He raced beside her, careful not to get in her way. Though he noted the sloppy movements and almost tsked out loud as the adol almost got away from her, but as she caught it, he was there quickly, "Kill him before he kills you." He said in a loud firm tone over the beasts squeals.
His tail lashed out as his blood raced with the fire of a hunt, he eyed her before he stepped back. This was her kill, her chance to prove herself a huntress and able to provide for the pride that she was reunited with.

Jua nodded, hearing his words and obeying. The warthog was small, and with a few well-placed bites she was able to kill it with as little mess as possible. The hunt had been sloppy, but she did at least know how to kill things at the end of it.
Once that was done, she stood up, panting. It had taken all her strength to run the way she had, and she was feeling rather worn out. Turning to Khaj, she asked, “Do we eat it now? Or bring it back?” Despite her tiredness, she seemed proud. She was glad at least that even though the chase had been a bit unskilled, she had at least brought down her prey. It hadn’t been a total failure, and that was good enough for her!

"We will take it back to your den." He said, and with ease he picked up the hog by the throat, secretly crushing its wind pipe just to be sure it was dead, he didn't only do it to her, but normally during the hunt. He carried the hog back through the forest, careful to leave as little track as possible, he didnt want the life to leave the forest in fear of being hunted.
It was easier to keep game around the pride if they were slightly confused about the activity of the hunters in the pride. The hog was small, but heavy for its size, would offer more than enough of a meal for them, he was sure her son would be more than happy to finish the left overs.
