, tossing the rag down on the bar.
"What I tell you about fancy fire tricks?" the bartender snapped, her accent stronger in her irritation. There was a scorch mark just off center, but it had done the job. "You set bar on fire, I get fired." the vampire frowned, crossing her arms. She raised a hand as the other was about to object, shaking her head. "No excuses. A building filled with alcohol is one of last places you should be playing." she pointed out, disappearing beneath the counter to find the shot glasses. "Now quit pouting." she lined the glasses along the bar, turning to Lloyd with a smile; the redhead's friend was not a regular, and therefore required more polite service. "What kind of shots would you like?" it seemed there was little the bartender missed, as she knew of the shots plan before being instructed.

Cedric smiled remembering something about his powers. He giggled now that he thought about it. "I could out drink both of you and not get drunk or burn the alcohol away." Ced told them with a grin. It was man's first challenge ever. For someone who didn't drink many strong things it was a heavy challenge. Not for light weights.

Lloyd grinned eagerly. "It's decided then: We'll have a drinking contest! Last one down gets the solo on the next album. You guys down with that?" He asked, requesting Jello shots for 3 from Asta.

Cedric smiled and nodded. He was clearly in. What his teammates probably forgot was that he was a unicorn and unicorn horns had a special property all the alcohol would do to him was make him feel really nice.

Jello shots? Yes, she had those on hand. Disappearing beneath the counter, the came back up with a tray covered in shot glasses filled with the colorful substance. From the sound of their boasting, it looked like she might need to prepare more. Removing the plastic wrap from over the tray, the blonde moved the empty shot glasses to the prep area on her side of the bar, she made three neat lines in front of each man. Setting the tray back in the lower prep area, she pulled a container of jello out from the cupboards below and set about preparing more. Just in case.
"Well aren't you a hotshot?" the redhead smirked, glancing at Cedric with an amused look. "Shots contest it is! I want that solo." it seemed that he would have a bit of trouble, what with Cedric and his fancy ability. He didn't know about Lloyd's alcohol tolerance, other than what he had heard from Cynthia, so he wasn't completely sure there either. The drummer was a credible source, however, and he chose to trust her. Glancing over to the neat lines appearing in front of each of them, he frowned. Turning his puppy-like look on Asta, he spoke in a slightly flirty manner. "I only like the red ones." he complained, still frowning a bit.
Smirking in response to the redhead's complaint, the blonde shook her head. "You ask friends to trade. I have no more." she informed him, showing him the empty box of strawberry jello mix. "Besides, you have no time for tasting if doing shots correctly. Especially way you inhale alcohol." she pointed out, causing the other to chuckle. Lining the shot glasses on the tray, she slipped the set of them into the fridge for them to set.

Cedric thought about the ones he was willing to take. He knew which ones wouldn't be picked. "I'll take all the lemon and lime shots." He answered. No one really liked those and he had a plan to get them down fast.

Lloyd nodded. "Then I guess that leaves Grape and Cherry for me." He resolved, pulling a small vial from his pocket.

Pleased with the way that it was turning out, the redhead swapped out what shots he could with his friends; that left him with mostly red and a few various other colors. After all, with his single color restriction, he wouldn't be able to have just his preferred color and still have the same number as the other two. "Alright, so what are the rules?" he asked, eyeing the vial that Lloyd had pulled from his pocket. He glanced at Asta, who had moved back down the bar to check on the others that were there. Looking back to his friends, he wondered if there was any way for this to end well.

he lifts up his glass and looks at it as if he is inspecting it, after looking at it for a few seconds he says "down the hatch"and drinks it all in one go.

Downing the vial in one go, he simply grinned before saying: "Street rules. There ARE no rules." Before grabbing one of Cam's shots, drinking it before he could protest. "Mad bro?" He taunted, holding the empty glass in front of his friend.

Raising a brow at his statement about street rules, the redhead let out a harsh laugh. "The boy who grew up in a nice house wants to school me on street rules?" his tone was mocking, and he glanced at Cedric next. "Next thing we know, you're going to teach me how to deal with gangs!" he shook his head, turning his gaze back on Lloyd as his shot was snatched away. "Hey hey, don't steal a man's drink." he complained, reaching to snatch one of Lloyd's shots in turn. Tossing it back, he waves the glass in Lloyd's face in the same manner. "Nah, bro. You mad?"

Grinning, Lloyd took another shot, this time one of his own. "You'd be surprised about some of the things I know and have done... Ever participated in "The ritual of the dancing leaves?" He asked, picking up another glass.

Selecting another shot, the redhead raised it to his lips when he stopped. Glancing sideways at Lloyd, he simply shook his head. "It is at times like this that you worry me." he let out a short sigh, throwing back the shot in the most appropriate manner. He was starting to feel a little buzzed, but certainly nothing he couldn't handle easily. "You, my good sir, know more than you probably should."
