After driving his opponent's skull into the barely padded pine that made up the ring mat, Major would back himself up against the ropes before attempting to drop a Harley Race-style jumping knee onto her forehead. Judging by the way things were turning out so far, it was looking like Rebz might end up with Excederin Headache #9 by the time the match was over...

Major went for his knee drop, and executed it on the back of Rebz head! It felt like 20,000 lbs just dropping into her skull! Rebz looked out cold!

With Rebz appearing to be unconscious, Major would try to drag her clear of the ropes, and if successful, he would then go for a cover.

Rebz was dragged to the center of the ring, and Major covered her for the pin.
"ONE!...TW-, only one!" The ref yelled, as Rebz got her shoulder up. She could have kicked out at the last second, but for what? Two seconds of rest? No! She wanted to show her toughness, determination, and to prove her strength. Especially since its still pretty early in the match. No way she is going to job to anybody just like that.
Despite her head pounding on the inside, its not something she hasn't felt before and a blood-running nose, she rolled over onto her belly, looking to push herself up to all fours and back to her feet. If Major doesn't do anything anyway.

"Stupid, stubborn...", Major muttered as he sat up after Rebz kicked out of the cover. Once he got back up on his feet, he would back up and -once again- give his opponent an opportunity to do the same...maybe this time she'd actually take advantage of it.

With one of her hands, she wipes some of the blood running down her nose. It feels like its already stopping, nevertheless it still hurts. Rebz continued to get back on her feet, beckoning Major to 'Bring It'.

"Your funeral," Major said in response to the invitation to "bring it", just before he shot forward looking to slip behind Rebz in order to go for a waist lock. Should his attempt be successful, the IC champ would promptly attempt to dump her on her face by way of an inverted side slam.

Rebz chuckled at Major's statement, as if its supposed to scare her. Major was able to slip behind her, but she wasn't going to let him go any further. She kept all her weight down, when Major lifted her from her feet. She forced her feet to hit the mat again. But to escape his grip, she would attempt to stomp on his foot, and follow up with a few elbows to the side of his head!

While getting his foot stomped on was unpleasant, it didn't bother Major enough to release his waist lock after Rebz lowered her center of gravity to keep herself grounded. He was about to try to drop down a bit to compensate and give it another go when the barrage of back elbows began...which did have the desired effect of persuading the Marine to back off and regroup.

With Major backing off, Rebz could not halt the assault now, she had to keep going or else she would end up like she was just now! Rebz quickly turns around, and with the momentum of spinning around, she would attempt to throw a hard right punch aiming for Major's jaw!

When Rebz turned around, she nailed Major right in the jaw, staggering him back a bit! With him a bit dazed, she would attempt to push him back into the corner, and give him a few shoulder thrusts to his ribs!

((Sorry about that, work's been crazy.))
It took Major a few seconds to regain his footing after getting cracked in the jaw, but off-balance or not, the 6'4" 270-pound Marine wasn't going to be easy to push around. About halfway to the turnbuckles, once his composure returned, the IC champ would dig in his heels and try to shove her away from him.

Just as she was about to reach the corner, he surprised her with the shove that sent her back stumbling, nearly losing her balance! Though she had to try again, and with the small distance between them, she would attempt a running clothesline to him while he was somewhat near the corner!

As Rebz came charging toward the corner, Major went with the obvious answer to this course of action...he would try to level her with a big boot!

Major surprisingly shows his quickness by aiming his boot! Luckily it hit her chest and not in the face, either way it still wouldn't have sent her down. Rebz was sent back a few feet again after the boot!
