It's going to take maybe a year for the new digimon to get usable sprites. crying I can wait, but I just don't want to.

Depends on how long people are willing to wait, or how willing they are to take matters into their own hands. I noticed that the guild doesn't have sprites for Orochimon or Volcdramon, so I took it upon myself to make some of my own. (still in progress, but.... getting there. Dx)

I really don't see the point of getting a digimon and not using it ^ ,^
Plus it helps add more to the over all RP experience~

As for Sheriti I would say she's conflicted not depressing ^ ,^
And I hope our RPCs met up a lot too, my RP friend circle has been slowly shrinking with the number of people not posting any more ~ ,~'

I just see that often though. They just rush to get that Digimon because it either seems "cool" or just "powerful" to have. Or just want to have more Digimon that everyone. It irks me.

Honestly- I refuse to post anything until they revamp the RP forum. Haha~ :C

I'm not currently RPing ether, I was doing the RP event however I have no Idea whats going on with that soooo I guess I'm taking an RP break : P

Venusmon is indeed sexy, but she's a crap Digimon. I personally don't care for all the overly-humanoid Digimon coming out... I mean good god, at least with Angewomon and Angemon, at the very least the proportions were slightly skewed so they'd still be seen as monsters. Now, what do we have-- Petermon, CaptainHookmon?! When did Digital Monsters become Digital People? No, I don't approve of these... To be fair, the designs ARE cool, but this is even farther from what Digimon is supposed to be from where we already were (and I can agree with some of the Xros designs! I thought the reimagining of MetalGreymon was really cool for instance). CaptainHookmon seems especially unnecessary to me, given that we already HAVE Hookmon and that he HAS an evolution from DW in the form of Assaultmon/Armormon, so I really don't like him (or his design LOL). Venusmon irritates me because it's basically just a pretty lady with big boobs dressed in white-- she's fanservice, pure and simple. Vulcanusmon is the only design I can really get behind here, I think it's pretty creative... and Tinkermon is passable to me because it gives Kazemon and the other Wind-spirit hybrids a rookie to come from, LOL.

On the whole though I don't really like the direction Digimon is taking.
PS: Weren't Daemon and Lilithmon already the virus/shadow/demonic versions of Seraphimon and Ophanimon....? If not, are we going to have holy versions of those two demon lords? Just saying.

/rant.

....okay I apologize to anyone who was weirded out by that comment. =___= To be clearer, the point I was trying to make is that Venusmon has a terrible design outside of being 'sexy', AKA fanservice. The only appealing thing about her design, in other words, is her boobs, and that's not enough to make a design good.

....does anyone get what I'm saying? I sort of feel like I'm not articulating this as well as I should be.

Yeah, but Venus was the roman god of love and beuty. She looks human and normal because thats what most humans find to be appealing. Fan service? That is for the fans because they find it appealing, thus connecting it in their minds to beauty, even if lust replaces love in this formula. you have to admit, that is the direction the designers were obviously going.
